An Unusual Abnormality - Redux (A Lobotomy Corporation x ??? Interactive Quest)

Day 2.47
>"...Uh-huh. And what do they do with it?"
>"Beats me." Alyssa shrugs, "They're not allowed to leave the facility, so they can't really sell the Enkephalin for money. There hasn't been any evidence to suggest that they're using it as a substance either."

>Consider the possibility that this place is harnessing faith/fear and transforms it into an energy source.
>You wonder... If they are then they might not be doing a very good job at it. You don't feel very scared. Plus if they were sapping faith then wouldn't that make your powers weaker since Yatagarasu is a god and you're connected to him?

>It might be possible to use the energy you could take as payment to make new spell-cards!
>Maybe make yourself even stronger as well!
>You wonder if energy could be used to make spell cards... Honestly it's a silly thought, because you can't exactly write a spellcard on energy. All it would take for you to make a new one is some paper (or a similar writing medium) as well as a pattern idea, really.
>You do consider possibly boosting your own power with it, though. You're not sure how compatible you'd be, but you could always experiment.

>Consider having them commission a nuclear reactor.
>You consider. You'd need to ask them for the relevant materials, and there's no guarantee they'll let you either...
>_

Day 2.48
Enkephalin and work
>" Well, If you can provide me with some samples, I'll probably be able to say if it is of any use for me. If not, I'll think of something else to ask for payment."
>"Sounds reasonable, though I will need to run your request by my Sephirah first."

Energy generation
>Well, these people do manage to get energy out of your presence here, somehow. Even if it is allegedly not much. Energy has to come from somewhere, right? Maybe it is less "suck energy out of you" and more along the lines of "collect energy that you emanate by merely existing" like some sort of a... magic body heat, or something.
>You continue to think about how they are getting energy out of your presence.

>Ask why they don't just make fusion reactors to get energy since anomalies cause so much trouble.
>"Enkephalin is a much more profitable and efficient energy source. I think I already told you that nuclear power alone wouldn't be enough to meet the world's energy demands."
>_

Day 2.49
> "Who's your Sephirah?"
>"Her name is Hod. I do believe I told you a little bit about her yesterday."

>"How do you get energy out of me being here, actually? I do not feel any sort of noticeable drain or anything like that."
>"Enkephalin is produced by abnormalities through the care we provide them. If they are satisfied during our work, they produce higher amounts per interaction, and if they aren't, well... Let's just say getting a low energy yield from the interaction is usually the best case scenario."

>Ask what they need so much power for.
>"...Didn't I just mention the world's energy demands?"

>"What are you writing on your clipboard? And why won't your management give you a... uhhh, speaky box so you don't have to write stuff down?"
>Don't ask about clipboard. Everything else from this is fine, though.
>You omit the first question.
>She stops for a moment.
>"...Hmm. I suppose a form of audio recorder would be useful. I might file a requisition for one after this session."

Day 2.50
Energy demands
>"I mean, specifically. More energy than nuclear fusion can realistically provide even with actual divine power making the process much more productive and efficient than otherwise is... It is a truly obscene amount of energy. What kind of technology you have that requires so much energy?"
>"Well a lot of energy goes into maintaining the Wings and their Singularities, and the rest of it goes into running the products and services they provide along with the other needs generated by people's daily lives." she replies.
>_

Day 2.51
>"Wings? Singularities? What?"
>"Right, I suppose you wouldn't know..." Alyssa frowns slightly, "The Wings of the World are the 26 largest corporations on the planet. ...Well, practically the only ones, really, since nothing else can compete with them... Anyway, a Singularity is an immensely powerful technology with the potential to make a significant impact on society at large. Every Wing has one associated with them."
>_

Day 2.52
>"And these twenty six Wings are using up all the energy in the world? Solar, Wind, Nuclear, even Hydroelectric?"
>"A significant amount of power goes to maintaining them and the services they provide, yes."

