Guys. Let's end this conversation here, shall we?

Not really productive to anything going on in the thread. If you want to talk about the orientation of the characters, take it to the Wormverse discussion thread.

for some odd reason these three songs come to mind for this previous chapter.

the last ones for the kicks:lol

Neat.

I'm glad that we're keeping this thread alive, lest the mods look at us for necromancy

SV doesn't actually have any necromancy rules, so you can't be infracted or anything. That being said, there's an unspoken taboo upon to posting in a dormant thread with stuff that's not relevant content. So posting to say "I just read this story and I love it!" would be alright, but posting to say something like "OKAMI IS THE BEST GAME" wouldn't be looked upon highly.

SV did come out of SB, and SB's "no-necromancy" rule has left an impact on the culture here.

A lot of people also consider it somewhat rude to ask about updates in the story thread, especially if it's dormant. The general etiquette is to ask in PM or the authors profile page. Mind, it's kind of a loose thing.

Anyway, Speculation on the Leviathan fight? I can see it being either a curbstomp with Taylor simply rushing in to kill it, something like in canon, as she really doesn't want to go near it, or a complete and utter disaster brought about by Taylor just not wearing her mask.

Leviathan is fast. Like, really fast. Ludicrously fast for something three stories tall. Taylor is fast for a human but if Levi doesn't want her to catch him then there's really dick-all she can do to kill him on her lonesome.

If she can convince Alexandria to carry her then it might be another matter.

She can kill the distance between them.

I'm not joking

Didn't Lisa in last chapter guessed that Tay-Tay is combat fucking thinker as well. It wouldn't matter if Levi is super fast, she just understands how to move her knife that correct lines would be in there when it matters, even if he was 2 city blocks away at the start of the slash

Wouldn't she have to know it existed to kill it, though? If not even Tattletale can be sure it's a real thing 70% through canon or whatever, I doubt she's gonna decide it's a thing here. :V
If I'm not mistaken Taylor's MEoDP are the same as Ryougi Skiki's, and since Ryougi's eyes run on the idea of "if it exists I can kill it" then I believe Taylor can see Levi's connection. I mean Ryougi did say that with her eyes she'd be able to kill God if he existed, her (almost) exact words if I remember correctly.

I think the point is she wouldn't know to look for it.

That's the thing, even if she wasn't looking for it she would see it. She might not know what it connects to, but she would see it. I believe the MEoDP can't be turned off.

If she sees it and doesn't know what it is, she's not going to go for it. She's going to go for the line that destroys Leviathan.

The apocryphal omake Art of Escalation has Taylor trying to de-escalate after murderizing Coil and his mercenaries... by cutting firstly the Master connection between Leviathan and Eidolon's subconscious, and afterward the ones between Eidolon and Behemoth and the Simurgh at a freed (and now talking) Leviathan's request.
