Adam is DEATH! Well... after he found Discworld and decided to help out... Though his hearing and ability to modulate his voice kinda went out the window so he is always LOUD!

Looking forward to Adam's next Adventure! Maybe in Harry Potter? Maybe Buffy the Vampire Slayer? Stargate SG1?

    Every Arc was in its own way an end... But I admit, I didn't see this one coming and especially didn't expect it to land exactly on April fool's Day.

    I'll still do a bit of grammar checking and spelling issue fixes and all that, and I uploaded this most recent Arc to my backup site, but to be honest Adam's going to be super busy just trying to straighten out where all the various bits of himself have gotten to.

    While I was watching Shadow appear in various places, he stumbled on someone interesting who was dead between realities. I'm considering looking closer at that person and seeing exactly what the heck's going on there. I'm not entirely sure how he got a fractured version of the conceptual System that Adam and his parts have been constructing, but it could be fun!

    Nooooo! Dont let the flame die out! Its been a wide ride and ive enjoyed every second of it <3. Up there with minecraft for something ive stuck with the longest lol. It is hilarious that this chapter comes out april 1st XD
     
    My temporal origin senses were tingling at the end of the last arc when Gem ate the evil bastard. Excellent job, well written!!

    Does this make Adam a Bootstrap Paradox?

    While I was watching Shadow appear in various places, he stumbled on someone interesting who was dead between realities.     I'd be careful of using FF.net as a backup, the Mods there have a ridiculous habit of just deleting stories without informing the author on the flimsiest of reasons, maybe keep a backup on Dropbox, or Google Drive... A site that has pretty good mods and is generally pretty safe for backups is Questionably Questing.

    Also, with this story ending...(at least for now) Does that mean we may see new chapters of Core Threads, or Unlimited Gamer?

    You know I recently encountered a story similar to this one
    If I remember correctly it was called "isekai'D shoggoth"
    Adam and the protagonist Alyssa would get along

    I admittedly didn't expect a self reinforcing loop effect from ofadam

    And I enjoyed this whimsical tale admittedly if for whimsy alone

    Thanks for the journey, I have really appreciated every step of the way. Finished up my third re-read of the story today, and ironically, the story finished today. Gotta love the timing!

    Too be honest, a lot of those deleted stories violate tos, they just finally get noticed. I have no idea how big the mod team for ffn is but currently I am leaning towards not very.
     
    Well, he hasn't stated that the next Arc won't start on Monday. But then, he also hasn't stated that there isn't going to be a break in between.

    Anyways, I imagine that some of the Shadows ended up going to the Bastion-verse, as the Squirts (and the rest of Windbag lifecycle) fit in well appearance-wise. Scumbags themselves are even rather Hungry.

    Another possibility is Gunnerkrigg Court, I mean there's already a character named Shadow there. I'm not even sure what they'd end up doing there, given that its all kinds of weirdness going on over there. Not a finished story there, so something might end up completely changing things around.

    Warframe? never played but read some interesting fanfiction crossovers...
    either way, whenever one of these Arcs ends is like a friggin surge of happiness within me, you can feel a lot of Synesthetic level descriptions from just how awesome the journey was up to this point, look back at the friggin crazy, meandring and interesting twists and turns to all the canon's out there, feel the present weight of all the concepts and memetic load that we stumbled on, communed, refined, and incorporated up to this point, and glance at the possible neverending future of things to possible come...

    I advise an offline copy, a Google Drive's, and in all the major fic sites for gathering more readers, AO3, ff.net, SV, SB's, etc...

    If nothing else, I'll be really glad to start a brand new thread on this forum.

    I had been writing broken adventure for so long that the actual abilities of the website had changed!

    As for the new story, it focuses on a concept that I found intriguing at one point and even read other stories that had similar traits to it that I felt weren't fully flushed out. If you've read my other fragmented stories you might even get a clue about where I'm going with this, but to not spoil anything and give just a general hint...

    I find the idea of absurd specification to be fascinating... And some world breaking abilities come with tiny side notes that should be considered world breaking on their own!

    It's gone to the point where I'm starting to believe that anything enhanced or dedicated towards can be a source of astonishing power or potential... A Canon like example of this can easily be found in one piece, where abilities like springs or string can become conceptually overpowered by someone thinking in a different way.

    I may take a bit to polish the idea before jumping into this thing, mostly so that I don't feel like this becomes a chore but stays a work of imagination and curiosity... After all, it's always been my policy to try and write a story that I enjoy reading, even if it goes places that I didn't expect when I started.

    I would hope you let us know if/when you start this next story? if nothing else, I know I'd likely miss it if you didn't poke us about it ...

    That sounds like any Celestial Forge setup. It would be fitting, considering most of the abilities in a Celestial Forge come from Jumpchains, and, uh, a part of Adam is still a Warehouse.

    Looking forward to you posting this idea then! Broken Adventures is my first story of yours, but looking at FF I actually recognized several titles that I've been meaning to read lol.

    A fractured portion of a Conceptual System that's stood the test in multiple realities and always created strong abilities? Sounds entertaining and out of context *Chaotic Resonance Increases*
