does Dace know about Martha being the Master of the Elder Wand instead of just its wielder?

He has an inkling of an idea, but Martha's being rather cagey on what happened when Dace was dead, Urie was unconsciou, and Oliver is unwilling to stay in the same room as him, so he only has a vague dea at best

And can he borrow the Invisibility cloak

Yeah, he can

(or possibly the entire set, possibly after casting a Disarming Charm at Martha)?

It must be forcibly taken, and Martha's unnaturally high loyalty to Dace makes that impossible.

does Martha's +1 Speed from Basic Tactics apply to her campaign movement speed?

Yep~

Dace's destroy undead won't work because of the Death faction ability. Changing around my vote. Martha leads an army to Orkney, Dace with a smaller team to rescue Lucius, and Urie to London.

If we let Dace handle the trigsomethingunit we migth get some bonus from Cherry in handling it .

I also don't trust Dace to survive if we send him after death eaters. Its one of those risks we have been warned repeatedly off.

Not to mention that depending on the size of the units, the other players may or may not detect you and act accordingly~

Its basically the same as proposed above, just a changed the position of Urie and Dace because I consider sending Dace on a scouting mission far do dangerous. If he is watched (which he may or may not be) this would be a perfect opportunity to do so. I also gave Urie some ranged units.

Plan name: Let's survive until Heartbreak

Succor for Fumbledore (He wasn't invited) noncanon +6
Succor for Fumbledore
Orkney Islands: Winter 1986

Dumbledore took stock of the battle, and what he saw was disheartening. The undead were too numerous and the fortifications too strong to achieve victory. He had hoped that with Tom's disastrous expedition into Wales, he would be able to stop the spread of the undead infestation, but it seemed he would fail once again. He caught Fawkes' eye, but before he could signal to withdraw, Fawkes' eyes widened, and he swooped down towards him. Dumbledore raised an eyebrow – did Fawkes really think that the single vampire standing behind him would be a threat?

There was a loud thud behind him, and the vampire went flying over his shoulder straight into a blazing inferno created by Fawkes. He turned to see Martha Drake standing behind him with an ugly scowl on her face. Ah, so that's what he was worried about.

With a twinkle in his eye Dumbledore spoke, "What brings you out here Martha?"

She shrugged, "Dace said you needed some help, and I'm good at taking care of these things."

Martha pulled a battered looking envelope out of her sleeve, "Here's your wedding invitation. Try not to bring along spies this time. I don't want to get my wedding dress ruined taking out the rubbish."

With a huff, she stomped away from him towards the front lines. Bemused, Dumbledore disarmed some harmless pranks cast on the envelope as scores of arrows slammed into vampires and a horde of wolves crashed into the inferi. He wasn't sure which surprised him more – Dace sending an army to help him or Dace inviting him to his wedding. It warmed his heart to think his son was still willing to reach out even after all the damage he had done to their relationship. With a smile, he and Fawkes rejoined the fight to liberate Orkney.

And yet, little did he know what Dace had in store for him with the seating arrangements.

Turn 6 : Winter 1986 (3)

Turn 3 : Urie

While all of the armies spread out, it became clear that the speeds were completely different. This is how Urie found himself in wizarding London, wishing he had fallen on a ditch or something, because this was going to be more troublesome that it was worth. When he saw the chaos in the streets, he almost called for a retreat, but a warning growl from the wolf carrying him made it clear they would refuse to obey.

This was such a pain in the butt, he sighed in his mind, as the wolves flooded the streets, engaging the minions and troglodytes, causing the ground to turn red. Still, he advanced. After all, maybe something here could maybe cause his death?

As he walked on, he heard the sound of a child crying. They were stuck under part of a burning building and death was imminent for them. Lucky kid, he said in his mind, envious of their situation, but using his staff as a lever to move the rubble away, allowing the child to crawl out. He didn't need even more lectures about proper behavior around children from Oliver, even if those were made in the direction of a demented Dace and not himself. The man sure could nag.

As the child finally escaped, a screaming and crying -and oh so loud- woman with red hair was thanking him profusely, a creature, half woman, half snake jumped from the shadows and in the air, intent on colliding with him. He stared with detachment, welcoming his fate, when something hissed next to his ear and an arrow lodged itself between the beast's eyes. Urie felt his eye twitch.

Darn it. Almost there.

