Royal? Nnnnnnot exactly? You just joined HeroCooky's quest so you probably wouldn't know:
Way back at the beginning he gave us an opertunity to write a special aspect of the island for our Plan of defining what's so special about the island, along with the name, time period and so forth. I wrote this huge thing about how we're crazy duckers that just can't be conquered. Citing a time where (unnamed but leaning towards European. Because apparently Europeans forced Japanese\Chinese to open up boards in no small part because of superior fire power) several ships tried to do the same thing to our little island and failed miserably.
Because we went the extra mile and will never be daunted be something as insignificant as advance artillery shelling.
The big crescendo was one of the ships saying enough was enough and decided to just ram the beach to force a landing. Where one of the Island women went out and tamed a tiger and convinced it to climb up on a catapult to strike down the ship. And it worked splendidly.
@HeroCooky Liked it so much that despite it not winning he made that part of my plan canon. Never explicitly said how much but it was.
Then later on while there was another write in for Iron Tiger stuff. I got a little exposition-y but the gist is I wrote a Entrapta expy named Erika in that she is highly smart and sciencey oriented. And she comes from a family so prestigious that they are treated as pseudo royalty despite not being related to the actual Royal Family. Because they are descendants of that lady that tamed the tiger for ammo that struck the crippling and demoralizing blow to the foreign invaders.
And Erika herself is highly regarded by the Technologist faction and even called their princess due to her efforts.
Again it didn't win. BUT! HeroCooky did make my OC character CANON! Though again only hinted at what was canonized.
THAT is the family I am talking about. Richest and most famous family in the island, (possibly) second only to the actual royal\ruling family. And don't have as many eyes on them outside the island as their names only come up if someone is doing so in depth research as our nation are very much an unknown compared to the other nations. Ergo a local family no matter how important on the island would be even less known outside the island than the island itself.

Well, since it looks like people are speccing into the Boss, we may be able to bring some of the warring factions to the table and try to make peace with places that may or may not see some in decades.
But the problem is, we are also a post colonial state in Africa, and there is the problem of two things.
One, we need money, because Money is power.
Two: We need people, because, like China tries to do sometimes, People are power, and people are a resource that give you power.
Doubtful. I really doubt you want to be some kind of crazy state that offers to train, arm, and test battlefield armies and soldiers for the express purposes of a dear old revolution.

Well, you can meet both. Botswana is one of the most stable markets we can trade too in Africa, and Ethiopia is a place we can easily turn into our playground once the civil war starts up in earnest.
Oh my, I was mostly joking, I didn't realize that was actually an option. There's a little dark part of me that kind of wants to explore how a micro nation could bring about Armageddon. One way or another, we will bring people closer to the Lord.
