An Unusual Abnormality - Redux (A Lobotomy Corporation x ??? Interactive Quest)

Day 3.15
>Ponder if you could possibly manipulate the radiation to send messages through Radio bandwidth, which should also include television and any other broadcasting medium. Might need a radio for feedback in order to know what it is that your modulations are resulting in when converted.
>Consider the possibility of using Nuclear transmutation on objects, for theoretically it should be possible to convert any lighter element to a heavier element through fusion, and as fusion is energy positive up till one reaches Iron, then therefore it should be possible to create material to work with by transmutation of the gasses in the air into matter like Silicon and Iron, or through the CNO cycle, transforming Nitrogen into Oxygen with a hydrogen atom.
>In theory, you could emit radio waves, but you're unsure if you'd be able to do so precisely enough for a secret message.
>Besides, even if you could, you don't think anyone would be able to decipher it.

>If you had a steady supply of fuseable atoms, creation of heavier elements is a given, though the reaction becomes more dangerous and costly the heavier you go.

>An alarm blares, and the wall slides open to show the meltdown console again.
>_

>Do you remember the buttons Archer pressed to stop the meltdown? If you are confident in your memory, press them.
>Otherwise, wait for the someone to show up and and stop the meltdown. Memorize what buttons they are pressing.

>Consider if the atmosphere provides enough atoms to be used for such a reaction?

Examine the console to see if there is any clear labeling for what each button does, or for at least a few of them that are most likely to be frequently used.

Day 3.16
>Do you remember the buttons Archer pressed to stop the meltdown? If you are confident in your memory, press them.
>You do not.

>Consider if the atmosphere provides enough atoms to be used for such a reaction?
>Pure Hydrogen and Helium make up a very small percentage of the atmosphere, so probably not. Fusing anything heavier than those two like Oxygen and Nitrogen would be risky considering the amount of concentration, temperature, and pressure needed to do so.

Examine the console to see if there is any clear labeling for what each button does, or for at least a few of them that are most likely to be frequently used.
//Remember to include the ">". Good thing this was clearly meant to be a command, but if it were more ambiguous it might not have gotten parsed without the ">".
>You examine the console, there are tons of buttons with little characters on them, as long as a big red button covered in glass and a small panel with a shape of a hand on it.

>Otherwise, wait for the someone to show up and and stop the meltdown. Memorize what buttons they are pressing.
>You wait and within moments Alyssa enters the room. She hastily makes her way over to the console and types in several buttons in quick succession before placing her hand on the panel, lining it up with the picture. A green line sweeps over the panel before a small beep is heard and the glass cover swings open.
>She presses the red button and there is a sound of steam hissing as the alarm gradually stops.

>"So, mind explaining what that panel actually does? Seeing as this is the second time it has popped out, I would like to know what it is connected to."

>Greet Alyssa.

>"So, mind explaining what that panel actually does? Seeing as this is the second time it has popped out, I would like to know what it is connected to."
We already were informed about Meltdowns, though. If it is actual nitty-gritty engineering bits that are of the interest, she is not going to be able to answer, and probably wouldn't even if she was able to.

Day 3.17
>"Hello again." she replies.

>"So, mind explaining what that panel actually does? Seeing as this is the second time it has popped out, I would like to know what it is connected to."
>"It vents the negative energy buildup caused by processing too much Enkephalin at once. It also regulates the release of Qliphoth Deterrence and the power to the containment chamber's systems." Alyssa explains.
>_

>"So, what type of work you were assigned to this time?"
>"Thanks for the paper, by the way. I made a couple of spell cards; can't wait to test them."

>" what can negative enkephalin even be used for, is it just a byproduct of whatever reaction creates positive enkephalin"

>"It vents the negative energy buildup caused by processing too much Enkephalin at once. It also regulates the release of Qliphoth Deterrence and the power to the containment chamber's systems." Alyssa explains.
>"Didn't you say previously that I produce much less negative Enkephalin than usual? Why would you need to vent something that isn't produced as much anyways?"

>"So this occurs for every room in this facility?"
>"Do the Seraphim or your Manager have any ideas on how to lessen the occurrence of the meltdowns?"

Day 3.18
>"So, what type of work you were assigned to this time?"
>"Thanks for the paper, by the way. I made a couple of spell cards; can't wait to test them."
>"Attachment. And you don't mean on me, do you?"

> "why do you have the panel inside my room instead of outside?"
>"Ask whoever designed this place." Alyssa frowns, "Though if I were to guess it's to boost energy production by increasing the amount of times agents are sent to the containment units. Abnormalites don't produce any Enkephalin without the presence of a human in their containment, after all."

>"Didn't you say previously that I produce much less negative Enkephalin than usual? Why would you need to vent something that isn't produced as much anyways?"
>"So this occurs for every room in this facility?"
>"When too much Enkephalin is being processed by the facility at once, it causes a negative energy buildup that can affect almost any of the containment units. There are a couple of units that are immune to it, but those are special cases."

>"Do the Seraphim or your Manager have any ideas on how to lessen the occurrence of the meltdowns?"
>"Not that I know of."
>_

>"Attachment. And you don't mean on me, do you?"
>This was probably a joke.* Laugh a little.
>"No, not really. I am waiting for an ordeal. Or if Hod decides to take my offer to blast things in exchange for payment..."
>"Proper duel would require a lot more space, anyway. And by the rules, spellcards are supposed to be at least theoretically possible to dodge or avoid - honestly, me using Giga Flare in these long narrow corridors would probably be against the rules if we still were back in Old Hell. "
>"Anyway, before I forget - I could use a couple of chairs to go with this table."

//*It was probably not a joke.

Day 3.19
>This was probably a joke.* Laugh a little.
>"No, not really. I am waiting for an ordeal. Or if Hod decides to take my offer to blast things in exchange for payment..."
>You laugh. Prompting Alyssa to raise an eyebrow under her bandages, or at least you think she is...
>"Well it's the manager's call whether or not to use you." Alyssa explains, "He probably won't use you against a Dawn ordeal, but if a WAW or worse breaks out he'd probably call on you."

>"Proper duel would require a lot more space, anyway. And by the rules, spellcards are supposed to be at least theoretically possible to dodge or avoid - honestly, me using Giga Flare in these long narrow corridors would probably be against the rules if we still were back in Old Hell. "

//*It was probably not a joke.
>"I see... And your request has already been noted."
>_

>"So... I know about Archer and you. How many other people are working here, with you in this part of the facility?"

Day 3.21
>"The crazy guy who unlocked the door? He still has a job here?"
>"Yeah, after he had the insanity beaten out of him, he made a full recovery and returned to work."

>"What made him go crazy, anyway?"
>"He made a few mistakes when working with Funeral of the Dead Butterflies. It does cause a fair bit of mental corruption when it speaks, and quite a bit more if it's irritated or upset."
