Ichigo, previously a case of absurd template stacking, now with that 3.5 template that allows him to split the bodies for even more absurdity! I look forward to seeing how things shape up, and just how crazy will get.

Edit; Also, am I the only one that is pondering 'what would the training benefits of throwing Ichigo into a pit with Kenapchi?'

Actually... there's an interesting idea with Ichigo's 'has every single different set of abilities', and the fact that Shadow dumped a bit more on him in the process. In addition to allowing the 'separate' thing.

Namely that Shadow would probably still have at least some connection to the other, prior Adams. Enough that there might be a bit of 'seeds' for Ichigo to pump the excess amounts of power he has into.

So Urahara might end up trying to find out where this sudden building showing up on his sensors, that's hidden, in the middle of his candy shop/training area. He wasn't even aware that his sensors could read "WAREHOUSE HERE". And it's moving around. Shadow just kind of forgot about turning on the stealth systems. No wait, it wasn't his fault. Right. It was Ichigo's spiritual power that would have overwhelmed the stealth systems at first, along with fufilling mostly the same purpose in masking everything once you were a reasonable distance away, so he left them off on purpose. That, and it could totally have just been an unusually strong inner world.

Sidenote: I just realized that there is a potential loop back around with Shadows back to Adam, considering that Grimm are creatures of Darkness, with Bone Masks... I suppose the question from there is, would it be the same world that Adam already visited, or some sort of alternate/AU version from that one? Like, say, way before canon? Such as Salem and Ozma, before even the Brother Gods leaving. Maybe right after/during the Tower fairy tale story actually took place.

The funny thought that you had the God of Research, Repair and Development. that works either for free or by giving it candy.

And is begging to do something to get said candy.

And you guys wasted the opportunity^^.

Well since they here for some time, I will assume the shadow is almost finishing the impossible task of find a hollow among ?trillions? and a specific and kind of rare soul inside said hollow.

I'm mildly surprised Shadow didn't eat the death candy once it became apparent that it wasn't viable for anyone else to do so. As in while it was melting through the floor.

That's a waste of both Candy and Floor.

So...

THIS!

"Somehow Shadow knew that people with mustaches were the best of people. He probably had LOADS of Candy! And would be happy to share it with all the faithful!"

Made me imagine Shadow eating itself and becoming/eating the Shadow-Shadow-Fruit(or is it Darkness-Darkness?) in One-Piece. Imagine the MC REALLY liking Garp, Whitebeard, people like that... lol

. . . .Kinda surprised that nobody has called out Tatsuki actually contemplating being the cream filling in an Ichigo Sandwich yet. But I suppose it was a one sentence blurb, and most posters had already gotten it out of their system the last update.

Meh, oh well, not that important, just found it odd how after all that hubbub about it last update, mum was the word on it this update.

Update will be on schedule.
Man, I'm enjoying this bit, won't lie, but it can really drag the Soul down.

Shadow has to go somewhere light hearted and silly next, Darkness doesn't HAVE to equal endless torture and suffering, right?

Sheesh. Better pick one that can handle a bit of adult humor too, I've noticed anything related to Adam has a tendency to get a bit perverted even when it isn't planned...

Not that we are leaving just yet, or anything. But sheesh, there is SO MUCH ANGST! And horrific fridge horror stuff! And depressing genocides! Like five or six!

I don't remember Bleach in my heart having so much UGH in it, just awesome fights and conceptual world bending swords and self discovery powering up Shōnen stuff, not to mention the fan service.

Ugh.

But it does! Turns out the Quincy were just the tip of the iceberg. Really, it's like the Shinigami's answer to everything is just "burn it with fire!" and then sort through the ashes for loot.

Which... I mean, Old Man Genocide's zanpakuto is the strongest fire one, and he has been leading them since the start, so... checks out?

Elemental Affinity as government policy? What could possibly go wrong worse than usual?

I have seen that you want to reread Don't Be the Tsundere ,there is no way the Update will be on schedule, unless you have a way to manipulate time.

Edit: You could visit your version of MLP via Sombra

In Bleach like half the filler plot lines were soul society screwed us over and or genocide us now we want revenge. It's one of those series that randomly has a really dark background for some reason.

Mainly because of the editors forcing big changes to Kubo's vision, originally Soul Society were supposed to be the main antagonists overall (with a return to slice of life stuff for a bit after rescuing Rukia) but then the captains started polling really well so they forced Kubo to change it, but with Kubo still keeping existing elements from the Soul Society = Villains storyline in the background (such as what happened with Tousens friend) which then kept cropping up as the series went on.

It's also why Hitsugaya jobbed in damn near every fight, as Kubo hated him despite how well he did in the popularity polls the editors liked so much.

Then don't go to either "Attack on Titans" or "Naruto (whichever series)" Those two are at least as bad. We already know my opinion on the two unmentionable franchises. "Cowboy Bebop," "Yu Yu Hakosho(sp?)" and "Inuyasha" are upfront about their drudgery. ... I can't really think of any "light hearted" series. I mean, even Pokemon had it's often cleverly hidden, but more often out in the open dark moments, and Dragonball is just upbeat drudgery.

If you want a LOT less angst and genocide (though not entirely without it) there's Avatar The Last Airbender, back in A:TLA era, don't go to Legend of Kora era though, that leads to angst and genocides.

You could try any generic feel-good fantasy isekai with a 7+ element-elemental magical system.

Honestly, any guilty pleasure anime will do.
Does "In Another World with my Smartphone" have a Darkness element? I think it does, but I am not sure. Literally any series with a "Darkness" or "Shadow" element would work, though. Maybe decide to go to Fate and end up replacing Angry Man in the Grail? Gives you less influence so you don't deal with all the crap that that fandom spews out, but still gives you both Fate/Zero and Fate/Stay Night to work with. And while it has crap-sack elements, it is rather up-front about those elements.

Except that TLA doesn't have a Darkness element to latch on to. LOK does, but only in the corrupted spirits and the Dark Avatar and such.

I mean, the Air nomads were genocided, and the fire nation is in the process of destroying the world, there is alot of casual rascism bettween benders and bettween benders and nonbenders. The world is at war, whatever else, if you think about it, it's a pretty dark setting.
