Begin with tamed tigers that follow your commands with some regularity.. +10 to social rolls. -1 to international relations because not only are you an ex monarch trying to start something us, but your home country really dislikes you, for the whole, being a member of the royal family they haven't killed.

I decided to make a charecter who's sole existence was being screwed over by the player base and the Glorious leader, because he decided that food was more important then heavy industry.
Plus the mech program stole even more of his funding.
Like I said, our dad is a murderous asshole.
He really really is playing a game of thrones to become a high ranking member of the party.
Does he have a name yet?
Thinking of trying to go for an omake 'analysis' on said individual. A large family where it's a coin flip if they want to kill him, or simply just want to screw him over, possibly?

I've already made an omake on the other quest about him constantly being... screwed over by the insanity, and also getting promoted. Again because he's got the luck of the devil.
Basically, his wife loves him, his son hates him, but respects him, and we hate him so much we ran away from home and just told him to fuck off, I'm founding a nation. Just to get away from him.
...So he is generally limited to Guangchou for now, and hasn't been that active elsewhere in the world? Which...
Honestly would kind of make him a bit of a small-timer by sheer dint of Guangchou being Guangchou. Until the great Carrier incident though.

Well, he has been active elsewhere, when he was a younger man and the stories he could tell from that time are as numerous... as they are false.
He wants to think he's Che, when in actuality he's just a pussy who's really good at paper work.

A 'Loyal' agent of the revolution. He is a foreigner whom integrated himself into Wei Cai's administration, as part of the heavy industry branch. He has had 'adventures' when younger that has left a decent amount of 'family' scattered around the world, even if the stories he tells are mostly BS. While he is interested in growing his own power and fancies himself as somewhat of a mastermind, but the reality is, he isn't really good at it. On the other hand, he is REALLY GOOD at his job, making him worth keeping around. Which is probably why he was able to bounce between places ranging from USA all the way to china, before settling here. Though he has typically have fled when he started getting real nervous about events.
Of course, we should probably keep an eye on his daughter that fled from home when faced with arranged marriage, and decided to found her own country in the middle east. Though at least, it is doubtful he could use her resources to try and pull a coup considering the strained relationship.
A/N: Considering his perspective on certain things, it seems like he may not exactly be a guangchou native. And well, as far as his whole falling up thing, I kind of envision it as the spy apparatus knowing him and his aspirations, but keeping him around cause he is too good to actually dispose without him actually betraying the country. Quite short though...

While there is much truth in such rumors and intel, they are wrong.
He's so good at failing upward not by being competent but by making everyone above him seem incompatible and stupid by comparison
