It is passive in a way, but the opportunity to go to the Library is a direct consequence of our actions, so I don't think its too much of a stretch to justify handing off things to someone with better capabilities and free time if nothing else in that scenario

While it is true that X was able to manage the Sephirah enough to notice their problems and what to say to them, as well as know enough about the Agents under her command to be able to do favors for them, that was under the condition that X had the full day to deal with things (and now we have things like distance and Abnormalities to deal with)
To be fair though, no matter how this shakes out, I doubt Lepidoptera will be making all of them stay around us, if literally nothing else that's way too many characters to write about and share screentime lol

I thought about it... But from what we've seen so far, it's more like talking to sleepers. They understand who they are, but their thoughts lack direction - probably almost none of them have mastered the trick of using Gem as a "brain".
But even if we were to get around that, it's a terribly stressful situation to make rational decisions. I'm afraid that many of them will make the decision "Give me my body, NOW!", unable to think about the long-term consequences of this and regret it later. The existential pressure will simply be too much for that. In a cloned body, they would have time to think things through.
Well, even if only one of them decided to choose the cloning option, we would still have to build the equipment to do it. So you can just go all the way to the end.

Speaking of other things... Since we're on a timer with all the Abnormalities and the coming of the Witch Queen, will Homura use his power to give us enough time for the time skip? Something like how the TT2 protocol used to be?

Honestly, I'm not too worried about getting stuck in the library because it was stated as somewhat infinitely big and the sceneries are in fact intractable. So I'm going to go wander in the technology floor city.
But thats me, some of these girls have family that they want to go back to, Friends that they want to meet again and a life that they are not ready to left behind for a library.
But I imagine Angela will not be a asshole and not tell them the consequences of choosing a light body.

None of the MGs themselves have the know-how to tend to the psychological needs of several dozen traumatised teenagers and pre-teens, much less give each of them the attention she needs. X herself already stretched herself thin just looking after 'her' five, so adding more will eat up her time like nobody's business. If it were a handful, maybe even ten or so, I may not be so doubtful. But with that many, this is something which needs a dedicated support structure.

With magic being hidden, Abnormalities being complete unknowns, and Japan being Japan, this support structure will not be found there.


In addition, I firmly disagree that sending them to Angela is the boring option. Honestly, I would call it the smart option because it does not actually risk being noticed by either the authorities or observed by Kyubey, like Cloning does. It gives the girls their bodies back immediately and allows to start on their recovery now instead of later. Also, as the opposite of boring, it gives X another incentive to visit frequently and tie the two sides of the crossover together.

I agree with Naron here, we managed to take care of 5 girls and even then we had slip ups, like not telling Sayaka about abnormalities, or not watching Homura's state of mind enough, there is absolutely no way we can take care of more than 30, which get us back to putting them under the care of the library once again, since that means more people to do it, which is the most important part.

It gives the girls their bodies back immediately and allows to start on their recovery now instead of later. Also, as the opposite of boring, it gives X another incentive to visit frequently and tie the two sides of the crossover together.

Here's a vote Tally, by god it's a mess.

Everyone agrees on Kyouko, but between those that are not voting by plan for the soul gems and the others, the result is very dependent on how Lepi wants to count this.

Edit:

Particularly, it depends on if my vote is also counted with Library for the gems, and if the plans are the only ones that counts or if the other votes do to, if only the plans counts (doubtful), mine wins, if we count by options and the plans are set dressing (more realistic unless Lepi gives a warning, it would ignore too many otherwise), then it really depends on how you count what is cumulative with what.

It would help to decide if all vote should be by plans or not, no matter which side, but it's for Lepi to decide.

Basically, if we all vote by plans, then it's clear and we can ignore the votes that don't, and if we all vote without plans, then those that did can simply revote with the option voted individually, to make reading the tally easier, the problem is with the fact it's mixed.

Time skip, It makes this point inrelevance because this is not a immediate thing, we need to find out how to get to The library and Angela by that time have gathered enough energy I presume to at least fix up some of the floors.
Of course, this can be easily knocked down as how can we make sure, but Angela, unlike mom and dad, are competent.
And although dad and mom are assholes, I don't think dad will really let 36 kids die just because he refused to help in some way.

Considering that Angela isn't using other Abnos to power the complex, it probably won't be that easy.

What about the vote... To be honest, in my opinion, there was no reason to vote on the plan from the very beginning, given that both parts are almost unrelated to each other. It always turns into a mess every time it happens. Given what we've seen, the author will most likely just count the votes together, regardless of the format.

-Active and with our own body, which the abnormalities of the library aren't.

-Not just an abnormality but also a head librarian, and the position do means something, especially since we have our own floor that explicitly is themed around the old facility, facility who was powered by abnormalities. Not even counting that this floor apparently obey us more than Angela, which is quite a feat since it's her own EGO right there.

-Actually willing to help and negotiate, we've seen what happens when you try to get energy from an unwilling abno, it's our entire backstory.

The position of head librarian matters because it means we have our own floor, floor that has been explicitly noted to obey us more than Angela, this is important no matter what.
