Ok he has a whole damn planet of players to rampage across the multiverse he's starting to reach the level of not just staying alive in 40k but maybe wining in such a setting.

Good chapter thanks

Man.... a lot to unpack here, hahaha. I love it.

It seemed like a good time to introduce 'Dungeons' to his people.

I gotta say, I did not see this coming last chapter (apparently forgot to actually make my reply then, lmao... it was still in my quote list)

Furthermore, it would allow Simmy to include some basic powers for every agent, such as 'Bind: Team', 'Harmony: Communication', 'Transfer:Construct Node' and 'Transfer: Recall'.

Soooo.... Party System, Chat System, Fast Travel System, and Hearthstones. Good choices :)

Double Simmy, YAY. How about your turn this one into a Succubus/Devil lookalike so you have an angel and devil on each shoulder?

:rofl: Oh man, please let this happen. Simmy 2needs a 'Devil Mercy' costume.

Soul Space will also store backups of memories and body scans, allowing the healing methods of OTHER system users to be even more powerful and less risky to use.

Sounds like an opening for clerics to get resurrection spells, too :p I mean hey, shards can do it Ward, so why not?

Overall.... damn, this is making me really want to embark on writing some kind of omake series, with some of my OC's just going on quests.

A few years ago, I actually wrote about 10-ish chapters of an original fiction piece based around several themes found in a number of superhero webserials. It was set in a setting much like Worm, but with a far less darker (though still occasionally tense) tone.

Sadly I never got around to continuing it or publishing what I'd written for it, but I still think back on it regularly. And being a semi-tribute to Worm and other works, the primary cast would fit right in to a Worm setting.

Jason, aka Heirophant, who's effectively a D&D druid in outward appearance, albeit not in direct power function. He'd be considered a major grab-bag.

Alyssa, aka Astraea, who is like a mix between Lady Photon and Brandish - has force fields / lasers / hardlight weapons & armor / etc, with a light & darkness theme.

Xavier, aka Spectre, who has a phasing power that'd be described as a mix between Shadow Stalker and Shadowcat - not ghost-form like Stalker and more like Kitty, but can also affect objects he's touching or using, like Sophia can. And people, like Kitty does.

Liam, aka Siren, who is almost exactly a gay-dude version of Canary, even down to being a professional singer, although his power has some minor differences in potential uses and is weaker in terms of being able to consciously break free.

And finally Kera, aka Chimaera, who in Worm terms is a case 53 (without the mem-loss), who ended up with a fairly monstrous dragon-girl type body alongside fairly strong, bestial instincts that cause her to be emotionally swingy, with a particular emphases on anger / beserk mode when things go bad.

They're also all vial capes. Cauldron doesn't have an in Chimaera, at least not in terms of the role they play in Worm, but there is a group making power vials, which a group of friends stumbled across in a deal-gone-wrong, and decided to steal for themselves. (Not unlike the Travelers.... kinda)

But yeah... I could totally use them for an omake series where they're actually people from Adam's Bet, who decide to go adventuring in Taylor's Realm to help out various groups. Would be fun to explore the dimensions in the years prior to Ward, especially with a System that effectively heads off all the fucked up shit that happens in it.

What's funny is that Taylor has basically more info on sex and mating habits of humanoids than she had ever dreamed possible, but still no practical experience.
She's gonna make someone VERY happy in the future if she applies all that knowledge!

QA is all set to live through Taylor. She's just curious about this whole sex/reproduction thing that she has exabytes of data on and would love some actual first-hand data gathering.
[Hey my human, be a buddy and start buddin'!]

I can't wait for Lisa to start reading this Taylor. Nah, doubt it would be possible.
Lisa would be able to gather very little data from this Tay, considering her "reading" works off Shard connections AND reading subconscious tics / subtle movements.
This Tay has PERFECT control over her own body.
All Lisa will get is "Has perfect control over body"

EDIT: And if Lisa's shard is able to ping QA there will be another thing:
"Basically - run."

Not even close. The Chaos Gods have a literal Galaxy worth of Sentients emotions to empower them, a single planet of Faith is just a drop in the bucket to them. Adam has a long way to go before risking drawing the attention of someone on that level. He might nearly be at the level where he can do a pop-in pop-out type of visit somewhere in the vicinity of the Tyrannid as the Shadow-in-the-Warp should mask his presence enough to avoid attracting the attention of the Chaos Gods, various Daemons, the few non-chaos gods that seem to be a thing in 40k (looking at you and your silly space-elf worshippers Khaine), Etc. Maybe.

