Digging for Nations in the Desert (No SV, You are a Micronation in the End of the World)

Oh, I almost forgot. Before this quest ends, we should definitely settle things with our father, whether through revenge or reconciliation. After all, that's what kickstarted this whole adventure in the first place.

The End in a Desert
The End in a Desert:

You then set the detonator down, and everyone in the room was allowed to let out a breath, not only of relief but of confusion. You held the world in your hand, and just let it live. You then spoke on your radio. "Disable the signal. Allow our comrades to remain in control of their weapons."

You smiled as you sat down. "You may wonder what I have done, but I hope that this moment where nuclear annihilation was a button press away. That was the point. You all were so blind in your mad dash to destroy me, that you took your eyes off of the truly great weapons. I could have forced your nations to become nothing more than nuclear husks of their former selves. Where monsters and the strong would survive, and everyone else would die. Your people dying, to a woman whose one and only crime to you, was trying to make too much history, and rule a land no one wanted."

You found yourself chuckling. "You think I'm a monster willing to kill the world to get the last laugh?"

At that everyone was silent. "I don't think you understand me at all."

A moment later everyone was looking ready, perhaps not to rush you, but to speak, to try and get away from you to inform their governments about the situation that had just transpired.

"Why?" Ambassador Kissenger stated as you looked out into the falls.

"Simple. Maybe this is what the world needed. A reality check to show them all that, we have the power to destroy ourselves. And we are too stupid to realize that the power we have should not exist."

You then stood as you saw your helicopter come closer. "Perhaps you will see what I have said as wisdom. Or not, I do not control you. But recognize this. Outer Heaven has declared that it will see the nuclear arsenals of the world be disarmed. By any means."

Ah, let's see if they can catch you. You then pulled the ripcord and the Fulton balloon shot up.

It caught. Good. "Bye everyone, see you at the UN!"
----------------------------------------------------

"You bullshitted them?" Ma asked as she snuggled up.

"No, I had used the nuke that we had found and placed it safely in the ocean, where the detonation, while possibly affecting the sea life for a few decades, would not have caused much in the way of damage to the world. Or be noticeable. And since we did not need to go through with our bluff."

"You had the world by the balls with a bluff?" She said. "I honestly thought that you were serious."

"Come now, remember what we do? Theatricality is a better part of the suspension of disbelief and making them believe that you would do it. They had no knowledge of it, and they never will, and hopefully, they will see to lower the stockpiles that they have, and make sure they are well protected."

You threatened nuclear terrorism, and possible state back terrorism, just to prove a point, despite your bluffs.

"You think they will still try to invade us?" Ma asked.

"No. The looks on their faces said everything. They didn't stop to think what i did was possible." You replied. "Even if they tried, only America can possibly do it."

And in the end, they were more than happy to keep you safe for doing work.

You could focus on what was important. "See you in the morning." You kissed your wife goodnight on her forehead.

"Goodnight." She whispered.

Reward:

End Game Achived: The World Ends with You.

You have successfully held the world in your hands, and forced it to change.

You could have ended the world, or saved it.

You chose to save it.

AN: Enjoy.

Ngl, I think this is the first quest I've ever seen come to completion instead of dying out over time. Itt was nice while it lasted and it was fun.

Nice to see you finish another quest, still waiting on you reviving that merc quest
Most likely going to reboot that quest down the line.

Why is that so surprising, I've completed like... ten quests.

Now there is a graveyard of other dead quests... but I've got a good record of completing some of the quests.
Once again, the legacy of the Boss goes unanswered... but it was fun! I hope we see more of this wacky nation.
Eh, eventually.
Man I was here till the end of a Magoose quest, never woulda thunk that.
Eh, eventually, I do complete quests.

Eventually.

No on ever believes it when I say I'm starting another quest to replace one almost finished.

But hey, that's how it is some times.

I'm a bit confused to be honest. If this was all a enormous bluff, what was the plan if we actually did press the button?
Well lets just say that the nations would have reacted to a nuclear blast, and think that everything was going to hell.

And all the nukes would be fired.

But wouldn't that result in only the utter destruction of the Triangle and not the rest of the world? I mean, we literally announced to all the nuclear superpowers that we're the ones responsible.

Lets just say that, Your crits made you hold the world in your hand.
