Lots of invisitext in this update! it's meant to be missed, but you missed it first time around, please re-read a second time!

This update was brought to you by talks with fellow QMs and was delayed by my stupid, stupid World Geo class.

Reread and god the void is very much an emotional parasite huh.

I'm glad we got another form change but rip to our bestie Akemi oof.

Whelp not risking Rei rolling really good and Kira rolling real bad in this contested checks for social stuff no siree.

Atry: …what the hell?
Red_I: Oh, things just went from 0 to 100 much too fast for my liking. Rei, be careful here.
Fuma: You all live like this? Oh, I wish Master Shien was here already…
Welcome to the madhouse that is Rei's life, Sec Six Sams! It was like this BEFORE the Wonderland Hackers showed up.

I am torn between Full Disclosure and Plea For Help. The chance of a Secret Mission is....very tempting.....

Also glad that we can apparently actually create more effective plans via write-in now!

Now now everyone

Write In's Do exist for a reason and I trust out Spirits' advice. We can have out cake and eat it too!

[X] Plan A Honest, if Reluctant, Plea for Aid
-[X] Be honest about how that effected you- especially because you know what that was mostly related too.
--[X] And be honest- you... you don't know Kira very well but the fact that she tried? Tried to help you, tried to help Akemi? That means a lot to you. You don't know if you can at least begin to Trust Kira's colleagues like you can begin to trust her.
-[X] Offer Kira a choice: You know what that meant, and there is a lot more then it. Honestly someone could make a Shonen based around all of it. Offer her time to process this before you explain everything, tell her now, don't explain at all, or what she wants to there. You can see it in her expression. She at least deserves a choice in all of this.
--[X] No matter her choice... you want her help with all of this. You want to Trust her. Of course if she wants you to leave you will- that's her choice and you have no reason to be upset with that after all of that.

Each of our spirits have a point. It's too late to be Dishonest. It isn't wise to go too fast. And why wouldn't we ask the Authority figure for help?

I hope this write in combines each suggestion, plus my own view of giving Kira the choice, out in the open, as well as placing an emphasis on wanting to Trust Kira... I hope this is the best way forwards.

And please! If you have an idea on how to improve this route? Please modify this plan to your heart's content!

Yes im out of class and its an update! Let's see what happened....
O-O yeah... that sure looks like a critical failure. Also hi SSS, welcome to the madhouse that is Rei's life. As for the options...
[X] Full Disclosure
[X] Plan A Honest, if Reluctant, Plea for Aid

I'm willing to play ball with both of these. Hopefully we wont need to spend EP. But im going to hold my breath.

Omake: Actor Interview New
Authors note: I have 0 clue how to make this, so I took some inspiration from a Kermie Omake in another Quest, hopefully it looks good.

Perhaps For Love, Or Maybe Justice Actor Interview:
A Konami and Toei Collaboration

After years and years of asking the world-famous company of the Yugioh series to make something akin to an animated series using the very cards they produce, in a surprising twist of faith, Konami has decided to partner with Toei Corporations, the father of the Super Sentai genre in order to bring the latest in the line of Kamen Rider and Magical Girl Media: Perhaps for Love or Maybe Justice. Taking inspirations from the Japanese superhero scene with a Duel Monster twist, PfLoMJ (Quite the Acronym huh?) has taken the world by storm, with many fans both is the eastern and western hemispheres. The use of gorgeous CGI, interesting writing and seeing a beloved TCG/OCG used in a new and interesting way has made fans of many a duel monster and Sentai enthusiast, all hoping to see what will come next.

Heck, I've only seen the original Duel Monsters and GX era of the franchise and even I am anxious for more.

I'm Sol Cristell ( SolarGemX isn't really a reasonable name) and on the behalf of the Animax television network, today we bring you an exclusive interview with various actors of the show. Hello everyone, why don't you introduce yourselves!?

Rei: Hello, my name is Rei Maruki, and I play the role of Masked Warrior/Striker Roze in Perhaps for Love or Maybe Justice.

Akemi: Heya! Names Kaneko Akemi and I Play the Ex-Assassin Nobelle [BLANK]

Himari: Yello Hello! You can call me Himari Kuromi, and I play agent Foxglove in the Show, although that name is going to change very soon.

Jun: Hey. Names Jun Akimitsu and I Play the underworld broker that has helped Rei escape her original job and is now involved with three gremlins in this show.

Himari: You know you love us.
Jun: Yes, like a group of cats that know they can get away with annoying you.

Akemi: Ahh… you do care.

*Cue laughs from all the actors*

Hehe, thanks for the intros, everybody! I got to say I never expected Konami of all companies to make a Sentai Series, this show has a lot of firsts. First show that isn't about the titular duel monsters, first time we don't have a Yu- as the main character, heck first time we have a female character as the lead protagonist! Speaking of which; Miss Maruki how does it feel to be in the role of main protagonist of this new series?

Rei: It was kind of overwhelming at first. Just as you said, this is a first for many of us Yugioh fans, a series not involving the card game as the main premise is a risky gamble. From what director Kermie has mentioned, they nearly didn't get a green light to start the show, but after some deliberation they got permission, as long as the director made sure to follow some guidelines. Not only that, but I also almost didn't get the part.

Oh! That's news to me, could you elaborate on that?

