Asunaro is within the same prefecture as Mitakihara, which is Kanagawa's 19th prefecture (a fictional prefecture containing Mitakihara, Kazamino, Shirome, and Asunaro). So it's not too terribly far away, probably no more than two hours by train to reach the far end of Asunaro from where we are.
Your enemies have approached the Church. Two in front, with a third standing by atop the roof of a nearby building, servants present for all of them. Assuming Oriko's intel is correct, that puts them at a disadvantage of six against fourteen. Your enemies are either incredibly confident in their odds, or they're incredibly stupid. Or both. They apparently have a way to hide from her precognition until they want to be seen, so the chance that this is a trap is suddenly on the table.
"Well, aren't you going to let them in?" Nurse Ortensia asks. "The Church is supposed to be a neutral party in event of a Grail War, and they have approached you inside a church. The least you can do is hear them out."
You shoot Nurse Ortensia a glare. You know she knows better than to insinuate that the Church actually cares about remaining neutral; but as long as these girls don't know that, there's no reason not to use that to your advantage. "What does everyone think?" you ask to no teammate in particular. "Should we agree to meet with them?"
"Meet with'em?" Kyouko asks. "Fuck that. After that that one bitch did ta Mami, they're lucky I don't go out there and knock their block off right now."
"While I appreciate the sentiment, Sakura-san, your emotions are misplaced." Kyouko cocks an eye towards Tomoe-san, who adds "We're in a War. I don't have a problem fighting these girls, but petty vengeance is just going to get in the way of our objectives. They're offering a diplomatic solution, and we should take that before resorting to violence."
Kirika crosses her arms. You're sure she's just as eager to seek revenge for the harm done to Oriko last night, too; "And if diplomacy fails?"
"Then we'll have no choice. But if we're going to fight, then it needs to be with a level head and a clear path to victory. Letting our emotions get in the way of that will only trip us up." Tomoe-san's eyes flit over to Hitomi, and then to Nurse Ortensia. "We've got two teammates who can't take as much punishment as we can. If we trip up, it could just as easily fall on their heads as it could our own." By the look in her eyes, HItomi is only just now realising what she's gotten heself into. "Don't worry, Shizuki-san, we're not going to let anything happen to you. Nor you, Nurse Ortensia."
"We should meet them outside," Oriko says. "If they decide to attack us after they've left, it'll be easier for us to get out of the way and counterattack if we aren't confined."
"You think that could be a possibility?" You can't blame Tomoe-san for asking; you yourself were thinking this could be a trap.
"We shouldn't rule it out." You cross your arms and stare at the door; as if you could see through the flame-ravaged wood to your enemies waiting on the other side. "Alright. We'll go out and meet them. I'm sure they're getting anxious waiting for us to make up our minds." You turn to face your teammates, adding "Hitomi, stick close to Kyouko. She'll keep you safe." At least, you hope she'll keep Hitomi safe, and won't run off to attack one or more of the Saints while their servants are still unknown. "Nurse Ortensia, you should stick close to Oriko as well. I know you've got experience, but-"
"-But I'm a bit more prone to dying than my cousin is," Nurse Ortensia says., cutting you off. "You should be more concerned with yourself than with me. I don't have anything they're after the way you do."
"I'll keep that in mind."
You take a deep breath, and open the doors. Your enemy is waiting. "Took you long enough," says the one wearing so much pink she could easily rival Madoka. Her arms are crossed over her chest, holding between them a teddy bear? "We were starting to think you wouldn't come."
"That's enough, Mirai," says the other one. Her short, white hair frames a face wearing a stern expression, but it fades as she finishes chiding the other girl. "Excuse her. She has a bit of a temper, but she means well." Her eyes, one of which is hidden behind a monocle, pan over your and your team. "I see you've got a full compliment of seven. That's good. Our seventh will be arriving later tonight."
"You came all this way just to tell us that?" Kirika barks. Based on their appearances - long, curly pink hair and a frilly pink dress; and short, white hair, a monocle, and a deep red military-style outfit - you can guess that they're the ones she and Oriko fought last night. "I should break you where you stand for hurting Oriko last night."
"People get hurt in wartime," the white-haired girl - Asami Saki, if you remember what Hijiri Kanna said her name was - says. "If you can't deal with that, we're more than willing to accept your Soul Gem as a token of your surrender."
"Now hold on," Oriko says, cutting Kirika off before she has the chance to become volatile. "You were the ones who invaded our territory first. We're not going to just roll over and let you take our Soul Gems to do with them as you please. You've got another thing coming if that's how you think."
"Playing dumb won't save you. You girls know what you've done." Asami Saki crosses her arms over her chest. "But I suppose it makes sense for the homunculus to have told you that much. In addition to handing over your Soul Gems, we'd appreciate if you would also hand her over as well. She's seen some things she shouldn't have."
"And what? You're going to get rid of her as well? If that's your plan, then she was right to run away from you."
Asami Saki stares at Oriko. Whatever emotions are roiling inside of her in that moment, she keeps under wraps. "In any event, we only came here tonight to deliver this." With a polite bow, she presents a sealed envelope. You and Tomoe-san look to one another, before she gives you permission to take it with a nod of her head. You do so, and as soon as your eyes have lain upon the message within, Asami Saki says "With that declaration, our two sides are officially at war." She turns her head, once left, once right, saying "Mirai, Saber, let's get out of here," before turning her back on your party of fourteen.
"You too Rider," Wakaba Mirai says, before turning to follow Asami Saki. Beside them, you can see the faint outline of their servants for a brief moment before their figures flicker out of view. They were tall, imposing mountains of masculinity, each one shrouded by a long, flowing cape; a dark blue-violet for the one beside Asami Saki, and a pale, sandy off-white for the one beside Wakaba Mirai. Your first glimpse of the enemy Saber and Rider servants, and you have no idea who either of them are.
"Hold on," you call out to them. "You can't just barge in here, declare we're at war, and then leave without ever giving us a chance to have a discussion about this. That's not how diplomacy works."
"You're right," Asami Saki says, stopping in her tracks. She turns back around to face you, saying "Our demands are simple. Hand over your Soul Gems and the homunculus. If you can do that, we'll leave without making a fuss. Don't, and there will be consequences."
"You know we can't do that," you say. Handing over your Soul Gems would be a death sentence, and handing over Hijiri Kanna after she fled to Mitakihara would be a breach of her trust in you. "Besides, not all of our masters are puella magi; and if the same holds true for your side as well-" Hijiri Kanna only mentioned the Pleiades Saints having six members, so if they've recruited a seventh, chances are good that their seventh isn't a puella magi either. "-then I want there to be a way for a master to leave the fighting if they wish. In addition, I need to know if you're going to leave the uninvolved out of the fighting or not."
"Funny how you think you have any ground to stand on when making demands," Wakaba Mirai says. "We could just as easily kill you all here and now. We didn't need to mess around delivering some stupid declaration of war to you."
"All we want are your Soul Gems. Anyone on your side who doesn't have a Soul Gem doesn't matter to us." When you are unable to give Asami Saki what she wants, she and Wakaba Mirai once again turn to leave. As your enemies walk away, you hear the voice of Asami Saki say "Satomi, have Archer level the church." Kyouko's eyes go wide at that proclamation, and Oriko barely has time to bring up a barrier as a wave of green arrows rain down from above and reduce the Sakura Church to rubble. "This is a war of extermination," Asami Saki says. "There will be no neutral ground between us."
Kyouko doesn't waste a second, changing into her puella magi costume before Tomoe-san can cry out "Sakura-san, wait!" Kyouko has drawn her spear and charged at the enemy. Tomoe-san sighs, shaking her head to say "I guess we don't have a choice, then."

