I got nothing. This is fine. This is alright.

I really suck at the whole 'constructive criticism' thing, sorry.

Like okay. Slice of life. Archerfish is adorably ditzy. Wash and Gale are adorable together. Shinano needs all the hugs. And that's... just about all I've got. :p

Not sure what else there is to say lmao.

"What if she doesn't love me?" Wash buried her chin in her chest and sniffled. "She's beautiful and stunning and… she could have any girl she wanted if she just asked." The battleship a space in the grass and sat down in a heap. "If she even wants girls."

"Oh, she wants girls," said Kirishima.

"How are you sure?" Wash pleaded. "How do you know she's gay?"

Kirishima just smiled. "Sailor."

Huh.........didn't realise that being a sailor determines your....sexual appeal...the more i know!

True Hilarious Historical Fact: The Village People song "In The Navy" was actually originally part of an official US Navy recruiting drive. It was shot on location aboard the USS Reasoner
Article:
In 1979, the United States Navy considered using "In the Navy" in a television and radio recruiting campaign. The Navy contacted group manager Henri Belolo to use the song in a recruiting advertising campaign for television and radio. Belolo gave the rights for free on the condition that the Navy help them shoot the music video. Less than a month later, Village People arrived at Naval Base San Diego where the Navy provided them with access to film on the deck of the berthed frigate USS Reasoner (FF-1063), several aircraft, and the crew of the ship would be used.

In the end, song was not used: The Congressional committee overseeing funding the campaign took one look at the song and video, and said '....Are you kidding?'

Yes, "In The Navy" was judged too gay for the USN. :p

now I really feel bad for Jane's first boyfriend...
Remember that Jane is only nine right now. She has a few years before she starts wondering if Admiral Goto's nephew thinks she's cute.

Plenty of time for Pennsy to cool her temper down to sane levels. Manyhugs will be needed.

That is absolutely hilarious. XD

EDIT: My keyboard seems to have gone on the fritz.

More Standards would help. Two is a small, isolated group by their standard; they tend to come in packs.

Also, the personality balance might be better. I mean, they can't ALL be massively traumatized berserker/PTSD cases.

I'm just waiting for Lolorado. Seriosuly, the girl has some issues with hitting a target.

I'm not sure if I can dig up the shot plotting from that one exercise she had since i'm at work but suffice to say, of the USN Big Seven, she had the worst accuracy.

True, more would help. But more ships need to be earned, which is the problem. And that could come down to a kind of summoning arms race to have the girls ready for battle in any reasonable amount of time.

True, Richardson just happens to be running a trauma conga line with his battlewagons so far. And some of that trauma can be worked with given time. Ari's already faring a little better than she was. Hard to keep up the gloom with some of the brighter personalities around. :D

I can't help but imagine something always going wrong when she aims. Tripping, slipping, sneezing, etc. She'd have epic accuracy if not for memetic Willie Dee levels of clumsy.

Colorado is just constantly high.

Also, Iron, Ari going on a date and getting unrequested "help" with her outfit from Shima when?

FFN Archive updated. I bundled the last two main story chapters into one since (A) I felt like it and (B) it saved me from having to come up with a title for the latest one because goddammit JMPer *paper eating noises* is not a chapter title. Then I added the latest Certain Lady snip.

@obssesednuker, thank ye as always!

And any suggestions for Arizona's wardrobe? Or would you prefer it to be a surprise~?
I think it might be funny if Shimmy got the states of Arizona and Nevada confused, (a reasonable assumption for someone not from the US) and stated suggesting show girl outfits because they are worn by the most popular girls in the most popular city in "her state"

I have the fashion sense of a hyena when it comes to recommendations, so not really. I am kinda hoping for some humorous shadowing by a suspicious Pennsy looking out for her little sister though.

My main question is who Ari's date will be.

These provide terrible, terrible ideas.

As for her date... It's *shot*
