An Unusual Abnormality - Redux (A Lobotomy Corporation x ??? Interactive Quest)

>"One of my favorite three meals of the day!"
>Proceed to nom. On the table, like a bird of culture.

>You know, if controlling nuclear energy categorizes me as an Aleph, what would you consider your own organization's category, as you control a method of producing energy that apparently makes my own ability obsolescent?

Day 3.10
> "Oh."
I don't have much to add here. Anyone?
>"One of my favorite three meals of the day!"
>Proceed to nom. On the table, like a bird of culture.
>You let Archer retrieve and hand the food to you, before sitting crosslegged on the table and beginning to nom. He raises an eyebrow as you do this, but doesn't comment on your mannerisms.
>The table creaks a bit under your weight.

>You know, if controlling nuclear energy categorizes me as an Aleph, what would you consider your own organization's category, as you control a method of producing energy that apparently makes my own ability obsolescent?
>"You know the risk level terms we use don't really apply to the corporation itself, right?"

>"Anything interesting happened so far?"
>"Well the day's just started, we might get a meltdown soon, plus we'll have the Dawn Ordeal to deal with in an hour or so. The Sefirot are predicting Green today."
>_

>"Alright. So hypothetically what would that mean for someone who is unfamiliar with your terms? I dont remember being informed about all these words before now."

>Continue eating.
>The table creaks a bit under your weight.
>"I think a chair is going to be my next furniture request."
>"You know the risk level terms we use don't really apply to the corporation itself, right?"
>"It was a hypothetical question."
>"Well the day's just started, we might get a meltdown soon, plus we'll have the Dawn Ordeal to deal with in an hour or so. The Sefirot are predicting Green today."
>"Hopefully I'll get to have some fun today... And figure out what the deal with Enkephalin-thing."
Other things
>"So. Any interesting news around, lately? Juicy gossip about your bosses? Entertaining rumors about your new Aleph?"

Day 3.11
//Sorry for the delay. Decided to take a break from this yesterday.

>"Alright. So hypothetically what would that mean for someone who is unfamiliar with your terms? I dont remember being informed about all these words before now."
>"It was a hypothetical question."
>"It totally should! I've seen humans that are much scarier than any youkai."
>Shudder, while thinking of the beating Reimu gave you.
>You shudder a bit at the memory.
>"Tch. Well, if anything I suppose you could say this company and all of the other Wings are ALEPH class considering the amount of power and influence they hold."

>Continue eating.

>"I think a chair is going to be my next furniture request."
>You continue.
>"I'll see what I can do." Archer replies.

>"Hopefully I'll get to have some fun today... And figure out what the deal with Enkephalin-thing."
Other things
>"So. Any interesting news around, lately? Juicy gossip about your bosses? Entertaining rumors about your new Aleph?"
>"Nothing, really. Extraction just had their department expanded with a new WAW-class. Another magical girl by the looks of it." he frowns, "As if having one wasn't bad enough."

>"Green? What's that one about?"
>"Robots." he says flatly.

>"can you tell me what other abnormalities there are
>"Well, in this department alone you have your nextdoor neighbor the butterfly man, as well as Judgement Bird and a shelter that will probably cause chaos across the entire facility if one of us used it."
>_

>Continue eating.
>"Well, in this department alone you have your nextdoor neighbor the butterfly man, as well as Judgement Bird and a shelter that will probably cause chaos across the entire facility if one of us used it."
>"Another bird? What is it like?"
>"Nothing, really. Extraction just had their department expanded with a new WAW-class. Another magical girl by the looks of it." he frowns, "As if having one wasn't bad enough."
>Shake your head.
>"You live in a place full of youka.. sorry, abnormalities, yet you don't have any interesting rumors to tell? How can you manage to be so boring in a place like this?"

>You shudder a bit at the memory.
>"Tch. Well, if anything I suppose you could say this company and all of the other Wings are ALEPH class considering the amount of power and influence they hold."
>But wouldn't they have to be above or more dangerous than Aleph to be able to capture/contain them? What might be above Alpha, maybe Beta or Gamma seeing as those types of radiation are more dangerous than Alpha radiation?
>"Well, in this department alone you have your nextdoor neighbor the butterfly man, as well as Judgement Bird and a shelter that will probably cause chaos across the entire facility if one of us used it."
>Hopefully I'll be able to interact with my neighbors soon. It would be rude of me to just come in without popping by to say hello.
>"Robots." he says flatly.
>Oh, so parts that can be used for creating new objects, like the reactor I so want to build, how wonderful.

Considering that Extraction is the one being expanded again, I'd say we're at Day 38 at the earliest going by in-game terms. So Mid-Late game.

Day 3.12
>Continue eating.

>"Another bird? What is it like?"
>You keep munching, speaking between bites.
>"Rather tall, and covered in black feathers, though the head is mostly featherless. There's also a bandage over where its eyes are supposed to be. It's the Abnormality that gave Alyssa her gift."

