Normally I wouldn't be opposed to conversing with new Abnormalities, but why is one of the worse options winning? Especially after what we just learned of X's sudden Mortality.
I'd like to bring our attention back to something I think is important, personally. It's mostly conjecture, but even so I feel like people need a bit of a reminder 'cause...
Abnormalities aren't just. Things that spit out enkephalin and EGO. They're living concepts, and X's nature means integrating more EGO into her probably isn't just shifting her personality here and there as she resonates with the abnos. I think integrating the right ones can and will influence the final result of her alchemy fuckery.
Like say, Schadenfruede, as an embodiment of concealment and containment and general "Don't open the murder box you fuCKING
MORON", might help delay the next major episode by virtue of its nature helping X keep a lid on her own murder box even as it tries breaking out. I'm struggling to put together what the others might do, following this assessment, but honestly I do think Shchade is the best one to grab at the moment, if we grab one at all.
Getting some of the 'contradictory' ones that were mentioned might help too I think, carve out a metaphorical space of 'cats can have a little uncertainty. y'know, as a treat' or something? And whoever mentioned Apoc Bird's Long Arms? I think there's something there. Not a permanent solution, but another delaying tactic gives X even more time to shift her inner alchemy about some more and find a way to fully convert herself into something that
isn't a walking talking mass of Genocide Bingo In A Box.
As for receiving ones we already have... Furthering X's understanding of them might maybe help her figure out more things that can be done with their EGO. IDK, tho. I've spent my inspiration for the time being.
