If Danny isn't Chessman, he's being a complete ass. If he is Chessman, he's handling things very poorly.

I can understand on an intellectual level if you're so depressed you just can't handle anything at all. But if you've got the motivation to go and fight crime, you should reserve some for talking to your daughter. Ironically, Danny is now in a position to sway the PRT and Protectorate in Taylor's favor at school in a way that completely trumps Shadow Stalker, but he's not interested enough in his daughter who was nearly bullied to death to find out if it needs doing.

You're a parahuman with superpowers working for the Protectorate and you can't get your daughter into Arcadia? Seriously?

You think it would be policy now that you pointed it out. Seems like it be too easy for one of the villains who don't go with the unwritten rules to kidnap a child and have leverage over your cape. So put them in the school with the best security.

I suppose his reasonning is like this:

That sounds more like something Brandish would do.

Which reminds me, Ammy needs to use Bloom on Bitch and Flashbang. In that order 'cause Rachel needs to learn how to human it may not work as well on Flashbang.

Speaking of Bitch, I just remembered that her power works better on wolves, resulting in superwolves that get modified better and faster and aren't nearly as disgusting to look at. I think I know what Ammy will do when an Endbringer comes to town.

So why did Emma lose it when she saw Taylor doing calligraphy? It didn't strike me as being that special, at least as far as Emma would be concerned.

There are a number of pithy comments I could make in response to this but that's a fast track to infraction-ville (and in bad taste besides), alas.

Instead, I will say that Emma must be triggered something fierce by a mass of Asians and by Taylor doing something Oriental and she deserves our pity and understanding.

and she deserves our pity and understanding.
Deserves it? Yeah, probably. Kind of hard to though when I'm almost in the same boat as
HA! I barely have enough empathy to spare on my day-to-day life
this guy and our introduction to her was primarily by a girl that she had betrayed and systematically tortured in nearly every way for a year and a half after.

Just a bit of bias working against her.

The fact that that person exists means she probably doesn't deserve many positive emotions from those who know the things.

I am going to rant for a minute, I just realized how ridiculous it is for Oni lee to lose his personalty because of degradation through copying a copy again and again. If this were true then his symptoms would be similar to Alzheimer but still be able to feel and stuff albeit in a very confused manner. So in conclusion this must be shard based limit where if the shard wanted to it could of done a perfect copy without defects. i know it was obvious to you guys but for me it was something i just realized after reading this fic.:p

I've always thought about it the way that, He doesn't actually know if the clones he creates are fully conscious, so at any moment he could dissolve into dust and die.
That sort of thinking is likely not at all healthy, and likely only made worse by shard shenanigans.