He hated being here. The smoke was making him cough and his eyes water, but he persevered, if only because his colleague, Sharon, threatened to tie him with a rope and let one of the wolves drag him on the ground if he didn't.

The trek through the streets was mind-numbingly dull, with him walking on the front, the enemy creatures trying to jump him and offer him sweet, sweet oblivion, and one of the elves, wolves, and even a druid ruining his efforts. Also, along the way, it seemed like he'd gained a following of civvies huddled together and surrounded by the elves.

Of course, the archers' pointed ears drew attention, and it was a woman in trousers -therefore a muggleborn- who explained what they were. She looked a bit familiar, but he couldn't remember who she was, and couldn't be bothered to remember either.

The streets had become bigger now, and human bodies were lining them, along with strange half human, half cow creatures, when he noticed something.

There was a figure, clad in black, spiky armor with a gauntlet oozing red energy, surrounded by small brown creatures, some of them pouring out from a half destroyed building that he noticed was the entrance to the Ministry of Magic, carrying a weird metallic thing that looked like a black potato with red sprouts, and considering the flames on top, it was a very hot potato.

The Sauron wannabe just stared at him, on hand on his (?) mace and the one with the heavy gauntlet hanging limply, parallel to their body. Their entire attitude made it clear that they wouldn't attack if Urie didn't, but that they were ready for a fight nonetheless.

The gazes of the civilians behind his back made it clear what option it was that they preferred ( the red haired harpy was almost spitting on the ground in rage), but honestly, he couldn't be bothered and would be very content if the Overlord were to go without a fight.

What does Urie do?
[] This is gonna be a pain... But he gotta do what he gotta do. Also, chance of dying. (Fight)
[] Whatever. They've already got what they were here for, and he was only really sent to put an end to the situation anyways... (Don't fight)

Turn 8 : Dace

Not being able to apparate was perhaps the biggest problem he had, right next to not being able to throw money at this particular problem or having dragons burn them. It was a long chase that spanned for hours, going through mountains, forests and plains. More than once, the Death Eaters showed a surprising amount of cunning by using muggle transportation systems to their advantage, which is why it took him so much time to get to them.

However, they made the mistake of taking a breather before breaching the Scottish mountains, which allowed Dace to catch them, unaware of their presence.

A quick look showed him that there were about 50 Death Eaters, and that Lucius was laying unconscious a bit further.

What should Dace do?
[] Try to spirit Lucius away. (Stealth approach) [Available since Dace is present]
[] Frontal attack (Fight)
[] Bide your time (Wait)

Turn 12 : Martha.

The ground was slightly muddy, and the lack of roots made it uncomfortably unstable under her troops' feet and paws. However, this did nothing to keep the woman from pushing her ride a bit harder towards the battlefield she saw.

On her right, she saw Dumbledore, in eye-watering pink and blue robes, casting spells to heal and reinforce his troops, while an enlarged phoenix rained fire on the enemy undeads. The gate of the makeshift fort still stood tall, as the lich on the tower was raining poison and death on the living while zombies were flooding the ground, biting and devouring the living, causing them to come back as undeads themselves.

The morale was obviously low, the people on the side of Life looking horrified at what was happening.

Martha just snorted. The weak willed had no place on the battlefield.

She squeezed slightly the flanks of the wolf, causing it to run faster towards the battlefield.

Dumbledore's head turned, eyes widening slightly upon seeing her, and he shouted orders, causing his own troops to retreat as hers jumped in the melee to devastating effects. Her fists glowed with light as she weaved between the moving corpses and pulverized undead after undead. Around her, the wolves were also busy, often tag teaming the undeads to minimize the risks, even though there were still losses, as the elves peppered the battlefield with arrows from afar. It was a testament to their skill that no arrow touched people from their own side, even in the middle of such a chaotic mess.

Human dust was flying around her and the air was filled with poison, her face was flushed and her heart was pounding with excitement.

This was what she was made for, the life and death, the screams and violence, that dance at the knife's edge where the smallest mistake would spell her doom!

She felt strength flooding her as her skin took a light golden sheen, showing her that Dumbledore or one of his followers had begun to bless her troops, and she attacked with this surplus of energy, plowing through the undead's ranks and leaving a trail of dust and broken corpses behind her.

It could have been minutes or hours, she didn't quite know, lost as she was in her maddened dance, but soon, they were attacking the walls and doors, and this is when things became complicated.

