That blew my mind, honestly, but it works similar to how Ẽ̶̩̰̍l̸̡̢̇d̷̹̓ṟ̸̢̛͊ì̶̼t̷͕͛͝c̷̩͒ḩ̷͙͐ ̵̟̬̽̊T̸̜͂́ę̵̝͝x̸̢̧̓t̵̝̦̒ does.
Anyway, I think aiming for 4k+ sized updates 3x a week was causing me to stress out... Not sure if anyone remembers, but originally my goal was to make tiny small updates on a consistent basis, shooting for 2k or so (Potentially less!)... And I think I am going to start there again.
I still remember how I ended up getting caught in a rut with Core Threads, forcing myself to make every update 10-15k long... And I don't want to feel like that again.
All that said, I know where he is now! And I would argue there IS magic there, but I can't prove it. Advanced tech exists though. Also, it is a fun setting! I was originally expecting his
<Censored> was going to steal them both away to avoid the issues of having no identity and income and stuff, but things worked out surprisingly well so far.
That said, it turns out that the
<Still Censored, darn it.> is a world wide organization, which might have been mentioned or implied in the other movies now that I think about it. Which is neat! And unusual, considering that
any organization with American people in fiction tends to be American centric with token people from other nationalities.
I certainly know that modern politics wouldn't support any organization that requires the US to not be 'large and in charge', as it were. Not with the current climate at least. In fact, that was one of the more odd parts of the Avengers universe that confused me...
SHIELD and
SWORD were both American organizations that somehow became global with hidden unknown powerful secret US owners. Oh, and surprise!
Bad guys snuck in/were built in/DESIGNED the damned place.