The leader of the Pleiades Saints and master of their Saber servant. Asami Saki's magic gives her the power to use electricity in combat. So far, little else is known about her.
Asami Saki's right hand, second-in-command of the Pleiades Saints, and master of their Rider servant. Wields a magic sword and can use fire magic. Very pink, very temperamental.
Hopefully this will shock some participation out of the gallery. We've met our enemies and gotten a sneak preview of their servants, and now Kyouko's gone and done something stupid. Better hope we don't die!
Some part of me wants to let Kyouko get tambourined, but I know that ultimately that would be poor decision.
If it were up to me, I would pull from what I've learned from the Bansenshukai and my knowledge of Oda Nobunaga and go scorched earth on the Pleiades since they've spat on the concept of honor, leaving them with no safe ground and limiting their options while also setting up large defenses over Mitakihara, but... crap, we're supposed to be the good guys. I guess pulling an Oda Nobunaga at Mount Hiei wouldn't fit that.
I don't know who we should send where yet, but considering it a bit, Hitomi should probably join battle with someone else; she doesn't have combat experience, and her Saber is degraded from low mana. Same with Caren too, probably, though Caren has the benefit of a Servant at full power and probably lots of combat experience.
I don't suppose we can just have Archer pull them and all of us into Unlimited Blade Works and then kill them while they are completely cut off from the rest of their team?

