Yeah, I have one two things to say:
One: Dude, you killed the biggest chance at improving the story.

You two do realize that it's very likely that they will get back together right?Yeah, I haveonetwo things to say:

Yeah, have JMPer say that himself man. I can tell he wants that ship dead. You two do realize that it's very likely that they will get back together right?
He's the one that's been pushing it this whole frigging time!Yeah, have JMPer say that himself man. I can tell he wants that ship dead.
Where have you been the last few months? Go on Space Battles and he says he wants it dead.
Not on space battles that's where. OopsWhere have you been the last few months? Go on Space Battles and he says he wants it dead.

Also, I think it's kind of weird how emotionally people are reacting to what are more or less two OCs breaking up what was already a pretty tenuous relationship, though the NGE shipping wars still continue in some form to this day so I can't say I'm surprised.
I had that exact image in my head as I was editing that in.
I'm just wondering if we'll see any of the Crowning/Kirishima ship, or if they'll just quietly pair off and never be heard from again. And, sorry in advance, but I really hope it doesn't turn into New Sashi. They're just way too similar for me to find much enjoyment in it :/The ship, in hindsight, read more like one of those awkward high school relationships that started because of a blind date and kept going because neither party could really admit they were wrong. I'm glad it ended the way it did, because I've seen those kind of relationships ruin friendships of people not even involved, and because New Shashi is a ship I've quietly held from more or less their first interaction. Kirishima is a better match for the soft spoken literary professor and given how hard she got shafted with the Washingale stuff she deserves it.

Maybe it'll be like Holmes and Moriarty, except without the megalomania and crimes and Reichenbach. Equally matched, and butting heads.I really hope it doesn't turn into New Sashi. They're just way too similar for me to find much enjoyment in it :/
Why do I see this devolving into a passionate duel of academia to make even the most pitched debates in history seem little more than a childish squabble?Maybe it'll be like Holmes and Moriarty, except without the megalomania and crimes and Reichenbach. Equally matched, and butting heads.
Hence the .
This would actually be something I'd be very interested in seeing. Jersey just walking into a bar and grabbing a random ass marine to be her boyfriend. I could see it.I can see Jersey finding a relationship with a stereotypical bored marine.
What's worse than a bored marine? A bored marine and bored battleship.
Seriously. Jersey seems VERY much on the same wavelength as a lot of young Marines.
