Today on SMTV,
- I met some tomboy who decided she'd follow me for a while,
- I picked up some apples,
- I fought Lahmu twice,
- I got stabbed in the chest (i got better tho),
- I stabbed Sahori in the chest (she did NOT get better),
- I fought Daisoujou and Hell Biker (won deathlessly!)
- I did some side quests,
- I finally unlocked my seventh Skill Slot,
- I got Almighty Mastery 2, and
- I rescued Idun!
So, that brings up to my conundrum.
I have no idea what to build for.
I've just been pumping Strength because punching people hasn't let me down yet. Any tips or recommendations for my MC or my demons would be greatly appreciated! Also, I have about 50 Gospels now. I could just be Lv. 99 right now if I wanted. Should I use any of those, none, or just a couple as a treat?

Golden Apple is one of the best skills for a long while. Full party buff to all stats + healing.

As for Gospels use them when you don't want to grind. Otherwise keep adventuring.

You motion for Shoji to hang back, just in case things got south. While your mind is on the "worst case scenario" track, you also swap out Lorelei for Devil Dog.
Devil Dog looks a little frustrated, but instantly returns to business as usual when he spots the unknown demon.
"Excuse me, miss?" You call to her as she walks in front of you. The demon turns to face you, revealing her cyanotic skin and piercing red and yellow eyes.
"...May I help you, human?" The demon asks, eyeing you cautiously.
"You may, actually!" You smile, clearing your throat, "I'm here on behalf of the city, and we noticed the construction of this new castle. I'm just here to make sure that you have the correct forms filled out for it, as well as the permits to begin building."
(CHR ROLL: 12+10)
VS.
(ENEMY INT ROLL: 10+3)
"Oh? I was not aware that such things were required." The demon replies, "However, I am not the one who owns this castle. I am but a simple servant to its monarch."
"That's okay, I'll just need to speak with him about it and make sure everything's in order!" You smile to put her at ease.
"Of course, madam." The demon bows slightly, "I shall show you to the king, follow me."
You grin at Shoji, who rubs his hands together to warm them up.
After following the demon into the castle proper, you spot a multitude of Jack Frosts, among other cold loving demons, scurrying around and working dutifully.
...Not the Jack Frosts, though. They're just kinda... Putzing around. Seems to be a theme here.
Shortly after making that observation, you find the throne room. The demon that led you here ducks inside for a moment...
...Then comes back out. "The king will see you soon, just after he is finished with the other human who trespassed."

You're one of the last ones to show up, which surprises everyone. That doesn't mean you're late, but you've been left the worst seat.
The floor.
"Thanks, guys!" You smile sarcastically, flopping down onto the carpet.
"Hey, you should've been here earlier!" Kyoko jabs from the couch, "I was here first, so I got first picks!"
"But you live here, Kyoko!" Sayaka, nestled between Madoka and Kyoko, defends you, "Plus, I bet Yumi was beating up some demons before this!"
You grin, "Atta girl!"
"Kyoko, are you already halfway through your popcorn?" Madoka asks.
"Mind your own business." Kyoko moves her popcorn away from the prying eyes of Madoka.
Homura sits on a chair from the dining table, quietly waiting for Mami to return with the movie. She doesn't say anything, but you can tell she wants to.
"Sooooo," Kirika kicks her legs like Yuma does, "What kind of movie do you think Tomoe is gonna come out with?"
"Rotworld." Oriko says casually, "The original, not the cash-grab "remake" from 2010."
"...Wow, wanna tell us the ending too?" Kyoko sneers.
"Well, the--?"
"Don't." You calmly tell Oriko.
"Understood." Oriko nods, glancing over at the door. "Ah, your friends are here, Yumi."
One second after she said that, Shoji and Kohaku enter. Shoji offers a quick wave before finding a nice spot, while Kohaku sits right next to you.
And just after them, Yuki walks in.
"...I thought you said you didn't like movies." Shoji says.
"Oh, I don't." Yuki replies casually, "I can barely sit still enough for a twenty minute episode. I just came for the snacks, and the option to MST3K."
"M... Mystical Space Typhoon?" Sayaka asks, clearly confused.
"Mystery Science Theater 3000!" Yuki exclaims, "You have that here, I checked!"
"Just because we have it doesn't mean anyone watched it." Homura says, "Now take your seat, you're blocking my view."
Yuki flops down away from everyone.
"So, um, besides Mami, who are we missing?" Kohaku asks, looking over everyone.
"The janitor!" Sayaka says, "...Uh, I mean, Kazuya."
"He's the IT guy." Madoka looks disappointed in her friend.
"Uh, yeah! That!"

"Blueberry, you need to get your head checked." Kyoko states.
After a while, in come Kazuya and Cerberus. Cerberus picks a spot and lays down, and Kazuya rests his head on Cerberus's belly.
"...What?" Kazuya asks everyone staring (and squeeing) at him, "I used to sleep like this a lot back in Tokyo."
"I have been promoted to pillow yet again." Cerberus seems content.
And finally, Mami steps out of her room, DVD in hand. "Okay, I hope you're ready for scares, everyone!"
"Can't be worse than Witches!" Kyoko shrugs, "Bring it on!"
"Bloodshed! Guts! Chunks of bodies!" Kirika chants.
"Perfect!" Mami smiles, putting the DVD into the player, "I'm gonna finish up on the snacks, make yourselves comfortable while the previews play!"

"...And that's why I entered your domain." Mami finishes, her arms wrapped in ice, "I was looking for Witches, and not trying to harm you or your subjects."
"Hm..." The large, round demon holding a regal staff stares down at her, "...Well, you didn't hee-hurt any of my subjects, so I'm inclined to believe you, ho. However..." The adjusts it's grip on its scepter, "...You still trespassed on my propert-hee, so I gotta punish you somehow!"
For as bad of a spot as Mami seems to be in, she's keeping her composure quite well. "You are the king of this land, after all."
"Hmm..." The demon rubs its chin, "Just killing you seems a bit overboard... And really, your onl-hee crime is being bad at directions... Eh, I'm sure I'll think of something! For now, you're gonna watch my dealings until I come up with a proper punishment, Hee-Ho!"