Still, you are vastly underestimating the level of Bullshit involved in 40k. It won't be safe for more than a quick in-out visit for quite a while I suspect...

There's a whole shit-ton of gods in 40k. Although most of them are dead or nonfunctional or MIA.

The Necrons have their own set - the C'tan, who.... I dunno, while maybe not technically gods I'd say they probably are on par with being gods. I mean, they're both primordial and etheric in nature, and immensely powerful and devour stars, so I'd say they count. They do crop up from time to time though, usually in some kind of prison-cum-power-plant setup.

One could count the Old Ones, too... as they're the enemy of the C'tan, and were nearly immortal and were responsible for creating a whole mess of the 40k races. (Well, OK, I think that may no longer be strictly canon, but meh). Supposedly they're the Brain Boyz of the Orks.

Also the Orks have Gork and Mork as gods, who definitely exist in the Warp, although I gather they're less... corporeal, I guess, than the Chaos Gods.

There's also far more than just Kaine (who frankly is almost as bad as Khorne in terms of trying to fuck up the universe) in the Eldar pantheon, too, though most of them are all dead: Cegorach, Isha, Asuryan, Vaul, Kurnous, Lileath, and Morai-heg. Plus there's the new, actually functioning one, Ynnead.

And obviously, since I'm sitting here naming them all just because I'm procrastinating, if anyone wants to know the Chaos Gods are: Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle, and Tzeench.

There's also some... apocryphal Chaos Gods, largely because of dump copyright bs. These are all renegade Chaos Gods who've cropped up in books and comics, and you occasionally see references for weapons / miniatures / armies / etc, which hint at them without actually saying such. They are: Malice (aka Malal), Zuvassin, and Nucoso.

And then there's the Emperor, who... kinda counts (Heresy, I know). I mean, he's up there at least, and is immortal and his mind spans the galaxy, so... yeah. Oh, and there's the Omnissiah, but afaik he's/it is not actually 'real', and many Techpriests simply consider him to be an aspect of the Emperor.

..... and that's all I can think of. There might be more. I also dunno if the T'au or the Kroot have their own or now, as I know next to nothing about them. In Fantasy there's also the Skaven's Horned Rat, but even though there's a few Skaven-ish creatures that crop up in 40k, afaik they aren't actually Skaven and the Horned God isn't a thing there. And well, there's Nuffle from the Blood Bowl version, but he's just a gag :p

I was only counting the gods that could actually be interacted with as they are the only ones that would cause a threat to Adam, of which there are very few.
The Necrons have their own set - the C'tan, who.... I dunno, while maybe not technically gods I'd say they probably are on par with being gods. I mean, they're both primordial and etheric in nature, and immensely powerful and devour stars, so I'd say they count.
I mean these guys are definitely a threat but I'd say they're more a dark twist on your classic StarTrek style Non-Corporeal Energy Beings than Gods per se. They are definitely powerful enough to be called God-like in power, but the word God-like pretty much exists for cases like this - powerful enough to be considered a god but not actually divine.
I view these guys and the whole "War-in-Heaven" as a dark twist on your classic Clarke's Third Law Pecursors trope. They are definitely again, God-like and the younger races certainly worshipped them to an extent but I see this as more Ancestor Worship/Advanced Aliens Inspiring Mythology than a sign of true divinity.
Also, the Orks have Gork and Mork as gods, who definitely exist in the Warp, although I gather they're less... corporeal, I guess, than the Chaos Gods.
Gork and Mork are a bit of a fuzzy area for me. I mean they certainly exist but the Orks have that whole WAAAGH! thing going on that literally warps reality and makes things they thing should be real/happen become an observable phenomenon. Like from memory half their tech doesn't actually work - their belief that it work just kinda makes it chug along anyway despite the impossibility of it to the point it falls apart when non-Greenskin tries to use it.

