[X] Boggs (Inquisition)
[X] all points into intelligence

the gm stated intelligence is the stat to raise if we want to improve our skills faster... and we are going into a break where we can train... yeah this is kind of obvious guys.

Warp travel takes months at a pop right? Effectively we have to travel for months to a location to join and get training in the inquisition which itself might take the form of a month of training. At which point we then travel to another location thats a month away... yeah plenty of time to train all the potential skills we might want to learn if we have an awesome intellect to rely on...

should be enough to become a complete badass/ basically become an elite with that kind of time and intellect.

[X] Boggs(Inquisition)

[X] How do you spend your points?
-[X] Raise everything to 20 then put last point into Strength

[X] Boggs(Inquisition)

[X] How do you spend your points?
-[X] 15 to VIT, 15 to INT, 14 to DEX, 6 to WIS

[X] Boggs(Inquisition)

-[X] plan Lucky Magi
-[X] 15 points into luck
-[X] 15 points into Int
-[X] 15 points into WIS
-[X] 5 points into WP

Luck because it affects random events and well if we run into a bad event we will die. As well as Weapons and armor being completely OP in 40k

Int wis and WP so we can amp up our abilities. And gets skills from 25

Apparently we get a perk when a stat hit's 25, or so I'm told, so it might be a good idea to aim for that number.

Or not, who the hell knows what's best anymore.

Go back and read this post of mine . In the quote at the bottom it mentions milestones bonuses as 25, then 50, then 100.

As for what's best, once again wisdom is godly. It encompasses the benefits that the social stat (charisma ect) usually has, has half of the benefits of mental stats in better decisions and MP regen, and is typically one of the hardest stats to raise given on it's own. All of these are helpful in either the Inquisition or the Imperial Guard given how important connections are and navigating through the organization, which should boost skill gain if we're capable of convincing others to aid us.

We get perks at 25 as well? Thought it was just 50.
I also thought it was just 50. also i thought it was "over" rather than "exactly". so we need 51 rather than 50.
Does anyone have a quote on QM saying this?
also, the 25 points would be easy to reach with training probably. the 50s not.

Warp travel takes months at a pop right?
Usually. It is fairly random, it can take years, it can take tens of thousands of years, it can literally make you time travel into the past reaching the destination before you even left your point of origin.

the gm stated intelligence is the stat to raise if we want to improve our skills faster...
Do you mind showing the quote for this?

I hope we can have time to training montage before get involve in what inquisition do.

Hmm So I am not lore expert,Can normal human join church and become cardinal?.

So, here is my question.

Which would let us, a man with magic powers that will eventually make us one of the strongest beings in the universe, both do the most good and effect the most positive change?

Cause, I'm thinking the Guard, becoming a famous leader of millions would let us do more then being a spy but, you know, I could be wrong. I'm not exactly super knowledgeable on WH40K.

What does everyone think of my question?

Inquisitors aren't just spies. Well, Acolytes can be. They are also Wetworks/SpecOps/Researchers/etc.

As Acolyte/Throne Agent, we do whatever our Inquisitor tells us to and rise in his esteem. If he thinks we have what it takes, he sponsors us to become an Inquisitor ourself.

That means we can go whereever we please and if we are good enough, we can call entire Crusades down on someone. We are perfectly capable of comandeering entire Sector Fleets if we think it necessery. Only other Inquisitors can gainsay us, and they won't if we keep delivering good results.

As a Guardsman, we have an army to back us up, but no agency until we become a Lord General at minimum. And we aren't even a noble, so we have even worse odds. We are also stuck with regulation equipment unlike an Inquisitor.

As a Guardsman, we may only ever wield what we are issued. That may become quite good, but never as good as what the Inquisition gets. Fore reference, Carapace Armor and a Hellgun are pretty much the best we can hope for.

As Inquisitorial agents, we can get our hands on powered armor and Conversion Beamers. Every training we could want and more.

The only downside is that Throne Agents regularly face absurdly nasty shit, but we are immune to Insanity and Fear, which is a big deal already. And low level Acolytes aren't thrown at Greater Daemons. Usually they handle minor Cults to learn the ropes.

[X] 14 to DEX, 15 to VIT, 6 to WP, 15 to WIS

So since our hp only goes up from raising vit we need to do that as a stray hit took out half of our health. Also with inquisition I am hoping for time to train in downtime between missions plus we should have access to better training facilities

A problem with the Guard is at some point some one from the massive amount of people we are going to be around is going to realize we're not normal

And unless they REALLY like us their going to tell someone, who probably knows nothing about and will have us killed

With the Inquisition we'll be around a much smaller group of people which makes it easier to befriend them so they don't tell and the only person to tell would be the inquisitor who would probably see as a useful tool and not kill

At least not for a while
