I've decided. The C'Tan and Necron scientists can make energy ex nihilo, though the former were generally much better at it. The C'Tan are the ones who taught the Necrons, which is what made the Old Ones consider them gods despite their lack of Immaterial influence. The Old Ones had decent science on the material front, but, much like the Eldar, were much more focused on the Immaterium. It is technically possible to do ex nihilo creation at the apex of both of the tech trees, though difficult to control if you went the tech route while even harder to accomplish, but easier to control on the Immaterium route. The Crystals are a shortcut. Nobody entirely understands the underlying principles of 'This thing represents a concept, and will impose it with or without the Warp's compliance.' though Serras comes closest. A Necron scientist would be very interested to examine a few.
It's a shame there isn't a "Screaming in Horror" rating to give, although if there was it would get used a tonne over in Marked for Death.

What would we have to roll to stumble upon a tomb world? I think we technically have one of their outposts, if mostly destroyed. And it's not as if Quenya won't freak out on sight.

It took three or four critical fail rolls for us to face Heartless in a Space Hulk. Maybe 7-10 for a dormant tomb and 11-14 critical fail rolls for an awakened Tomb World?

EDIT:
Tenth-Tier Creativity Crystal/Rune. This Rune enhances the chance of epiphany and odd-ball ideas that often lead to new innovations or better tactics. +25 to Industry. +25 to PDF rolls. +250 to Morale Rolls. +1000 to Psyker Checks.

Yes. Creativity Crystal best crystal. It does it all. Our gods going to make fools out of the Chaos Gods like there's no tomorrow.

And we know about the war in heaven, presumably, and if we don't both Emps and Quenya's response will be kill it with fire, then kill the corpses again. Because that could get out of control quick.

Yes, but I would prefer a Lockshield. I'm pretty sure it's actually from a fanfic, but I'm not sure where.

It's a Kingdom Heart's SI that's followed up in future fanfics by crossovers with other series in future fanfics. I actually remember it being a pretty enjoyable series, but it's been a few years and some fanfics I remember liking back then aren't as good when I look at them now, so take that with a grain of salt.

We can make things that do the same thing, the fact is we need the things, do to Mal.

There is no if an or buts about it.

The only take away is that they won't be key shaped.

They might function a bit differently as well. They might vary in equipment type depending on the person as well. Russ might have an ax, while Roboute might have a very utilitarian sword, with the Keyholes in their respective hilts. Or the powers might be a little different from the Keyblade due to being a Lockshield which fulfills the same general purpose but isn't the same thing.

@ilbgar123 how does our army stack up the imperial guard, like how many of the imperial guard could a single bastion soldier kill before being killed themselves?

A few, though IG has sheer numbers on their side, roughly balancing it out. Like, if Thernus were ISOT'd into canon 40K, your regiments would perform much better than theirs on a person by person basis, but their regiments tend to be 5000 soldiers, as opposed to the 2500 you use, so two Regiments, one from each side, would most likely annihilate each other. In addition, they tend to have more Hero Units within easy reach, who would help swing things back in 40K's favor, and tend to field more regiments than you, as the 40K Imperium cares a lot less about human lives than The Bastion does, and is a low more willing to mass conscript to drum up crusade soldiers.

We are only twice as effective as canon? That is depressing considering how underpowered IG units were to everything else.

I was hoping for Argent Angels or Argent [Insert term] mainly because silver is Serra's color. Where the Emperor is Gold, Serras is Silver.

Great flag though. I love it. Can you also make something with the Sufficient Velocity logo? May be make it Serra's personal heraldry?

i don´t see Serra as silver i see her more as Platinum*.

*fun fact for these that don´t know it Platinum the atomoic number 78 and gold has 79 on the periodic table ...