There is a non-zero chance that Gork and Mork are basically just personifications of the WAAAGH! itself, avatars of it brought forth by the Greenskins collective belief in them. But even if this was true it is still the belief in them makes them real just not in the same way as every other god in the cosmology. They are like an alternative techtree with the same endpoint. As such I regularly seesaw back and forth whether they count in my books or not. It is heavily implied that the Orks were basically engineered by the Old Ones to "I do believe in fairies" phenomeneon into existence as a weapon so it muddies the issue a little for me...
There's also more than just Kaine (who frankly is almost as bad as Khorne in terms of trying to fuck up the universe) in the Eldar pantheon, too, though most of them are all dead: Cegorach, Isha, Asuryan, Vaul, Kurnous, Lileath, and Morai-heg. Plus there's the new, actually functioning one, Ynnead.
Dead gods aren't exactly a threat so I intentionally left slain deities out and from memory, the lore seems to imply that Ynnead is either slumbering or flat out trapped within collective Infinity Circuits of every Craftworld and that it hasn't ever manifested itself, so it isn't exactly a threat or going to be antagonistically interventionist like Chaos would
And obviously, since I'm sitting here maing them all just because I'm procrastinating, if anyone wants to know the Chaos Gods are: Khorne, Slaanesh, Nurgle, and Tzeench. There's also some... apocryphal Chaos Gods, largely because of dump copyright bs. These are all renegade Chaos Gods who've cropped up in books and comics, and you occasionally see references for weapons/miniatures/armies/etc, which hint at them without actually saying such. They are: Malice (aka Malal), Zuvassin, and Nucoso.
I named the Chaos Gods as a group on purpose - cause I was including the of dubious canonicity ones in that banner - though to be far I have only ever actually encounter Malal myself in the lore. The other 2 are news to me.
And then there's the Emperor, who... kinda counts (Heresy, I know). I mean, he's up there at least and is immortal and his mind spans the galaxy, so... yeah.
Yeah, the Emperor is just plain weird. 'Nuff said.
Oh, and there's the Omnissiah, but afaik he's/it is not actually 'real', and many Techpriests simply consider him to be an aspect of the Emperor.
I've also heard it speculated that the Omnissiah, the Void Dragon (sometimes referred to as The Dragon, though its proper name is Mag'ladroth) and the Dragon of Mars are in fact the same being, which would make the majority of the Adeptus Mechanicus unknowing heretics who are worshipping a C'tan.

Basically the crux of this theory goes that since no C'tan Shard of the Void Dragon has yet been encountered, and it is possible that the Void Dragon has remained whole through the eons and its essence was never captured within the Necrons' Tesseract Labyrinths. (A truly terrifying prospect for the galaxy if this entity were to awaken.)

There may be a connection between this entity and the Dragon of Mars, as it is said that the Dragon of Mars is an ancient, exceedingly powerful entity that is currently imprisoned in the Noctis Labyrinth on Mars. The Dragon of Mars was supposedly defeated in combat by the Emperor on ancient Terra and later imprisoned under the surface of Mars. It has remained there for millennia, its influence affecting the inhabitants of that planet and leading to the creation of the Adeptus Mechanicus. Additionally, The Dragon of Mars is described as having many qualities which could indicate that it is one of the C'tan, these include:
  • The Dragon of Mars once lived in space, between the stars. (Unclear whether this info comes from the Akasha, the Warp, the Dragon's memories or Semyon.)
  • The Guardian Semyon asks Dalia whether "the others" have already devoured all the stars - possibly a reference to the C'tan and their star-eating tendencies.
  • Dalia recognizes the Dragon of Mars as an incredibly old, powerful and exotic life-form which "had brought entire civilisations into existence and then snuffed them out on a whim" - this could be interpreted as a reference to the C'tans' relationship with the Necron/Necrontyr race.
  • In the memories of the Dragon of Mars it is said that he waged war against his own kind, which left him in a weakened state, so he hid on Terra. - this could possibly refer to the older canon materials which state that the C'tan warred amongst themselves (or post-ret-con the Necron uprising against the C'tan).
  • In the description of the Dragon it is stated that his breast shone with the light of the stars he had devoured - possibly a reference to the C'tans' role as star devouring entities.
  • During his fight with the Emperor, the Dragon's scales are described as being silver in colour, harder than steel and yet rippling like liquid mercury when struck hard enough - this is very similar to the Necrodermis which the C'tan's bodies were made from.
  • The Codex: Necrons (3rd edition) relates a conversation between Abaddon and the Daemon Hrangore, where an entity dwelling in the Noctis Labyrinth is described - although few details are given, the simple fact that this is in the Necron Codex would certainly imply a connection.
  • The same Codex also describes an assault on Mars by a Necron fleet, although their intention is unknown it does imply a connection between the Necrons and Mars.
So yeah, there is a non-zero chance that the Omnissiah is, in fact, an actual thing and an unsundered and whole C'tan to boot...