A chill ran through her spine and she immediately turned around, fists raised, as from the top of a nearby hill, she saw even more undead, just under three hundred, and half a dozen people wearing dark armor and riding black steeds. One of them lead their mount towards them, separating lightly from their group and descending from the horse, still far enough from them that they'd have time to react if attacked.

That particular figure's armor was strange, all black, save for the breastplate, that seemed to be made of emerald scales, with a massive ruby embedded at the sternum's level, just under two golden dragon wings. Over their head was a golden helmet fashioned like a skull, that they took off, revealing a youthful and handsome face, framed by short red hair.

Their voice is what revealed that the speaker was female, even if it was a bit low.

"Please run away, I don't want to have to kill you all." While the woman looked and sounded apologetic, the absolute confidence with which she carried herself was worrying.

Martha looked at her own troops, then at Dumbledore's. He had about three hundred fighters and spellcasters himself, even if they didn't look all that trained

What does Martha do?
[] Preemptive attack : kill the leader and the spell is lifted, killing all of the troops. [Available Due to Martha Being here]
[] Attack ! You were here to kill them all, and that's what you will do.
[] Retreat. You can see liches and all kinds of undeads, you're not sure you're prepared for a battle.

So, Martha's being a berserker, Dace is one old sneaky boi, and Urie is seen as a stone cold badass hero. Something's wrong with the population, I tell you.

As you may have seen, I've noted the turns of arrival, it makes things a little more spontaneous. Urie's Battle is taking place first, chronologically, and Martha's last.
This will allow, if things go fast enough, to reinforce some army with another group's troops, so just keep it in a corner of your mind.

Also, about Shirley, I would like to say she was designed right after Not-Monika and before Anastasia, way before Martha rolled her way in the quest.

If we fight I am willing to use my saved up points to assist in Urie's fight if it will make him succeed. I also don't want the Overlord to get another powerful potato, and I am quite enjoying Urie. As far as we are concerned the Overlord has yet to lose a single encounter. We should do something about that, and we got canon fodders on our side. He just has Minotaurs and Gorgons.

Who is the red haired harpy in jeans anyway? Do we know any read haired muggle born that we didn't leave at home? Assuming the red haired and who he refers to as a harpy is the same person.

I have no faith in Dace during combat. Sneaking sounds great.

Martha is kicking ass. Should we go with the preemptive attack?

The overlord is probably going to smash us so I will more then likely change my vote later unless we get some omakes.

Rufus be a roach. Though I won't lie, his faction is now homeless. Again. Order being hobo is quickly gonna join the fumbledore meme if that continues e_e"

Dont suppose we have any writers in thread?
Omakes on the overlord action would be greatly appreciated and are highly warranted.

Chilling at home while London is on fire (canon) +12
Chilling at home while London is on fire..: and excerpt from the Jokerquest Negaverse.

You where sitting in the oh so familiar living room, As Reggie walked aggressively around, complaining. The walls, tainted by black magic was the same as ever. It was starting to creep you out a bit.

At least the chairs were comfortable

Reggie stopped pacing around, before dropping into one the chairs. A long fart sound could be heard as his butt planted itself on the fart pillow he had conjured up earlier. Reggie groan made him smile.

"One day, I swear. One day I am going neater you"

"The alcohol is in the coffin behind you." you said as Reggie slowly restricted out to grab some of it. The new servant, a cute girl with red hair had stocked the reserve up after the last time this had happened. He didn't mind how Reggie had replaced that dreaded house elf. Good riddance.

"Our spies have reported that Gwallawg has finally gone on the offensive" The cold bastard did? That's new.

"One of his men is leading a force of wolves and elves through London, saving wizards and muggles alike " That would explain the explosions he could faintly hear in the distance.

"The chaos beasts have assaulted his party a dozen times, but they fall like flies just before reaching him. Our spy reports that he looks disappointed every time they fail. From what our intelligence can tell, he is heading directly towards the ministry of magic". Well, that's unnerving. At least a stone cold badass versus the Overlord himself could prove to be an interesting spectacle.

Now, what should be done with this situation. He asked the usual question.

What would James do?

Probably run out with wand blazing and see what happens.

What would you do?
[] Join the battle
[X] Don't.

No reason to start doing things differently.

and Reggie had already started drinking...

I don't know whats up between Shirley and Black, so I couldn't include it.
