hey
@ilbgar123 could we do something like create Counter-Guardians out of the souls Big E has? probably a SL thing, but the idea of super-powerful warp-like entities whos job is similar to the Angel but more controlled then the literal Prototype Soul of the primarchs (because that's what she is, kind of...imperial ascendancy kind of got me into thinking that's head-cannon while the "primarch" of the thunder warriors was the prototype body...anyway back to the point) and being able to be unleashed as his method of "Cleanse everything that's chaotic and/or their servants" method. Sort of like Fate/Stay nights Alaya.
im pretty sure this could backfire, and we already do have Legion of the dead going on, but a more reliable way for those guys to show up and be extremely more potent against the forces of chaos would be a good thing...
Also have we hit Nova marines yet? because it would be hilarious if we got Nova Marines before the great crusade started, so much shit would get done faster and force chaos to move faster then it wants to...especially with malice actively fucking them over with darkness and being a player in the game that's aiming to kill them all.
Uh, gonna need to ask Emps about that. He'd basically need to mash a bunch of heroic souls together to achieve that kind of power. He has Psyker souls, but they're vulnerable enough that he can't always grab them in time, especially the stronger ones which are more vulnerable due to more glacier-like ratios of Materium-Immaterium existence. Not to mention the Psykers are a tiny fraction of the souls he'd have gotten even if he grabbed all of them, since you'll get about 1 in 10 quadrillion (a significant fraction of the current human population) for an Alpha Plus, 1 in 1 quadrillion for an Alpha, one in 100 trillion for a Beta, 1 in 10 trillion for a Gamma, 1 in 1 trillion for Delta, 1 in 100 billion for Epsilon, 1 in 10 billion for Zeta, 1 in 1 billion for Eta, 1 in 100 million for Theta, 1 in 10 million for Iota, 1 in 1 million for Kappa, 1 in 100K for Lambda, 1 in 10K for Mu, 1 in 1K for Nu, 1 in 100 for Xi, 1 in 10 for Omicron, Pi is psychically neutral and marks everyone else. Reduce these magnitudes by 10 for your average Asartes, due to narrative weight 'inflicted' by their connection to Heroes and to their Primarch, and the increased likelihood of minor psykers making it through the process from subconscious biomancy/fate manipulation. Reduce the magnitudes by 11 for Corvus, Curze, Gulliman, Vulkan, Lorgar, Sanguinis, Horus, Serras, Khan, and 12 for Magnus. So, everybody in a Legion will be at least a Zeta, assuming no Blanks of any degree, though Astartes-ness would not agree with them as a general rule. Everybody in a psychic Legion would be at least a Epsilon, except Magnus' where they would be at least a Delta(minimum, 1 in 10 would be Beta, etc.). This is in the current 30K. Drop the magnitudes by 1 for every 10K years, although Blanks will also increase in number and potency, though they're about 3 magnitudes less common compared to their equivalent in Psyker. That is, in 50K, the magnitudes would be about 1 in a quadrillion for an Apex (Emps at creation), 1 in 100 trillion for an Alpha Plus, 1 in 10 trillion for an Alpha, one in 1 trillion for a Beta, 1 in 100 billion for a Gamma, 1 in 10 billion for Delta, 1 in 1 billion for Epsilon, 1 in 100 million for Zeta, 1 in 10 million for Eta, 1 in 1 million for Theta, 1 in 100K for Iota, 1 in 10K for Kappa, 1 in 1K for Lambda, 1 in 100 for Mu, 1 in 10 for Nu, Xi will be the new average, 1 in 10 for Omicron, 1 in 100 for Pi, which is still psychically neutral and marks everyone else. Everybody in a Legion will be at least a Delta. Everybody in a psychic Legion would be at least an Gamma, except Magnus' where they would be at least a Beta. 100K Astartes in a full Legion means that the average max in a normal Legion will be a Alpha in 30K, and an Apex in 50K. In a psychic Legion, it's a Alpha Plus in 30K, and a Apex Plus in 50K. In Magnus' it'd be an Apex in 30K, and an Apex++ in 50K.
Let's get some perspective. The population limit of unstable Hive Worlds is currently 647.5 quadrillion, which means in 30K one will average 6.475 Apexes, 64.75 Alpha Pluses, etc., while in 50K statistically there will be 647.5 Apexes and 6475 Alpha Pluses. Add 3.885 quintillion on geologically stable Hive Worlds, totaling 4.5325 quintillion, and it's 45.325 Apexes and 453.25 Alpha Pluses in 30K, as opposed to 4532.5 Apexes and 45325 Alpha Pluses in 50K(as in, a stable population which wouldn't have to worry too much about in-breeding if they ended up on an uninhabited world even without Biomancy fixing those issues). Unstable non-Hive Worlds may have 12.95 quadrillion with no major ecological damage, 1.295 Alpha Pluses and 12.95 Alphas in 30K, and 12.95 Apexes and 129.5 Alpha Pluses in 50K. Add 77.7 quadrillion to non-Hive Worlds increasing maximum capacity without risking environmental damage to 90.65 quadrillion, so you'd have 9.065 Alpha Pluses and 90.65 Alphas in 30K, and 90.65 Apexes and 906.5 Alpha Pluses in 50K. A Civilized Population World (6 Eden Toruses) would have 2.42165 quintillion people if it's stable, meaning 24.2165 Apexes and 242.165 Alpha Pluses in 30K, and 2421.65 Apexes and 24216.5 Alpha Pluses in 50K. A Hive Population World would have 121.0825 quintillion if it were stable. Therefore, it would statistically average 1210.825 Apexes and 12108.25 Alpha Pluses in 30K, and 121,082.5 Apexes and 1,210,825 Alpha Pluses in 50K.
As 1 decillion is essentially the lower limit of this, the average in 30K would be 10 quadrillion Apexes, and 1 quintillion in 50K. Wonder how much that magnitude of psykery would influence things in the cluster?
Don't think so.
Well, have them eaten by the Heartless isn't quite the same as 'killed' since they can come back from that pretty trivially if their Heartless and Nobody gets offed. Of course, their nobodies would be very weak relative to their Heartless, since they'd have to compensate for their lack of a body with a power drop, and instincts and emotion are a massive component of their existences even by human standards.