New Players!
Legend sighed, more paperwork having been placed on his desk.

Somehow, the fact that even in this time of crisis paperwork could thrive... how depressing.

He looked up at the assistant as he entered. "Yes?"

The man looked more than a bit awkward. "Sir, a group claiming to be dimensional adventurers are asking permission to raise a prayer totem altar to connect to their Deity and allow reinforcements to arrive."

Legend groaned into his desk, laying limp on the wood surface. "We have multiple planets lacking food, clean water, and building supplies. How do they keep finding alcohol!?"

His assistant shuffled. "Personally I find it more than a little believable at this point."

The last Triumvirate gave the man a dry look. "Any particular reason?"

The guy shrugged. "Aside from their odd powers, they have documentation signed by their version of Rebecca Costa-Brown that matches known security codes. And one of the party members looks like the twin of a hero I KNOW died during Golden Morning."

With barely a pause, Legend shoved the paperwork off his desk as he strode after his assistant.

Either this was an impossible event or it was a Master Parahuman attempting to stage a trap... either way, it was more important than paperwork.

~~~Broken Adventure~~~
Taylor frowned. "Adam, I think your design system is broken."
He looked up from his own tinkering. "How so?"
She pushed the holographic screen his way, tapping on some buttons. "Some of the Quests I put up went missing. Watch, I'll put in the Quest to discover coal deposits again."
Adam hummed as the line item barely showed up before vanishing. "No, it is operating as intended."
Her frown deepened. "How on Earth is THIS useful!? I can't flesh out my ideas if things disappear every few seconds."
He shrugged. "Well what do you expect? After the Quest is accepted, it can't stay around cluttering things up. I guess I can leave a log of who is attempting which task... Good idea Taylor, this could help with documentation."
She blinked. "Wait, why would that matter? Until we go live, testing shouldn't even really be involved yet."
He shook his head. "Nah, I'm a busy guy. I activated our changes several hours ago. Team 'Avenging Apples' found the local leadership fifteen minutes ago and set up more than a few of my 'Transfer Node' altars, so the amount of Adventurers able to access and accept quests have gone up a lot by now."
Taylor's hands were frozen over the interface apparently controlling the actions of thousands of teams from another reality as Adam continued to ramble on. "Plus side, your version of Legend is now able to communicate to the leaders of my Realm and has been adding Quests to the new DA Questing System. Not just requests for resources or extra work forces, but he added many people to the 'Contacting people of interest' page."
Adam continued to modify stuff as the woman stared at him. "Yeah, your Legend was having issues organizing the Heroes spread out over all the various Earths right now, finding people, verifying who is where and what not."
Taylor watched Adam suddenly brighten up. "HA! Dragon and Narwhal have basically reformed our Guild into the base of the new DA Guild! Neat! And it means that I don't have to waste time finding people to run the thing. Man, this was a great idea."
She grit her teeth. "And my quests? Were there any results yet?"
Adam blinked. "Didn't you check your inbox?"
Taylor growled even as she exited 'Developer mode'... and saw the blinking email icon. Apparently Alerts were disabled during development of a LIVE INTERDIMENSIONAL FAITH BASED QUESTING SYSTEM.
Her finger hesitated though. Fears old and recent made the act of pressing such a simple button feel like she was actively hurting her people... that if she just ignored it, they wouldn't be hurt or dead.
But fear never held her back before.
With gritted teeth, she opened her notifications and forced calm as she methodically read each item.
Her father lived.
As did Lisa, Rachel, Foil, Aisha, Parian, even Victoria and Amy were alive...
Dragon's status was unknown, but assumed alive from the Quest results.
Brian died during the battle. So did Kid Win.
Clockblocker... might be dead. Something was preventing the Quest from being confirmed as passed away... it was odd.
As the names and results of the massive battle were confirmed, she... well, she wasn't sure how she felt. Then again, she had grown used to pain over the years.
Queen Administrator's hug was welcome though.
She never noticed when she fell asleep, nor when Adam covered her with a thick blanket and wiped away her tears.
But in the arms of her partner, her sleep was dreamless.
~~~Broken Adventure~~~

Adam ensured the air would be warm enough and Taylor's area would be silenced... then sighed as he turned towards his interfaces.

Apparently, the new 'Development Mode' he built disabled message alerts.

