An Unusual Abnormality - Redux (A Lobotomy Corporation x ??? Interactive Quest)

Day 3.28
>"Huh, so are these Egocentric Germ Organic-mabobs really expensive or are they just y'know, run of the mill things like Graphite Rods."
>"Just call them EGO. And sort of... When we extract Enkephalin, it carries traces of an abnormality's essence. That stuff gets filtered out, and when we get enough of it we can use it to create a single piece of EGO. It usually takes a while to get the amount of essence required, though, especially from higher risk abnormalities."

>"Well, once someone gets my EGO, let them come here. I'd bet they are going to look adorable... Maybe I could teach them tricks and stuff about how to use awesome powers of the sun, too.* It could be pretty fun."

*Considering that, IIRC, EGO actually can get stronger if the wielder bonds with it properly, we might be, in fact, able to teach them something. A proper mindset, at least. :V

>"We'll see. It will likely be a while before we have enough essence to create EGO from you anyway."
>The buzzer goes off, signaling the end of the session.
>"Anyway, I'll see you later. I think we're going to prepare for the Dawn Ordeal soon."

>"There are five levels of agents," Alyssa explains, "and usually they only allow level five agents to work with ALEPH-class abnormalities. However, level 4 agents could probably get away with it in some circumstances. On the other hand, you'll almost never see someone at level 3 or being assigned work with one."
>"Explains why I've only met with six people in the three days I've been here, only two of which I've had repeated interactions with. It will be nice to meet new people, and hopefully make a few new friends."

OoC: what are the chances that some of the abnormalities might have some connection to Genokyo besides ourselves? Prime candidates of possible connections being Cherry Blossom, Yin/Yang and the Express Train to Hell.

>"Explains why I've only met with six people in the three days I've been here, only two of which I've had repeated interactions with. It will be nice to meet new people, and hopefully make a few new friends."
>"I suppose it would, but I really must be going."

>"Goodbye Alyssa, stay safe out there!"
>"Mhm."
>The door closes behind her as she exits.

>You are by yourself once more

I guess now I can go more in depth about the connections I believe could possibly exist. First off, Yin and Yang, the strongest of the connections. The Yinyang orbs in Gensokyo are the Go-Shintai of the god of the Hakurei shrine. One of the major fan theories of said god is that he/she is a dragon, now look at what Yin and Yang do as they break out of containment, they fuse together and summon a dragon.

>You think that you may have an idea for a gift for Alyssa and Archer!
>Maybe a spell-card for them could do the trick.
>You just need to come up with something that's safe for them to use.
>Maybe actually check if they can even use a spell-card in the first place...

//Sorry for the delay.
>Congratulations! Your tongue is now covered in splinters!

>Sigh heavily over being stuck alone once again.
>Write down a new spellcard. A technique that infuses the ground with nuclear energy, turning it to magma and spewing it everywhere. (Hisoutensoku spellcard, Nuclear Blaze Geyser. 1:42)
>You sigh heavily, before creating a new spellcard to pass the time.

>New Spellcard Created:
>Geothermal - "Nuclear Blaze Geyser"
>>Creates a shockwave of "magma" beams that travels along the ground in front of you.

>wave at the security camera
>You wave.

> Maybe our ego gift is the ability to use sun magic after all EGO is the Essence of your being
>You consider possible gift ideas for your new "friends", with a spellcard being a strong possibility... Though you should probably make sure they can actually have the magic or divine power to use them first...

>Wait for something to happen.
>You wait.
>You hear muffled clanking footsteps behind the door, followed by the sounds of metal on metal shortly afterwards.

>Make a mental note to check the magic and divine power of our friends.

>Actually, write a physical note to do that on a piece of paper.

>If this turns out to be thanks to the Dawn Ordeal that our friend mentioned, blast down the door and start helping out the agents.
>If combat is joined, prioritise using spellcards where possible and only resort to the lethal versions when your out of spellcards, there's a (preferably) 15% chance or less of hitting an agent and/or the situation forces your hand.

>change my mind I look out the door window
>You can't see out of this door.

>Make a mental note to check the magic and divine power of our friends.

>Actually, write a physical note to do that on a piece of paper.
>You write a note to yourself.

>Obtained: Note to Self
>>A note addressed to yourself. It reads: "Check the magic and divine power of your friends."

> Knock on the door to see if there is any response before blasting also call out if there is no response
>Do not blast the door.

>You knock on the door, only for there to be no reply.
>You then consider blasting the door, but hesitate about whether or not you should do so.
>_

>Lie down a bed, continue waiting; presumably for the people to call on you to blast stuff. You did make arrangements Hod, so you should keep patience for a little bit more. Why would they ever pay you anything if you just break out and blast things for free?
