Oookkkaaayyyy....

I watched the Kancolle movie yesterday, with its triple scoop of MSSBtm...and while it did give more info on Abyssal 'reproduction', I think @theJMPer idea on Nazi Abyssals is a rather good one...of course the film was basically 'The Fubuki Show: The Movie'

I did enjoy the updated graphics in the film as well as the expanded cast, not to mention MOAR Nagato...

Omake- Adopt a Shipgirl
Jane: *sparkly eyes*
Different kind of adoption, Jane.
Jane: Oh...
I didn't say no.
Jane: *happy Jane noises*
HE LIVES! So was the hiatus post a joke or do we need @Old Iron to write more Omakes?
I can write more omakes regardless. XD

There will never be enough Nagato.

The Doylist reason being, of course, that whatever you're imagining is personally more impactful than saying anything.

INDEED!!!!

Although I will call BS on the different paints required to give the 1/700 ships the proper colors...half of the ones needed aren't available in the US from what I have seen...

They are a pain in the ass. Model Masters can be... acceptable. At least for US Navy colors. Otherwise you basically have to mix your own. Which can be a pain in the neck and a half.

Just eyeball it. The "real" color won't look right anyways because of scale.

I decided to stick with Tamiya paints for the models, with a few additional colors from other sources for the ones Tamiya doesn't produce...I have a full set of IJN Greens and Greys, including the Kure and Sasebo Arsenal colors...

I have secured a complete set of the Kongou sisters in 1/700 scale...and two addition Fletchers:evil:

I prefer 1:350 for tin cans. They're just too small for 1:700 to do them justice.

Honestly, I just prefer 1:350 as a rule.

Would that be the on-base Krispy Kreme?
They have expanded operations to include shipgirl portions. Profits have skyrocketed.

I found pretty much everything I needed at a place called Ace Hardware Hobby. But I'm also working with a Tamiya, so...

1/350 is a bit impractical for wargaming, but they do look pretty...

Well the major companies that make the waterline series are Tamiya, Hasegawa, Aoshima, and Fujima...and they all want you to use their own brands of paint...since my Nagato and Mutsu are Aoshima kits, they list paints from Mr. Color, and I would have to have paints shipped from Australia(!) in order to paint them. Therefore, I'm sticking with straight Tamiya paints for them all...

My local hobby shop stocks some Mr. Color paints.

But yes, it can be something of a pain.

*glares at A6M5 Zero*

*despairs trying to find antifouling red enamel*

I just stick to Model Masters paints so that at least they're all consistent with each other.