I looked around the Wiki and couldn't find any Saber or Rider Servants who fit the descriptions and I doubt SVS would make it that easy for us. It would be a little too easy if we could just check the wiki every time a new Servant is introduced.
As your enemies walk away, you hear the voice of Asami Saki say "Usagi, have Archer level the church." Kyouko's eyes go wide at that proclamation, and Oriko barely has time to bring up a barrier as a wave of green arrows rain down from above and reduce the Sakura Church to rubble. "This is a war of extermination," Asami Saki says. "There will be no neutral ground between us."
Now? Now let's fucking burn them to the ground. They have, at least implicitly threatened Madoka. UBW, Time Stop, and then Kirika and us go to town on them.

Hmm, apparently we've done something we don't know we've done. Maybe we shouldn't burn them to the ground, just in case we need information fomr them about what it is we've done that we don't know we've done.
We have no idea who the enemy's servants are or what they're capable of, and I've already shown that I have no qualms about making new servants or tweaking existing ones to suit my needs. What's stopping me from having made a servant that can screw timestop on the chance we figured out a way to restore Homura's magic? You can't assume you'd have something in the bag when you know next to nothing.
I don't think we have any need to be "good guys" to the Saints at this point. They've destroyed Kyoko's church and threatened us all. We show them no mercy, except for probably not killing them if we don't absolutely have to.
Well yeah, but the point I was trying to make is that I was restraining my overwhelming urge to vote for scorched earth tactics and bomb the f*** out of all of Asunaro to fight the Saints.

While I'm at it, I feel like I should remind you all that Unlimited Blade Works requires an 8 verse poem to activate. Probably shouldn't do that without giving Archer an adequate buffer zone, and we should probably wait for a better opportunity before we reveal Archer's big trump card and change the Pleiades' Rules of Engagement to counter this.

Besides, Mirai has flame magic, and not teddy bear animation like in the original manga. That doesn't mean it doesn't exist, I'm just pretty sure it's less likely.

Mirai wields a staff with an elaborate heart-shaped design on the end, with which she can cast fire magic. This staff can be transformed into a gigantic sword
Similar to what I did in the previous quest, I haven't really changed* the powers or abilities of any of the Saints. Instead, I've amped their power level up and made their abilities fit within the rules of the joined universes. Like Hijiri specifically being a homunculus (something that exists in the TN-verse) and not just a generic "I made a replacement human" like she was in the manga.
*At least not their core abilities. There are instances where they have abilities they didn't have in the manga, but nothing that doesn't synergise with their existing abilities in a natural way. You might, however, see instances where one ability is highlighted while another is toned down if I thought doing that would make for a more coherent and compelling power set.
Good point. But that doesn't mean we can't immediately burn it to the ground once we do find it exists. Or take my scorched earth tactics from earlier and hunt down the homes of each Saint and then immediately burn down all of their domiciles. I want to induce suffering. Argh! Fight! I need to focus on what comes next! Okay, temporary plan. Do as you will with it; ignore it, expand upon it, whatever.

My logic is that Kirika and Lancelot are good front-liners, and Kyoko is front-lining pretty hard right now. Mami and Gilgamesh are good counter-snipers.
That's fair, but at least it was usually just weapon + magic power. The Saints weapons sometimes transform or do other things and lets not even get started on Hijiri's power.

Is there any reason to only send 2 squads out? I understand not wanting to over-extend because this could be a trap but we should take every single advantage we can get. Besides there's no way it's only these 3 here.