Hesitantly... he exited to the main interface.

And winced.

Yeah, he had more than a few messages from his girls. And based on the humor he felt from Simmy right now, it implied that yes, he was probably in trouble.

As he read through each message, seeing the progression from surprise, to concern, to annoyance... to calm 'We will discuss this thoroughly at a later point'. Yeah, he was in trouble.

With a sigh, he began writing a list of answers and reasons... and why was Narwhal talking about rules for including outside couples in the harem!?

~~~Broken Adventure~~~
Legend was unsure how to feel about the situation.
"And sign here, and there... Now confirm that you agree with the terms..."
But honestly, knowing that in his most dire time of need, another option appeared that could potentially save his people...
"No, you need to check those boxes. Cause you want them to include an area assessment of the places you are sending them out to explore. That one too, you want samples when possible."
Well, it was a pleasant surprise.
"Right, that will do it!"
Legend watched as the signed contract was placed on a bone altar, a soft squishy striped doll of some sort of elephant/tiger/thing placed on top.
Then the altar pulsed with blue fire... and the doll had changed color slightly. The altar glowed a bit as well. Creepy.
The leader of the new 'DA Guild Hall' gave a sharp nod. "And there you go! These local quests are now posted to the System, and can be accessed by our members. If any go unaddressed for a period of time, the reward will increase until it hits the limit you listed, then we will contact you if it remains unaccepted by the deadline. We can renegotiate per item at that time."
Legend smiled. "Thank you for guiding me through this... setup. Again."
The man laughed heartily. "No problem! I never got to meet our Legend in person, so this is a bit of neat moment for myself as well. Anyway, my team was specifically picked due to our professions, and my builders need us to give them room to start building the facilities around the altar."
Legend nodded, following the team leader towards the property edge. Thankfully, one thing his people DID have right now was real estate, even if the visitors clearly overpaid for permission to build a temple. And knew it.
It was odd, he thought, to imagine a world where EVERYONE could CHOOSE their powers. Even though it clearly had advantages... watching the 'Storage' users just hand out tools and materials for the Builders to levitate, bind, modify, and more... was like watching an artist preform.
Not sure about the nude blue angel statues though. Maybe it was a cultural thing?
Point being, Legend had been busy coordinating with what government organizations managed to hold together... and the ability to set requests for construction, for healing (SO MANY healers!), for these 'Transfer Nodes'...
Well, the visitors were VERY well received by nearly everyone.
Though the passage WAS a one way affair... no one could transfer back to these visitor's home reality without some sort of mandatory cleaning and conversion process and the approval of some 'Queen Administrator'.
And that name FELT familiar somehow, though it was somewhat hard to place.
It was probably a normal name of not much importance.
Apparently the woman was some sort of local Admin for the System, the contact for people who needed to interact with the other side of the Transfer Node network.
Clearly she was busy getting everything set up, but for some reason Tattletale's reaction to the news had been... a bit off. Not necessarily concerned... but VERY interested. Especially after the Thinker got a hold of the new 'Quest Listing' released by the local Guild Hall facilities.
Legend watched the building rapidly grow as it was constructed. If nothing else, allowing access to the other Earth's without needing Parahuman involvement was a massive benefit to the new tentative relationship with this DA Guild.
~~~Broken Adventure~~~

Adam decided that going home (And facing the music) was a great idea. Eventually.

Any minute now.

But since he HAD to make sure Taylor was alright (Stalling? Whose stalling? YOU'RE stalling!) he decided that this empty Earth, claimed by Queen Administrator anyway, could use some sprucing up. A bit of paint, some curtains, etc. A nice shrubbery.

A quick summon later, and Simmy flashed into existence on the rocky planet, his Faith socket allocated for her use.

Now to get started!

Then she 'Transferred' away.

...Huh.

Bah, he could get this started on his own.

His flesh evaporated as he expanded a bit, his body massive in scale as his skeletal was joined by dozens of skeletal limbs arcing over his back. Constructor beams began building worker drones in batches as Gather was used to clean up the local area. Reality shifted slightly as the ground faded away and new objects began construction.

After a few dozen assistant drones were formed, they were sent off to smooth down this rock. Any material would be used to make even more drones, until they reached around a million or so. That should take a while.

As the floating craft vanished into the air towards various directions, Adam continued some of what he had done back in Remnant: designing and modifying various schematics for cities, farms, commerce centers, and so forth.

