I'll dump part of my plan in here for now. It should bring up all the tagged items to 200, and should leave us with 8 basic skills to tag and bring up to 200. f It's also heavy on integration actions, because with more than 100 diplomacy actions, we're going to hit a WAAAGH for sure.

Minor Actions (x79=57+22 from Major)
[ ] [Minor] [SL] Magnus (x1)
[ ] [Minor] [SL] Rogal Dorn (x1)
[ ] [Minor] [SL] Mehtrya (x1)
[ ] [Minor] [SL] Albert Salnus (x2) (max out parent SL and Speech)
(+5)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Electronics: Security (x3)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Combat: Stealth (x3)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Perception: Environment (x3)
(+12=17)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Medicine: Surgery (x3)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Medicine: Narcotics (x3)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Medicine: First-Aid (x3)
(+15=32)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Invention: Military (x5)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Invention: Industry (x5)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Skills] Invention: Luxury (x5)
[ ] [Minor] [Train Stats] Learning (x4)

Free Booster Action
[ ] [Booster] Free Booster Crystal on Control

Integration Actions (x139)
[ ] [Integration] The Android Situation (x10): Figure out how to integrate them fully without issues from the Mechanicum. Find out why they could not make more of themselves.
[ ] [Integration] Tour the Bastion Sector (x10): We have all these shiny new planets, and we want to know more about their worlds and their people.
- [ ] Network with very important people!
- [ ] Visit cultural heritage sites of various planets!
- [ ] Find out the unique exports of various planets!
- [ ] Release the Propaganda Machine!
- [ ] Greet the peasants! :V
[ ] [Integration] Improve the Guard Command and Fleet Command. (x10): While you might rewritten the manual on warfare several times, it won't do any good if the admirals and generals in your army have not studied them to heart, or if your army and navy themselves are not organized enough to follow their commands.
- [ ] Improve the organization standards of our army and navy.
- [ ] Set up Academies to train recruited officers and troops.
- [ ] Increase recruitment drive for our army and navy.
- [ ] Set up War games to promote combat readiness.
- [ ] Promote meritocracy within our army and navy.
[ ] [Integration] Improve the Scientific Enterprise (x10): Improve existing R&D organizations, bringing the research capabilities of our polity slightly closer to Serras.
- [ ] Improve integration between classical scientists, tech-priests, quarian technicians, and various tech-sects within Bastion.
- [ ] Improve protocols for resource allocation, research sharing, vetting, and safeguard.
[ ] [Integration] Diplomacy (x99)

Survey Actions (x62)
[ ] [Survey] (x62)

As for Inventions... Beyond Crystals, I feel that we should have these ready at the very least:
[ ] [Invention] Improve Material Science
[ ] [Invention] Improve Sensors
[ ] [Invention] Improve Ship Laser
[ ] [Invention] Improve Replicator Efficiency
[ ] [Invention] Improve Astartes Package
[ ] [Invention] Improve Power Armour
[ ] [Invention] Improve Ship Designs
[ ] [Invention] Improve Booster Crystals

With the number of Diplomacy and Survey actions, it's pretty likely we're going to hit a big enemy soon, so would like to get our army and navy up to snuff right away.
NOM NOM NOM NOM! *Noms your plan and begins processing it in my factory stomach of planningness*

Well, we will soon become the best Primarch. Then we will beat the Emperor, so that when he is done with Terra, most of the Galaxy will be ours.

In fairness, we've had a ton of benefits they didn't (Like parents who were decent, a planet we didn't have to unite, a distinct lack of jackass locals in general) and Primarchs are bullshit, so of course she thrives in that sort of environment.

Our greatest advantage was having a childhood.

On another note for planet ideas, may I suggest the planet Dukis from Immortal Defense? I have more of my thoughts in a previous post linked here:

Yeah, the stability of the Primarchs in general can be traced almost directly to what kind of childhood they had. Some of them did okay despite the relatively poor conditions (Leman's first set of parents got killed, even if they were wolves, that would seriously mess up a normal human) but most of the ones that stayed loyal (Magnus was more or less forced to turn traitor to keep his Legion from getting wiped out) had better childhoods. I mean, look at Gulliman. His situation was very similar to Serras'. Raised by the ruler of his world, got all the best teachers, and the Ultramarines, for all that people gripe about them, are some of the most successful Space Marines, almost the first ones one thinks of when the word is used. Angron, on the other hand, fell pretty quickly once Chaos started pushing him, but I attribute that to a horrible, horrible childhood.

Goes to show that it's how children are raised that usually plays a huge part in how they will act as adults, even/especially if they are primarchs.

That is why it's important Serras meets with as many primarchs as possible in their still relatively young age so they have a big sister that can help counter all the bad shit they had to deal with.

How many sectors away is Magnus? Also, I was rereading the first few posts, what would a crit on the landing site have gotten?

You killed an Ork Warboss earning the gratitude of pretty much the entire planet since the WAAGH was reduced from 'guts the planet, best-case' to 'a threat, but not a major one' which means a significant amount of resources devoted to teaching and raising you, rather than allocated from the Salnus' time and disposable income.

Well optimized for survival usually includes a lot of traits that outside war would be considered PTSD. Permanently heightened awareness and reflexes after all, also means that you consider others as threat first, ally second

@ilbgar123 been meaning to ask and forgive me if this question was asked before but do you agree with idea that the reason Emps rushed his conquest and didn't really raise up the places he conquered very well was because he was most focused on getting as much resources/soldiers as possible in order to combat the Beast before it got too strong to fight?

Yes, and Thernus is 3 sectors away from Terra, so roughly the same distance as Terra. I think someone figured out exactly where it was a couple hundred pages back, actually. The map was tinted red or orange for some reason.
Well, Dad's probably too busy for us to gain any short term benefit from meeting up. But we only need two more sectors of webway access to meet Magnus. If we had a communication/privacy/accuracy/search array and Choired with Magnus how much further would we be able to search and how much more successful would our attempts be?

Not the Beast specifically, but he was absolutely sure that an Ork would get that far relatively soon, and in fairness, if he'd waited even another decade, they'd probably have lost at least one of the Primarchs, considering how fast the Beast was ramping up.

Uh, I meant that Magnus was roughly the same distance from Terra as he was from Thernus. As for the second thing, you'd probably be able to canvass about half the galaxy, as opposed to tenth-or-so you can get at now. Psykers of that kind of power get major synergy, since they have to spend a lot less energy protecting themselves on a percentage basis.

@ilbgar123 while Magnus might not have the some power his canon self did he still has the knowledge yeah? Has he been able to make his own crystals and even make entirely new ones outside of our guidance?

For a scholar like him I would assume he would create a few concept crystals/runes that would be useful to him like knowledge, organization, etc.

Yeah I think so. IIRC @Sir LagsAlot used all four of his +10 bonuses on this roll.

EDIT: @Higure also used their bonus. We should have an 85% chance of meeting Horus. Anyone else willing to put in a bonus roll or two, make it guaranteed or would that be overkill?
It would be overkill. You pass with your current bonus.
Ah...actually, someone probably should. I did spend my Bonus on our brothers, but it appears it was in an older vote, not the one SirLagsAlot put his points into.