> "Is this facility owned by a Wing? What is the Singularity associated with it?"
>"We are one of the Wings, yes. As for our Singularity, well, us agents don't have the clearance to know the details about it, though I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the Enkephalin and EGO extraction process."

//EDIT: Holy hell hillo that wasn't even five seconds before your like appeared, you stalker. lol

Day 2.53
//Whoops, thought I posted this hours ago but I didn't. Sorry!

>"Well, that is everything I wanted to know. Thank you, Alyssa."
>"I'd offer you a hug, but hugs are apparently illegal now."

/unless people actually have anything else to ask?
>"No problem." She replies, "And they're not illegal, we are just heavily discouraged from doing so when interacting with abnormalities. I hope you understand..."

>"Just want to double-check again but no-one in this place is willing to take up the offer of a spell-card duel with me?"
>"Well, first of all we don't have any of these spellcard objects. I doubt a duel involving them would be fair in that case..."
>_

Day 2.54
>Ask Alyssa what we need to do to get permission to explore the facility. It can get real dull in this cell.
>If not, say bye bye to Alyssa. Maybe try figuring out a smaller hobby from fusion reactors?
>"I would need to talk to my Sephirah, but don't get your hopes up on that one..." she frowns.
>You say your goodbyes and allow her to leave the room.

>Ponder what new hobbies you could take up given that they probably wont let you spell-card duel or craft nuclear reactors.
>You begin to ponder...
>Aside from requesting furniture to build, you're currently not sure what else you could do to take up your time. You could probably experiment with creating new spellcard patterns, but it might not be worth it if you can't test them out in an actual duel, plus there isn't much room to maneuver in this room.
>_

Day 2.55
>consider how to teach them to make spell cards, or how to make spell cards for them. That way, they would be able to have spell card duels with you!
>You consider...
>Teaching them to make spellcards would be easy. The problem is that they won't be able to make or use them without any magic or divine power, since that's primarily what Danmaku shots are made of.

>Try making non-lethal patterns that are for entertainment purposes. Like small patterns. Tiny but pretty. It should help you refine danmaku in precise patterns. Maybe you can impress Archer and Alyssa if you show them pretty patterns later on.
>Try not to blow yourself or your containment room up, it might spook other people.
>You start making small patterns with danmaku, nothing too complex.
>You start off with a simple spiral, and then simply let things evolve from there...

>Make spellcards that can be used in tiny rooms. concentratr the power of the spells into smaller places. create spellcards that are shields that can keep the agents from getting hurt from the abnormalitys.Do you have any healing spells? Do you know any summoning magic?Do you know a way to enchant stuff? Can you use a spell to create a golem that can fight so that you can fight at two places at the same time?
>Several thoughts flow through your head rather quickly.

>You can't really make new spellcards without something to write them on and something to write with. You could probably circumvent the latter issue if you use your powers to burn the required writing into a valid medium, but you would still need a valid medium to write on in the first place.

>You could modify what you already have, such as adding a clause to allow you to use one as a "Bomb" type card, but only by adding on to what's already written. If you want to make significant changes to the pattern, you'd need to rewrite the entire card from scratch.

>You can't really make a shield card either. The closest to a shield you could get would be a "Bomb" card, which in a spellcard duel is primarily used as a quick, defensive strike. Even then, they really only cancel out Danmaku or projectiles born of magic/divine power.

>Unless bathing people with heat and radiation is considered a form of healing, you do not know any healing magic.

>Summoning? Why would you be able to do something like that?

>Maybe if you were a magician you could enchant stuff, but you are not.

>You can't really create life with your powers. Though you might be able to create a spellcard with a Sun that homes in on the enemy until the timer runs out. You guess it would sorta act like it had a mind of its own in that case... or something?

>Try making patterns for construction purposes. Like building furniture.
>You highly doubt anything you build out of danmaku would be usable, but you decide to try it anyway.
>You create a bunch of stationary danmaku balls and arrange them in the vague shape of a chair.

>You hear the sound of the buzzer.
