>"...Yes."
>Alyssa remains silent for a moment, "...I see..."
>"Unfortunately, he's still too low of a rank to be rated for ALEPH interaction outside of extreme circumstances. Low level agents tend to panic more easily in the presence of higher risk abnormalities."
>"In my defense, it is very hard not to go power-crazy with the awesome power of the sun."
>"Well, tell him that if he works hard, and does not go insane anymore, he'll definitively become a cool high-ranked agent. I'll be rooting for him.">"Unfortunately, he's still too low of a rank to be rated for ALEPH interaction outside of extreme circumstances. We already talked plenty with Alyssa, Archer and Hod about how Utsuho really enjoys exploding stuff and kind of has a vaguely outlined history of being a walking nuclear disaster until people beat it out of her. She could take it excessively, completely seriously and it still wouldn't really matter after things we said.@Prospalz is there a rationale there? It could be taken seriously.
>Let's not talk about going power crazy here.

>"Well, tell him that if he works hard, and does not go insane anymore, he'll definitively become a cool high-ranked agent. I'll be rooting for him."
>"I'll be sure to tell him that."
>"During our initial training as level one agents, it's kinda drilled into our heads how dangerous some of the higher risk levels are. It's a psychological thing, really.">"Though are we talking about normal panic, or some kind of weird magic panic that is somehow attached to all the things here? I know I didn't have a magic panic aura before."
OTHER;
>Look around, sigh heavily.
>"...Other than chairs, this place really could use a bunch of things before it'll become even remotely comfy. I feel kind of bad that I can't even offer you some tea or some snacks."
>"Don't feel bad about it." Alyssa replies, "Though I'll see what I can do about the carpet.">"could we maybe get a carpet it would defintley at least make the room prettier"
>"Mostly just standard abnormality interaction and suppression procedures and a crash course on EGO equipment." she answers.Training
>"What sort of training you underwent before becoming an agent?"
>"What is EGO equipment, anyway?"
>"It stands for Extermination of Geometrical Organ." Alyssa answers, "...Don't ask, I don't really understand it either, but odd naming aside it's weapons and armor created from the essence of abnormalities. We could probably even create some based on your essence if we obtain enough Enkephalin from you."
>"With most abnormalities it's basically 'Beat it until it dies.' though higher risk abnormalities tend to require a bit more strategy."
>"Almost a month now, believe it or not."
>"...That doesn't sound very long."
>"Well its definitely an achievement considering quite a few don't make it past the first two weeks..."
>"...Why hire people who are bad at their job?">"Well its definitely an achievement considering quite a few don't make it past the first two weeks..."

I don't think we can really even start teaching anyone. Utsuho cheated by eating a whole lot of Yatagarasu's power; normal humans would need formalized rituals and prayer to even start channeling Yatagarasu's power. Formalized rituals and prayer Utsuho does not know.> "I'm also thinking of maybe, emphasis on maybe, trying to teach you lot the basics of my brand of magic. It is possible for humans to learn it, I think, but beyond that level you kinda need to be linked to a god, goddess or some other such deity to actually use it."

>"Er... it's less people being bad at it, it's more that well... they either die or were forced to resign due to their mental condition."
>"There are five levels of agents," Alyssa explains, "and usually they only allow level five agents to work with ALEPH-class abnormalities. However, level 4 agents could probably get away with it in some circumstances. On the other hand, you'll almost never see someone at level 3 or being assigned work with one."> "How many 'levels' of agents are there, and what's the lowest that can interact with Alephs outside of emergencies? There can't be that many, considering the fact that you and Archer are able to talk to me, despite you yourself only having been employed here for a month or so."
>"Well with some the weapons function similarly to weapons they themselves wield, while others can emulate abilities of the abnormalities. However, some weapons just have traits of the abnormality built into them." she replies, "As for armor, it tends to give the user similar resistances to the abnormality it came from, though in some cases it provides different resistances entirely. To answer your other question, I'm pretty sure we don't have any control over how they look and function when they're created, though I'll have to check with Extraction on that, since they're the department responsible for extracting EGO."> "Huh… really? Hmmm… so, do the weaponry and armour forged have any correlation to the Anomalies they came from? And are the people who forge them able to control anything about how they'll come out, such as aesthetics?"
> "Because if so I'd like to request that any such equipment forged from my 'essence', as you called it, have an aesthetic based on hell, the corvid family of birds, the sun, radiation and nuclear reactors of the fission and fusion (both standard and cold) varieties, or some combination thereof. Or as close as can be managed without disrupting functionality."
> *If asked about the function stipulation* "*Deadpan stare* I ran a nuclear reactor before I wound up here. Such prioritisation of function over form was kinda necessary to avoid having the darn thing explode in my face. Which would not exactly a pleasant experience, let me tell ya' *shudder with existential dread*."
>
>"I could probably ask my Sephirah to see if it would be possible to arrange an escort for you when the time comes.">"So provided the agreement goes through, how long will it be before I would be given a tour of the facility, in order to know my way around the place so I wouldn't be likely to get lost or turned around, creating a delay in my arrival that could be quite costly in an emergency situation."