Thankfully his 'Temple' for this Realm was designed already, so this place could get a few secured 'Transfer Nodes' crafted easily enough. Thus he could focus on more interesting things! Like how to fiddle about and craft some efficient and hopefully humane animal raising/harvesting methods. Fully automated, without going crazy and raising a sheep army or something. And he would set up a petting zoo, cause petting zoo's were awesome.

Push come to shove, Adam knew that he could cheat and make some meat production machines to support this planet... but he liked animals. Especially baby animals, which were both adorable AND delicious. But mostly adorable.

Probably would be best to raise the oxygen level for people who needed to breathe, or for those without the enhanced lungs of Taylor. And for the future animals as well, those needed less toxic air. The ambient temperature was pretty damn low too, probably due to the damaged atmosphere. Meh, should be easy enough to handle.

Adam sent some orders for the construction of several stupidly large machines on the planetary magnetic poles which would start pumping out some compressed gasses, get things back into working order. It would spawn massive storms and stuff, but the drones should interfere with the worst of those and locally he could keep things safe and quiet easy enough. Eventually the air and temperature should be back within workable zones. Just in case, some temperature adjustment devices would be included near the gas generators. No reason to leave things to chance.

Only a million drones however might take too long... but then again, he hadn't reached the cap yet. So maybe it was fine? Best wait to see what was needed as the changes progressed. He could always make more drones if needed.

He idly watched the sky, drones occasionally flying through his view and distant stars twinkling.

The lack of moon was odd. Should he build a fake one? Would that be too strange? Moons were big too, that would probably take time even with a lot of super advance drones with bizarre advanced beam technology.

He could dump some Dust up there and then smother it in kami. But that could do all kinds of strange crap to reality. Or damage this planet further. Best leave that alone for now.

Adam sighed. Yeah, best hold off on that until he got home and pushed himself closer to the 'sane' side of the spectrum. After all, no one had asked him to fix that moon back on Remnant, why should he go through the hassle of MAKING one here? It would probably cause problems. Somehow.

Meh, if it becomes an issue he could steal a moon from one of these alternate earths with no population. Probably.

Could he even 'capture' something that big? Especially since it wasn't a creature like Mister G. Cause he would feel stupid to go through all that trouble, attempt to consume a moon, and just fail like a wuss.

How much energy would 'Transferring' the moon take? The moon was like... 7.3 something times 10^22 kilograms. That was a lot of material to shove outside of reality. Even without worrying about the gravitational fields and stuff, how much magic/energy/etc did it take to move even a ton with his power?

Cause that was like... 8 times 10^19 tons or whatever. Which was a BIG number.

Maybe he could move it over time? But that would make him stuck here in 'annoying to visit' land for WAY too long. As it was, being so close to home BUT NOT QUITE THERE was causing him some mental issues that seemed to slowly worsen over time.

Clearly visiting alternate versions of realities he already visited would be... tricky. Certainly could not risk long trips to them, in the future. The 'Transfer Nodes' however were helping, it stabilized something inside him that was hard to define, but getting home was still high up on his priority list.

Hmm. Best way to move a moon here, if he didn't want to make one from scratch, would be to find TWO moons, nearly identical. It would be easy enough to sacrifice one massive rock to fuel the magic/energy/whatever to 'Transfer' the other.

And this Realm felt like unlimited levels of pancakes stacked over each other, so he had lots of moons to work with. Theoretically.

Problem was how it all interacted. He hadn't risked opening his senses this wide while in his home Reality, crazy space whales shouldn't be poked after all, and the number of dimensions overlapping had some strange type of interaction between each other. To the point where it felt squishy almost.

Not to the point of naturally forming wormholes or portals or whatever, but the metaphysical weight of one Earth seemed to somehow interact with every other Earth.

It wasn't well defined, not to Adam's slightly distracted consciousness, but it felt like reality was a bit... sticky. Tacky. Velcro-like.

It was why taking THIS moon over here would be easier than taking THAT moon over there, although they looked/seemed/felt like they were near identical, almost interchangeable.

It was odd.

His thoughts were derailed as Simmy popped back in, a floating Angel with multiple wings being dragged along... and then burped.

Adam blinked. Ignoring the local Simurgh, he accepted the note Simmy passed him.

And blinked again. "What do you MEAN you ate the rest!?"

Eating siblings is NOT COOL, MKAY!?

