Magical Girl Quest - The Fire That Burns

Just remembered: Are we still getting training in how to sword fight? Cause we should hopefully be better at swording things soon.

Of course Karen will want to talk to her soon, but we have as much time as we want to have on talking to her here.
Plus, again, she is not stupid. She knows what shock and loss are, as well as how to treat someone suffering from it. Especially with how tense relations to Cerys are at the moment, she will not take another risk by trying to rush the new girl.

I think our training is currently on hold.
First there was the whole cleanup in England... and then Gaia spirited Cerys away before we could get back on track.

I... I never really realised that Knight's Aria increases our Spell damage as well...
Good thing that it does, though.
There was a talk about this on Discord while the update was being written. Rukia always intended for it to affect the stats of our spells too, but had worded the ability in a way that suggested otherwise.

So... someone asked about what to spend the EXP on and suggested Alpha and Omega.
I took a look at the sheet and... I think we should either save it for now, or see about getting more milestones.
Even though we did not get a receipt, there is also this:
Halt
-Halt all movement from the target.
Level 5
Base Damage: N/A
Magic Modifier: N/A
Affinity: End
Ability: Lockdown
The last line is important here; it evolved to Lockdown, which means that most things will not escape us now. That is okay for now.

Right now, we have 642 EXP and all the damage we need, plus Halt works well enough... ugh, I really want to spend some more on that and Plasma Sphere...
However... looking at the rest, we could also push...

-Infinity Edge to lv10; Cost: 360 EXP
-Knight's Aria to lv10; Cost: 360 EXP
-Plate Armour to lv10; Cost: 135 EXP
-Reinforcement to lv10; Cost: 135 EXP
-Flight to lv10; Cost: 360 EXP

Basically, if we want to, we can get three lv10-Milestones at most. Upgrading anything beyond that with EXP is just not viable with what we get at the moment.

My personal preference would be Infinity Edge and Plate Armour while saving the remaining EXP for now. Those were neglected for quite a while.

I'd say that for now we should save our EXP whenever we can, and try to take as much advantage as we can of the fact that practice levels up stuff quicker when that stuff is still low level.

Yes.
I probably should have noted that my opinion on the above post was mostly in regard to what to spend on in case we want to spend.

I just hope we get back to a point where we can train again.

Ehh... I'd say put Reinforcement and Plate Armor up but leave the rest. After all it's hard to train Plate armor without getting in fights and taking hits yeah?

May as well take the easy road for those two then, after all, we get plenty of opportunities to nuke the fuck outta things already.

Good point on Plate Armour.
However, I do have something about training Reinforcement prepared ready, so we would get that up pretty soon anyway. Besides, the 5% we get out of it are not worth the EXP in my opinion.

Personally I lean more towards Knight's Aria. It doesn't seem like we can actually train KA for some reason, so buying some more levels could be beneficial. Especially after seeing what KA can do to Cerys' damage output.

But that is Daiyu's KA.

And... honestly, Daiyu herself can take more than enough damage already.
With Cerys on the field, she no-sells ~10k physical and ~7.5k magical damage at this point already.

Rukia levels up Daiyu's KA at the same rate in which we level our KA. She also didn't spend as much XP as we did, so she still has plenty of XP for KA.

And her damage negation is cool and all, but the Demon invasion is closing in and I'd prefer to spend our XP training things that can't be trained through normal practice. So far that's KA and Armoured Soul. Plate Armour is also a valid option. The rest can be trained naturally.

It's a more significant use of our xp.

First, where did you get that tidbit?
Second, we can also just save the EXP for now and spend it on those options later; they will not grow stale from disuse, after all. I am not saying to throw it all on something we can just train, but right now there is no dire need to level.

Although assuming that ours works the same way that Daiyu's does, it's value will increase if Daiyu learns a defensive spell that has a Health stat or a Base Resilience stat.

Here it is.

I am quietly running DaiyuQuest in the background, don't worry about managing her XP or stats.
If you train Knights Aria with her, you will both gain a level up.

Those were just the initial notes I have, I'll write it out in proper when you buys it, as state it does that.

Neither of those are holyshit things.
An Achievement has to be something Important.

Like soloing an entire city, or a Dragon.
Or something soon

Fire =/= Electricity
You can try though

EDIT: This reminds me that the "something soon" invisitext likely meant the Peluda could have given us an achievement.

But we took the easy way out and one shotted it, so no achievement for us and the XP gain was very low compared to what we could have gotten.

why not just ask then

@Rukia if we level up Knight's Aria will Daiyu level KA proportionally? Does Daiyu ever decide to level herself up by herself, or does she only use her XP when we do?

Daiyu will usually keep enough xp spare to level up KA to keep it even.

She does spend xp on her own, she bumped her flight up to 7 while you were gone.

Also, vote's are pretty close.
