Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

Semi-Canon Omake: The One Ring
[X] Destroy the evil ones, keep the rest
[x] write in:

you stare at the endless vault of horrors before you. Part of you wants to simply let loose, to eradicate such wrongness from the world. Then you remember a demon terring through the town, and the legions of such horrors behind it.

"So, some of this stuff is like the one ring right?" Karn nods and you run your tong over suddenly dry lips. "but the rest of it is just what, magical nukes?" karrens voice is hard to place when she respondes "the safest of them would be closer to a dirty bomb." You wonder if this is what oppenheimer felt like, and for an instant you deeply resent that Karen passed this choice to you. But in the end, humanities only had one answer to this sort of question haven't they?
"mankind's been here before. Holding something new and immensely destructive debating weather or not to use it. I wouldn't trust anything with it's own agenda, but the stuff that doesn't have an opinion on how it's used? As far as I can tell that stuffs no different than what mankinds already stockpiled."

You turn to Karen "You want my advice? throw the one ring into mount doom, but the nukes are nothing new."

I feel that we should elaborate our point here. since we are pointing out a nuance Karen seemed to miss, so we could be clear to communicate exactly what that nuance is.

Uhhh ... That's a weird one to vote for, is it even valid?

Seems you missed a post. It's a namevote, specifically for this.

I'm aware, the contents of the extra writein seem Abit... Presumptuous?

it's a thing I in a few quests I follow. The playes can elaborate a bit more on a choice by writing a paragraph or two of the scene to spell out what they are aiming for. It's useful for dramatic choices like this because it conveys exactly what the players intentions are. Even if the GM vetos it as a write in, they can write with a better understanding of what the players mean. It also sometimes ends up with some pretty badass scenes.

Considering it got threadmarked as a semi-canon omake, I'ma go with 'no, not really'.
... Huh how about that.

This is a test.

We shall not let her down.

Let's go the wise route.

[X] Have Karen point out all the evil artifacts to you
-[X] All of those have to go; destroy them
-[X] Once that is done, have her select a few of the weakest artifacts; you will keep those, just in case another big problem comes around and you are busy
--[X] Destroy the rest.

yeah, the write in was intended to go with this vote, I did not reilze it was counting my vote as something else.

Shit, does Karen even know what she's asking here?

If we don't destroy them, the weapons are available for use... but if we do destroy them?

Alpha and Omega destroys matter and energy around us, yes - and turns it into energy for our own use, growing our own personal power.

On the one hand, evil, semi-sentient weapons of mass destruction. On the other hand, Cerys with even more power. Yikes.

Best to split the difference, I guess.

Now to go back to writing an update.
