Just a couple months. Her name's Aster." The woman smiled, and it lifted some of the strain from her features. "Like the flower." She seemed about to say more, but a sudden giggle drew both their attentions. Sunny was crouched in front of the stroller, and every few moments she'd pop her head up to look at the baby, then crouch down again, out of sight. Aster, for her part, was fascinated. Sunny popped up again, and the baby blew a spitbubble at her. Sunny chuffed.
It should surprise no one that The Mother of us all would stop to aid one of her daughters with her child.

That the daughter is question was occasionally known as 'Purity' was just a convenient bonus.

It's guerrilla civic improvement! They'd thank you, really! Tell them you're on a mission from God!
I can see Danny trying to convince Taylor to stop what she's doing before the Protectorate catches her, only to be rebuffed with "They're not gonna catch me. I'm on a mission from doG."

It's said that Sunny's urge to ship Taylor with a nice boy grew three sizes that day....
"Not until I'm at least 18."

"Bark!"

"I don't care that I'm 105 in dog years."

"She gets a ban, you get a ban, everyone gets a ban!!"
While I certainly don't mind people migrating over here from SB, if the impetus driving it is shitposters getting infracted for their spam then I am very much not in favor of it. There is a reason my sig at SB is just "STOP SHITPOSTING." No content unfunny sadsack shitfucks *grumble grumble grumble*

Okay, I can sort of see where the confusion between "Amy" and "Ammy" comes from. In some ways they are very similar. Spelled almost the same. They both help a lot of people. One of them is a bitch, the other one is a female wolf. Otherwise, they couldn't possibly be more different. Ammy is a benevolent diety who loves everybody, while Amy is a miserable little gremlin.

And i understand that totally, but in this case the mods were taking an 'unhealthy' amount of interest in the thread. Even UnwelcomeStorm was like what the heck? Really , they were punishing for things that were fine on other threads, and ruining the mood.

I read their posts in the SB thread, and it sounds like they're planning on ramping up on all the threads like that, with Constellations getting hit first because of it's extreme visibility and excessive traffic. I bet they're planning on working their way through all of the obvious threads like that, although how visible they are while doing so will vary depending on the content of the threads that they review, so sightings of them will likely be biased.

That what gets me, it felt way to extreme and must be distressing to an author to have mods come in stomping down that way.

Yet, ASH, the most over inflated shit posting thread in CW, gets ignored. Its gone 20 pages in like 2 days since the last update. Seemed like a better place to start if they wanted to make an example and flex their e-peen.

ASH? Kind of want to look at it before I make any judgements. Otherwise, I guess I'm done with this topic, since it isn't really relevant right now.

A Skittering Heart. Great story, but the thread between chapters is like a runaway train that goes off topic with completely random stuff. It can be upwards of like 70 pages between updates. There is something like 23 chapters and a maxed out 1500 page thread.

What's the 1671 mean?

Kittens for Amy (or Brandish, whatever)! Why don't stories do that more often?
I'm not quite sure what makes people like my post so much, but thanks, I guess?

Victoria would either use it as an excuse to break up with Dean or accidentally collateral damage it through a wall.
Why "either"? I can easily imagine her breaking up with Dean because of the kitten and then throwing it at him, hitting a wall.

Things that are fine in typical threads get really obnoxious in a thread with 300+ people. Shitposting is one of those things. This isn't an entirely new policy; they did something similar with Ryuugi's last thread for The Games We Play (highly recommended, by the way).

It's a stupid gimmick, too.

Omake: That Guy Who Mugs Skitter
I now have a mental image of Armsmaster doing a full on, arched back, noises from the pits of hell cat hiss... in the middle of the Protectorate cafeteria.
Now I'm imagining Armsmaster with the Neko-Ken.

Also, reposting this here for those who don't read the SB thread:
Omake:
The Guy Who Mugs Skitter In Every Fic

With a *pop*, he found himself in another unfamiliar alley, looking out at another unfamiliar gloomy street, as a very familiar figure (the red and white outfit was new, though) walked past. Following the compulsion, he stepped out and shouted "GIMMIE ALL YOUR MONEY!"

The girl blinked at him, and he waited to see what new hell she would unleash upon his defenseless self. But she made no move to attack. Instead, there was a soft 'chuff' from behind him, and he slowly, reluctantly turned around.

A huge wolf stared at him, and he winced, preparing for the mauling. But it never came. Instead, the creature stepped around him and followed the girl as she walked away, glancing back at him from time to time. The looks it gave seemed almost... pitying.

Could it be, he wondered. Could the guardian have seen he was not doing this of his own free will, and spared him? Was he finally going to be able to walk away from one of these encounters with his body and dignity intact?

"彼は巫女を攻撃しました! あいつを捕まえろ!"

No, of course not, he thought as he turned to face the gang of angry ABB thugs. He hated his life.

Very well, for those of you on mobile phones:

The number in the post is the number of the post. And now everyone will know that. Forever. Unless you don't read this, in which case I will laugh at your ignorance. But not forever, since I need to pause for breath, and to explain the joke.

It's a stupid gimmick, too.
It's also a useful one, since it allows authors (and some of their fans) to advertise their work. Or it can be used as part of a simple pranking system, as I have done here :)

Definitly a 'take it or leave it' sort of thing though.
