Cut to Bucky showing up a few days later wearing the same dress Ari used to wear as a 'child'.
One Standard has to fan herself and wonders if this is what motherhood feels like.
The other just keels over from cuteness overexposure after the destroyer calls her 'auntie'.

Well, I think once Mutsu announces she has two on the slipway (and they pick Richardson up off the floor after he passes out
), Ari will automatically appoint herself as their protector, so she'll be involved in one way or another.As for Pennsy, it could go one of two ways:
1) She waits until the twins are born and flips out kind of like Aso did with Yoshino in "Things Involving Shipgirls That Are No Longer Allowed".
2) At first look at them Pennsy's 'Me Hate Everyone' exterior cracks and her personality eventually does a complete 180.

Hmm... Arizona would all but leap at the offer while Pennsy would probably turn it down in her current state of mind. How she turns it down is probably dependant on her mood.
But Ari would accept the offer without question. Possibly after much wheeling and dealing with Nagato, Hiei, and Jintsuu.

Considering how many mamas Jane has by this point and that there are two keels in the slip, nothing says they each have to be limited to only one godmother. There's also 'auntie' and 'nanny' positions to fill out and, as far as 'kooky nanny' goes, a Kongou is second to none except maybe a Poppins.
(whoever gives Kongou access to a black victorian-era nanny costume and matching umbrella will be court-martialed)

I mostly just posted the screenshot since Nuker posted his.
So in one TL, Sara sinks syndie British boats and in another she sinks commie Russian boats. And in our TL she sank Japanese fascist boats. That's quite a multi-versal repertoire!
Although I'm afraid things are a little sadder in my Soviet campaign in regards to her sister. Lexington sank in the channel battles...
Which actually adds a nice revenge twist to the fact that Sara sank one of the Soviet carriers off the coast of New England. Admiral Gorshkov killed one of her sisters, so Sara killed one of Gorshkov's...

There are two momboats in that scene.
Fubuki was the first modern destroyer. Which i think Jersey mentioned to her a looong time ago.

I remember watching the anime and seeing Fubuki's vision of her telling the Admiral she loved him. I can't see her and the Admiral together...to me it's more like Admiral/Kongo and Fubuki/Mutsuki/Poi.
