No so much underestimate as know that a race of god like Psyker beings made in the image of the Emperor is the logical next step in humanities evolution and that achieving that is worth the risk. Also etching order and purity Runes into their armor or skin should help

very practical, give every man a heavy bolter, anti grav it so it is one man portable, then have a teleporter behind them constantly supplying them with ammunition, and they will act as a moving hardpoint battlefront, slowly pushing forward and keeping the territory secured while all those with las and plasma guns can move ahead to kill the enemy and have a safe rear to fall back to.

Basically what tri2 said Boltors are like automatic, armor piercing, mobile infantry artillery peaces and their only real weakness is weight, recoil and ammunition (well that and not having like 6 more barrels).

Your forgetting to mention the fact that plasma weapons have a much higher rate of misfire and when they do misfire the result is usually quite deadly not to mention the fact that they are much harder to produce and maintain as well.

Think you are forgetting the fact that people are uncomfortable with handing out the ability to blow up cities to everyone since that is a recipe for disaster. Not to mention that experienced aura users can probably beat up a pretty good fight against Astartes. Imagine what and Astartes with aura can do. So a benefit from it is that it's a power that we can give out without worrying as much due to how much more limited the destruction those guys can do.

Yes, Remnant Psykers would be a good stop gap measure on corruption and preventing destruction but I see no reason why we wouldn't be able to create a society of only Psykers as the Eldar do just fine with their entire species being Eldar and we even have an example of a stable Psyker society in Prospero.
So no invisible, psychic, teleporting alien ninjas then, ah well.
Well the psyker only cloak relied on both their own power and a psychically active engineered bacteria.

A lot of the examples are like the tree falling and making a sound, many words have unclear definitions. Sound waves are produced but don't trigger auditory nerves, so it depends on what your definition of sound is.

I'm having a really bad day today...
I spend hours working on my analysis of what invention items should be maxed out for maximum long term growth while not harming short term interests.
Crystal diety is staged for about 4 to 5 turns out. Basically plenty of time with no worries on our side while not selling out our long term growth or other short term interests....
I'm not in this thread for a debate... but at the same time I don't like seeing headless chicken fear mongering that has zero analysis or long term goal reaching... I get enough of that already from just watching modern politics. This is the site I go to to escape that shit.
