If I were to be completely honest, I'm inclined to agree on some level. It's just getting...almost sad now. That might just be my idealistic side speaking, but Gale has gone past harem protagonist levels of thickness.

Also, it looks like the CrowningxJerseyxSashi OT3 is one step closer to fulfillment - I mean, uh, this can only end in tears and drama since Jersey know Crowning Wuvs her and Crowning knows she feels the same way even if she can't spit it out or admit they went on a date.
This might be a larger reveal than Crowning telling Gale Vestal told him to knock up Jersey, Jersey and Musashi in bed together, and learning that a cardboard Box can defeat Tenryuu combined.

I have to agree with the Gale x Washington storyline. I have found myself skipping those parts because they just repeating.
I nearly skipped this chapter because it had Gale's name in the title. Luckily I saw Crowning's name and stopped to actually read it.
Gale needs to talk to Washington or move on.

Okay. Gale, just stop. Granted NCO and Officer relations are frowned on from what I understand. Abuse of authority and all that. Now Crowning, I hope to God that he learns of this and talks to Jersey about it. He has more patience then I do, because Jersey demands so much from him, yet shuts down any discussion of a relationship then goes and fscks Musashi? Do the humans even have a chance in these relationships or should I skip the shippy stuff?

No, Jersey said she can't be with Crowning because she's not used to being a girl and it scares her, and Crowning gave the spiel on how Jersey's completely perfect to him. It was chapter Deus Ex Machina.

If I may, as an aside, I think you're reaching the point where the rom-com and harem jokes have worn out their welcome. Either perceptible progression or moving on is needed now IMO.

I think you might want to done Jersey's jerkassery IMHO, cheating on someone is going too far....one can only imagine how this would hurt Crowning.
I agree with you, the Gale story is getting repetitive and stale, and with this act its downright impossible to justify Jersey's feelings of uncertainty in a relationship.
Agreed on the Rom-com and harem parts...also I think you read to much in that one particular line in the chapter you linked.
Edit : That particular line in a chapter was Jersey displaying her insecurity as a shipgirl and ship...too which Crowning says that she is beautiful one...nothing there about break-ups or the like.

Edit : On the subject of Gale and Crowning...If I were them I would have given up long ago, reorientated myself and then gone and looked for a proper partner, one who would love and respect me as I them. It doesn't matter that they aren't shipgirls, beauty is skin deep after all.
Also with Jersey acting like this, it can be seen by some of us that shipgirls get a free pass at doing ANYTHING they want, even bad things, without repercussions. Do we want that?

I'm going to have to reluctantly agree that we need some forward movement on the Kirishima/Wash/Gale front- not necessarily a resolution, but something that at least brings a resolution noticeably closer in some way. They've been in stasis for several updates, and it's starting to wear down the humor of the situation.
I think I will reserve judgment on the Musashi/Jersey/Crowning front. Jersey has staggeringly bad impulse control, and rather poor people skills. We've known this for a long time. Honestly, her having a fling, as opposed to being faithful in a not-very-firm relationship she's seriously unsure if she's even fit to hold up her end of... Does not really surprise me too much.
If Jersey grows up enough to realize what she did was wrong, I'm not going to say this in itself makes her a bad person permanently. Simply a person who very, very much needs to be better. If this continues to be the sort of person she is indefinitely, then yeah Crowning (or just about anyone who wants a stable relationship) deserves better.