>Shake your head.
>"You live in a place full of youka.. sorry, abnormalities, yet you don't have any interesting rumors to tell? How can you manage to be so boring in a place like this?"
>"Oh, trust me, this place is anything but boring. In fact, I think a bit of boredom would actually be welcome here considering the shit we do on a daily basis."

> "How could a shelter be dangerous to people who are not inside it?"
>"By making its surroundings as dangerous as possible so that it can fulfil its purpose of being the 'Safest Place on Earth'..." he frowns, "I'll let you put two and two together on what that implies..."

>But wouldn't they have to be above or more dangerous than Aleph to be able to capture/contain them? What might be above Alpha, maybe Beta or Gamma seeing as those types of radiation are more dangerous than Alpha radiation?
>"ALEPH is our highest risk level. Anything higher than it would just be considered an even stronger ALEPH."

>Hopefully I'll be able to interact with my neighbors soon. It would be rude of me to just come in without popping by to say hello.

>Oh, so parts that can be used for creating new objects, like the reactor I so want to build, how wonderful.
>You hope you could interact with your neighbors somehow. Additionally, you feel pleased about the possibility of getting some scrap metal to work with.

>The buzzer rings.
>"Well, that's my cue to go to my next assignment." Archer turns to leave, "Enjoy your meal I guess."
>_

You forgot the "" around stuff you want Okuu to say.

Aaand I am a bit late lol

Considering that Extraction is the one being expanded again, I'd say we're at Day 38 at the earliest going by in-game terms. So Mid-Late game.
Unless QM adjusted something for this quest, ofc. The previous iteration of this still had a full 50 day cycle as a victory condition, despite having a semi-developed Lobcorp facility.

If things are unchanged though, we are going to get that Geburah fight earlier than expected.

>Bid Archer goodbye, and finish the food.
>Make another spellcard - bigger, better Giga Flare! It is fine if it leaves you exhausted like Subterrarian Sun, just need an attack that both gives your 100% and keeps collateral damage contained... To one direction, at least.

//Reasoning is that our strongest attack is currently Subterrarian Sun, which is very cool and very damaging, but is also a little bit hard to use due to collateral damage concerns. Forget people, we might actually deal some nasty damage to the facility itself - best get something more focused.
//IDK about names. Final Flare? Master Flare? Something entirely new?

Day 3.13
//Up extra early today. Stayed awake overnight so that I end up extra tired later on. (All in an effort to correct my sleep cycle, which quarantine has kinda thrown out of wack.)
>"Tell Hod and Alyssa I said 'Hi'!"
>Bid Archer goodbye, and finish the food.
>"I'll tell Alyssa." he answers, "The Sephirah shouldn't be bothered over something minor like that..."
>He leaves, allowing you to finish your food in silence.

>Make another spellcard - bigger, better Giga Flare! It is fine if it leaves you exhausted like Subterrarian Sun, just need an attack that both gives your 100% and keeps collateral damage contained... To one direction, at least.
>Bigger and better how? Making the bullets bigger? Making the shots more dense? Both? Something else entirely?
>Plus you will need to come up with a name for the new card in addition to its description.
>_

>Just making shots much denser and a little bigger would be perfect, probably. Maximum possible focused damage is the goal.
>Name it Solar Flare, I suppose. Unless somebody has a better idea.
>Afterward, flop on the bed, and hope that somebody is going to call upon you to blast something today.

>Practice with the radiation we apparently passively emit. Can we modulate the types of radiation we emit to different types like infrared, electromagnetic, light, ultraviolet, radio waves, or x-rays? Can we produce different effects from our radiation like EMPs?

>Name it Solar Flare, I suppose. Unless somebody has a better idea.
>You write out the card...

>New Spellcard Created:
>"Solar Flare"
>>A denser, bigger version of Giga Flare focused more on raw damage output than beauty. Might be considered illegal if this was Gensokyo considering there's a whole "Spellcard must be dodgeable" clause.

>Afterward, flop on the bed, and hope that somebody is going to call upon you to blast something today.
>You flop on the bed.

>Practice with the radiation we apparently passively emit. Can we modulate the types of radiation we emit to different types like infrared, electromagnetic, light, ultraviolet, radio waves, or x-rays? Can we produce different effects from our radiation like EMPs?
>As you lay there, you decide to play with radiation emission from your control rod, firing a small gamma ray burst towards the ceiling.
>You can emit anything a star can, so technically all of the electromagnetic spectrum. You could also emit alpha and beta particles, though not efficiently unless you supplement it with fissionable atoms.
>You haven't attempted an EMP and are unsure if it's possible. Though in theory it might be.

>Ponder if you could possibly manipulate the radiation to send messages through Radio bandwidth, which should also include television and any other broadcasting medium. Might need a radio for feedback in order to know what it is that your modulations are resulting in when converted.
>Consider the possibility of using Nuclear transmutation on objects, for theoretically it should be possible to convert any lighter element to a heavier element through fusion, and as fusion is energy positive up till one reaches Iron, then therefore it should be possible to create material to work with by transmutation of the gasses in the air into matter like Silicon and Iron, or through the CNO cycle, transforming Nitrogen into Oxygen with a hydrogen atom.
