Ok, definitely never playing AL. *mutters about heresy and how lolibattlebotes make no sense*whelp, AL has another member of the Big Seven now.
Loligato!
There's already one with Nagamon and loligato together that is just epic. Usual places should have it.
Wasn't planning on it. I build Waterline Series primarily; if I want to go larger, I buy Tamiya kits.
Look at the bow. Look at the turrets. Look how short the turret protrusions (I refuse to call those on the model rangefinders) are.
Impossibly large sword ahoy!
I would except they don't convert to USD do they?Aoshima and Fujima are also pretty good with the 1/700 waterline, and I'd also recommend Hasegawa for the 1/350 ships...and while I do shop around various places in person, the best place to get models imo, is HLJ...
Ikr? Sorry, only one I found of both the bow and turrets.Dear lord the pixels on that zoom ...

Yep...my first-ever kit was their 1/570-scale Titanic.Revell kits are mostly good for practicing your painting techniques.
Ooh, good site. I've built Aoshima (the old Fuso and Soryu kits) and Fujimi (Oyodo) as well. Love Tamiya's paints, though...it's got to where I won't use anything else if Tamiya makes a color for it. I've used ModelMaster once, as I needed one of their colors for the flight deck of my Shinano kit. Won't use Testor's paints anymore, though...not after I dropped that full bottle of gloss black on the brand-new off-white dining room carpet. Yeah I only use Testors because I still have the first paint I got. But I detest Enamel. Too thick and shows. Every. Stroke. I love Tamiya's bottles because I can flip it over and back, open it up, and use the paint off the cap. Much cleaner.Yep...my first-ever kit was their 1/570-scale Titanic.

Looking at the original picture:Yeah, she's missing a foot sticking out below her knee to let you know, 'hey, I have a leg, it's just behind me'.
For what it's worth, Citadel paints (GW brand) is acrylic based, as are Tamiya and Vallejo. Vallejo is very nice for military type models and Tamiya is good for everything else.Always liked Games Workshop stuff, because it's pretty durable and the paint is good, but it's a bit pricey, hence my current lack of modeling.
Yeah. You overpay like hell, but they are nice to put together. Revell could take a lesson from them.Always liked Games Workshop stuff, because it's pretty durable and the paint is good, but it's a bit pricey, hence my current lack of modeling.
For what it's worth, the gameplay of AL is more accessible than KC or WSG(not having RNG everywhere is good for a change.)Never understood the obsession with how the botes look. Then again, in the hundred LSCs I did in AL I only got one lolibote.Ok, definitely never playing AL. *mutters about heresy and how lolibattlebotes make no sense*
I actually don't play KanColle or WSG either. I just like the fanworks. WoWS and From The Depths fulfil my naval combat needs. For what it's worth, the gameplay of AL is more accessible than KC or WSG(not having RNG everywhere is good for a change.)Never understood the obsession with how the botes look. Why would a CV want to romance a BB? They'd have little BBV babies, and BBVs are useless!
See, if Jersey and Yamato got it on, you'd have little baby BBs with 18 inch guns, torpedo protection that works, and AA that actually, you know, didn't suck.
Who told you that torp protection worked? Because as far as the subs are concerned there are two types of vessels, other subs and targets.Hmm, this got me to thinking about Musashi and Jersey's little romp. Considering both other shipgirls who are pregnant did so basically on their first try right? Could we be in store for 18" superheavy, radar guided, computer controlled fun times? With good torp protection, STS structure Class A and B armor and a couple of Fletchers worth of AA?
So, a WWII era version of the Tillman IV-1/2? Fortunately for the Abyssals, they are unlikely to be around by the time that/those little horror(s) is/are combat ready.Hmm, this got me to thinking about Musashi and Jersey's little romp. eh. a future montana more then likely. little thicker armour, little slower, 3 more 16 inch rifles...yeah. go America baby.Hmm, this got me to thinking about Musashi and Jersey's little romp. Same here...I'm registered to play WoWs, but I've gotten tired of being cannon fodder no matter how much I update the ship I'm using.I actually don't play KanColle or WSG either. I just like the fanworks. WoWS and From The Depths fulfil my naval combat needs.
Awesome! Though I avoid Memphis like the plague...If you are ever in Memphis drop by Mid South Hobbies. They carry a pretty good selection of paints from Tamiya and Vallejo, a bit light on tools though, but they also carry a lot of old military books as well...
That's just as you say...one of the best murderball pics I've ever seen. I made DesRon 23 male in my fanfic, and they're even wilder than if they were girls. (Picture BelBatt Taffies, then add Animaniacs-level crazy and you're close. )Was browsing around, and found what is quite possibly the best murderball pic that I've ever seen.
