I just have a premonition, but are you having too much fun playing Fate/Grand Order?

I know it has been taking much of my freetime.
I actually haven't even downloaded it. It's mostly been visiting family, trying (and failing, which has been super discouraging and utterly killing my motivation for anything) to get an internship in Seattle, and reading a lot as a way to try and distract myself.

Tattletale would lose it if Taylor suggested blatantly breaking a Grey Boy-style bubble.
Good thing that's not what happened, I suppose.

Bakuda's bombs just stop time, not loop it. There's practically no reason Jack would give a damn about that (it's not like anything's happening to the capes that're trapped and, from another point of view, they're actually being protected) and, for that matter, it's only fanfics that say he'd care even if someone did anything to Grey Boy's victims. If anything, freeing people just ends up giving him more targets.

Oh. Well, I'm currently just enjoying using Saber, Emiya and Waver.

I've got Waver, Gil, and SEKAI DE ICHIBAN TSUYOI DAKARA as my front line myself. I'm gonna pass on Okita gacha cause she's in the New Years guaranteed one. I'm passing on Brynhildr cause my alt on JP got her in the 2nd Anniversary guaranteed gacha (EEEEEEEEEEEE!).

My main got Void Shiki, so whenever I go to farm exp dailies I just turn on them Mystic Eyes of Death Perception and insta-win.

But the ones I'm saving for are Jeanne Alter and Merlin. Those two... until the CCC event and BB-Chan get added to NA, Jalter/Merlin is basically THE meta.

RAHHHHHHHHH!!!!! I THOUGHT THIS WAS AN UPDATE! PAGE FINISHED FASTER THAN A VIRGIN ON PROM NIGHT!

That said, excellent choice on keyboard.

Um, why did this even happen? Tattletale would lose it if Taylor suggested blatantly breaking a Grey Boy-style bubble. The "cutting things" schtick alone puts Taylor on Jack Slash's personal radar. Getting rid of a time bubble implies she could get rid of all of them. Meaning she could, with trivial ease, free a number of former victims. That goes from being on his personal radar to being on his personal to-do list.

The more likely scenario is that Tattletale would figure out how to make sure there weren't any witnesses.

Perhaps Tattletale is a public-spirited individual who thinks a Taylor/Jack Slash confrontation would be good for the world, on the off chance he actually cared?
(He's certainly not scared of them... he might feel annoyed that someone is undoing his "art" though.)

Anyway, narrative causality demands they meet at some point, so maybe Tattletale just can't take the suspense of waiting.

...

Why do people see a notification that "The OP, ensou replied with 140 words to the thread [...]" and immediately jump to the conclusion "omg update"? Oh well, at least SV isn't uptight enough about peoples' false sense of suspense to casually lock threads or something? Still seems a bit funny to me, but then I mostly read things on fanfiction.net so maybe there's something very sneaky that I'm missing which I'd know if I would only hang out here more.

So I was reading earlier pages, and I came across a lot of comments mentioning the resemblance between jack slash and Taylor.
But there is another possible superficial resemblance I think you guys have missed:
Someone suggested Taylor could teleport by cutting the distance between her and her target.
So they see her swipe her blade, and teleport.
Much like black kaze.

If she can pull that off she will have jack slash and black kaze comparisons going on

Lisa already realised Taylor can easily became a second Black Kaze. I think it was when she met her after she killed Lung.

Hmmm...
That's not what I meant.
I'm talking about the resemblence that will be drawn between their powers

I'm pretty sure Lisa was talking about how black kaze broke and went on a huge killing spree, and that, as her power pointed out, if Taylor joined the wards she would have a psychotic break and... text which I'm pretty sure says killkillkill

Im talking about power resemblances that will be drawn, Lisa was talking about how Taylor's possible further actions and mentally would be black kaze like.

I may have interpreted that wrong though

Uhhhhh... maybe?

What Taylor would be doing in that case is permanently killing the space in between her and her destination. I... don't think that would end up being remotely good for the surroundings.
On top of that I am aware of no MEoDP user that actually could kill space itself. Not even Balor, the big daddy mofo who had the precursor to the MEoDP which he could use to literally glare people to death.

I don't know if it can actually be pulled off, but the conversation suggested it would be a teleport and then new space would come in to replace the dead space. I don't know if it's actually possible but I found it interesting. Plus space is rather difficult to perceive the end of so if imagine there being quite a bit of difficulting on getting yourself to perceive it with the eyes.

I doubt Taylor could pull off spatial manipulation. As stated before, space would be difficult to perceive, and it's also stealing Vista's shtick.
Also, if she figured out how to cut away space permanently, wouldn't that mean she would basically have ZA HANDO?

It wouldn't be so much killing space as killing "the distance between me and X", which is an ever-changing fluid concept, and thus not truly effected by being destroyed as it's recreated in the next moment.

So destroying the distance between "me and that building" will not destroy the space or matter needed to cross it, but remove the fact that there is distance between the two.

If you've ever read A Wrinkle in Time, I imagine it as tessering, traversing two locations instantly by removing the fact that there is any distance between them. In the book it's done by the (subjective) folding of space-time (aka 'wrinkling') so that the points are adjacent in the theoretical five-dimensional manifold our continuum exists in, where as for Taylor it would be a fact that there is no distance, thus she must be there.

@ensou How hard would it be for Taylor to pull off a Subtle Knife impression?
Not very hard at all.

But she would need to believe that she could cut the barrier between realities to do so, which she isn't quite at the level yet. Plus the fact that she might not be able to close any hole she creates...

She'd only think about doing that if she had a good reason to, and she really doesn't considering how she wants to stay as distanced from cape-things as possible. If someone told her (like Lisa), she'd probably be like "huh. okay." and then go on as normal.

A portal to other earths that can't be closed, without being sure which world is on the other end? I can't imagine why that wouldn't be a good idea...

Because Taylor's thing is destruction?

Best case scenario she utterly wrecks the barrier between two worlds

Worst case? All of them

An Amy-route Solution by Abhorsen
Yep, I'm screaming bad idea here. She can't cut a hole like the subtle knife, she can only kill things. So I bet she could kill a subtle knife portal, but not make one. She could end the barrier between worlds, but I don't think she could cut a portal to one. Maybe cutting the distance between one place and another, where the second is in another world?

Ooh, and sign me up for shipping Amy and Taylor because I just realized Taylor can solve all of her problems.

Taylor: Hey Amy want to go on a date?

Amy: Can't. Busy saving people.

Taylor: Nope. Everyone's healthy now.

Amy: What.

Taylor: I killed disease.

Amy: But what about...

Taylor: Nope. Killed all of it.

Amy: What.

Taylor: Well, I was completely miserable, and depressed, so I killed my depression. Then I went 'Why stop there,' and killed all depression. Then, not being depressed, I realized I wanted to date you, but you were busy because of disease, so I killed that too. Also I killed addiction, which solves that... other problem.

Amy. How did yo-

Taylor: Oh, easy, I just killed me not knowing everything. Anyway, how does this Friday sound?
