Did it have a gap longer than two years? I know it had a few dry spells, but I didn't think it was past that for any of them.
That happens in a lot of stories. It's always funny to see a character complain that it feels like they've been doing something for years when the author is making a jab at their own update pace.
Hard to beat 11 years, especially since Worm isn't that old, but that's why he said
But hey! At least it's not going to be a record in this fandom for longest time between chapter posts!
This gives me hope for so many fics. Thank you for sharing.Hard to beat 11 years, especially since Worm isn't that old, but that's why he said
BTW, for those of you who don't know what Hearts of Ice by Krista Perry is, look here:
Ranma 1/2: Hearts of Ice
It went from something like 1998 to 2009 without updating. Then it was finished.
Bold of you to assume stories ever die when they are killed...As for this fic: I had thought it dead, that it is not is spectacular.
Necronomicon said:That is not dead which can eternal lie. And with strange aeons even death may die.
I've been reading fanfics on the internet since the mid-90's. I used to download them at school or the library to floppies to read later at home on my own computer as I wouldn't get dial-up until late 1997 and broadband wasn't until 2002.
Same author, I had to wait 8 years for Children of An Elder God to end (though apparently that was partly because of the fact it was a collaboration with someone else who stopped writing).n that time, the second longest I can recall between updates was about five years for Sailor Moon Z to finally be finished, and the third longest I've seen has been about four years, although I've seen several stories take four years for the author to get back to them..
I thought it was only 5? That was one of the fics I had in mind, along with Sailor Moon Z.Same author, I had to wait 8 years for Children of An Elder God to end (though apparently that was partly because of the fact it was a collaboration with someone else who stopped writing).
She does?
And on a related note, how does one stab people's sicknesses to death? Because that's a canon power. She could be the Panacea of stabbing people
But really, can she stab people healthy? Or is it just appendixes?
Shiki viewed the sickness as a living thing. That's what allowed her to "cure" her target.
Not to mention, 「Shiki Ryougi」 capable of healing any injury as she even offered to restore Mikiya's lost eye.Shiki viewed the sickness as a living thing. That's what allowed her to "cure" her target.

Just search for Void Shiki Ryougi.I'm sorry, how do I google 「」?
For some reason, the 「」 part is very, very important, and considering Shiki's many, many issues I think knowing the difference might be a tad important.
Doesn't that ability work along the lines of "cut away/remove the event that caused the injury in the first place", a la Orihime Inoue? Not to mention, 「Shiki Ryougi」 capable of healing any injury as she even offered to restore Mikiya's lost eye.
Not quite, she's at a similar tier when going all out but Orihime was more reject the existence of something then kill the existence of something.Doesn't that ability work along the lines of "cut away/remove the event that caused the injury in the first place", a la Orihime Inoue?
Nothing against Orihime as a character, but are we sure she's in the same tier as Shiki? Not quite, she's at a similar tier when going all out but Orihime was more reject the existence of something then kill the existence of something.