Ummm he is sure she's bound to him right? Then again I'm not sure it matters the entity's for all horrors they unleash were not evil more like insanely uncreative dumb AIs or something considering he's basically the answer to heat death of a universe they might follow him away.

On another note he's giving out super powers collecting data on said powers and sending his agents in to conflict he's basically a entity at this point. All hail ROB overlord of a few random universes.

Truly Adam has become an elderich abomination.... now i kinda want his first meeting with the canon heroes to make him look like an entity/something similar, just to freak them out. Also will the Baku Rangers make an appearance? This realm would be an all you can eat buffet!

With this chapter the system seems to be sounding somewhat like the start to his own version of Yggdrasil and the Ultimate Force, with the questers as his own version of Angels/Gods/Followers.

Im unfamiliar with yggdrasil and the ultimate force, but the whole angels/gods thing brings up an interesting thought. Could Adam make them? Say for example make one who's job was to work with ecosystems, so he doesn't have to work out all the things he needs to make a barren world habitable. Or make one who's job was to deal with the weather, when to rain when not to, when they have to have a massive storm, ECT.

Why bother? Personally, I'd just wait until he hits DxD (We all know he will eventually - the perversion potential combined with high-level conceptual bullshit is too interesting/hilarious not to) and proceed to laugh maniacally as he hacks Gods System through a combination of his Faith-based Abilities and Technomancy and becomes the undisputed new God and Ruler of Heaven - he would get a host of Angels (and probably the ability to make new ones) outta that. No point in bothering to set up the system himself when he can just integrate Gods' system from DxD into his own when he gets around to visiting.

I stopped pretty early on in dxd but from everything I've heard/read the angels were kinda garbage. That true?

Kinda. I mean they are pretty powerful in general in comparison to other settings it is just that DxD has such extremes in power levels that they are pretty garbage compared to the other shit members of Other factions can pull since their powerset is a pretty standard load-out and they don't have many unique power-users running around as say the Pillars of the Underworld (which actually makes sense, they can barely breed in comparison to the Devils/Fallen cause God used to just make new Angels not have them propagate the natural way. They are crap cause they are a race in decline...).

But that is beside the point - they would have access to Adams' system to empower them once he hacked the Throne of Heaven and God's System. Just have the system give unique classes by race and you solve the unique power problem and rebalance the races until the 3 factions are at a true parity with each other. Fix the sex = automatic falling problem somehow - Perhaps have a Karma/Alignment system put in place and have that decide whether you fall and more importantly who has served their time as a fallen and can be accepted back into heaven. Also, make children of Fallen be born normal Angels instead of punishing them for their parents' sins...

Anyway, the point is even if Canon Angels are garbage tier, the whole point of Adam going into a setting is to watch him casually shatter Canon so there is really no reason those Angels have to remain garbage after all is said and done...

That does make a lot of sense. Though I hope he avoids the whole falling in with the devils thing. From what I've seen the devil faction isn't as good as it's shown to be

In AMG, yggdrasil and the ultimate force are sort of the computer that runs the universe. The UF is sort of the automatic process that enforces granting wishes.

Adams system is more tacked on top of reality. It's more like Kumo Desu ga, Nani ka or a bit of Solo Leveling (I Alone Level-Up) with maybe a dash of the Gamer.

I just hope that his system remains flexible and the locals don't end up like the system from Jobless In Another World. That one is interesting in that thief, bandit and similar classes are awarded by the local goddess and that settings magicals have wards so that they aren't allowed in towns.

Just thought of something. Gods system in DxD is more of a prison. It is using various defeated supernatural critters to empower those humans it selects. That God didn't put in any controls to prevent devils or fallen from having/using his scared gears though. The idea of using the entire process as its own from of long term immortal prison is interesting though.

Can you just imagine if he went about implementing a similar punishment system?

Adam needs his girls to rebalance. QA will be excited if he leaves her millions of drones. He keeps on accidentally seducing QA.

The next realm should be one of these 3 in my opinion:
Final Fantasy 8. Sorcery, Para-Magis, Guardian Force and Juntion system would greatly enhance Adam's abilitys. Plus him f@*!ng up an stable time loop would be amusing.
Persona, any. Using his system to awaken Personas would be hilarious for certain people.
Sekirei. The Tamas/SekireiCore would also be a new source of abilities for others if it could be artificially created.
All 3 also has it's comedy moments and has a few potential harem members.

I thought Sekirei was specifically designed for Waifus of various dispositions?