Rei: Sure, you see on of the first request the Big K decided on was that they wanted to use the appearance of one of their monsters as the main protagonist, specifically one of their more "Lore" extensive archetypes. They brought out cards like Visas Starfrost, Fallen of Albaz, Chosen of the World Chalice, DiabellStar and Sky Striker Raye/Roze as possible templates. Many of the producers and writers wanted to use either Chosen or Albaz as the visual template for the leading role, but after some back and forth between Director Kermie and the writers, Sky Striker Roze was eventually chosen.

Aahhh, I see what you mean. If any of the male cards had been chosen, they probably would have not given you the time of day. Thank Ra, they decided on Roze huh?

Rei: Yes indeed. After that entire process and a heavy audition, I managed to snag the part of main lead, not only that, but I also managed to impress them enough alongside a fellow actor that they decided to have the secondary lead be a female as well. Three guesses who that other actor was.

Akemi: Guilty as charged. I remember that whole process, I managed to convince Rei here to take a shot at the role and lo and behold' she beat me to it. But apparently it was a close thing, since I didn't even leave the lot before they offered me a new role as the main lead's best friend.

Oh my, that's quite the tale! And what about you Miss Himari? Where do you come in, in all of this?

Himari: That's the neat thing, I don't. You see I actually auditioned for the role of one of the main adversaries, Agent Foxglove, not only that I was supposed to be a recurring nemesis throughout the series, but after the writers went crazy with the fight scene and had me Rider kicked into a mountain, they realize the may have gone overboard. So, they needed to decide if I survived or not; and then someone suggested me being captured… and the rest is history.

Jun: Heh, I remember that whole meeting. After they decided they wanted to capture Himari instead of finishing her off, they decided to have me, and Rei interrogate her. In what I admit may have been a coffee induced idiocy I completely went off script and improvised the part where I convinced Himari with Videogames of all things. The Director found it hilarious and kept it in.

Haha, I'm starting to see where the Himari and Jun memes originated from. Hmm, speaking of fan made stuff, we do have some questions from said fans. Let's see here how about, this one! Lunar Crystal Y asks: How do you decide which monsters are chosen for Rei's armors? Hmm, this name sounds familiar… Oh! Now I remember I do believe this is the alias of an OVA (Side-World Building) Writer for the TV show Project Prometheus, incredible show by the way. I do think the Director has also written a bit for it under the alias Piggie… Any who, any answers Rei?

Rei: A yes, the armors. Since the directors did want to add more Yugioh inspiration into the show, they decided to make the armors based on some of the duel monsters, as for the process of choosing the monsters… hmm, all I know is that Director Kermie and some of the Top Writers like connecting the cards to their sources. Since this was a Sentai show the first picks were divided between Heroes, Emblema and Fallen of Albaz, with Emblema coming up as the winner in the end. The Maliss armor was a last-minute addition based on the cards that had recently come out, Director Kermie loved the aesthetic and Konami wanted to promote them so two birds with one stone as they say. And as of the most recent episode, we have inducted the Secret Six Samurai into the fold as well. The armors and monsters will honestly depend a lot on how the series develops, but eagle-eyed fans will probably be able to guess the potential spirits aligned to each source.

Ah yes, the titular monster spirits, the primary thing that called the attention of many fans of the card game. Speaking of which I do believe one of the fan mails we have here asked about a particular archetype, The Labrynth Cards and their part in the long-awaited Akemi episode. How was that chosen by the way?

Rei, Jun, and Himari: *Snickers*

Akemi: *Dead look in her eyes*

…I'm sensing a story here…

Rei: Oh, you have no idea… Let me set the scene. As you are probably aware, many fans were eager to meet Akemi after she was touched upon one of Rei's flashbacks. But, as episodes continued on, people began to get antsy as Rei Struggled to find any info on her, not helped by the fact I may have improvised the line saying she was a stealth expert. Director Kermie wanted us to reunite already, and the writers wanted to delay it for a little longer.

Himari: Tell me about it. It was a whole back and forth. After the whole "Defeat equals friendship" thing and the following bonding scenes, people were honestly thinking Akemi was dead and I was going to be the second lead, thank god that didn't happen.

Rei: Exactly. Anyway, at the time we finally found out that the next episode was going to feature Akemi, but the writers also wanted to have some action, and the director agreed. The were planning on making a more generic monster of the week for confrontation, but then something happened. You see, before the script was finalized, Akemi was playing some ranked matches in Master Duel, and she ended up losing 5 matches in a row, all to trapdecks. Three of those losses were to Labrynth players, so she was a little frustrated and let it slip that she hated trap decks, and wanted to punch the Labrynth cards in the face, just as the Director was in ear shot. And in what I can only call malignant compliance, he agreed. Come the next episode we find ourselves stuck in the Welcome Labrynth and Akemi gets separated from us. Himari and I were able to go on with some difficulty, unearthing some lore and what happened to make the place so deadly to begin with. Akemi on the other hand…well you saw the episode.

Akemi: *HIISSSS*

Jun: The director and writers had to hide for the entire day after that, Akemi was on the prowl, and she was NOT happy. We found it hilarious though.

*Struggling to not laugh* *Cough* I see, my condolences Miss Kaneko, no duelist likes playing against a hated deck, but at least you got to see yourself punch them!

Akemi: *Grumbles* I guess… It was a great episode though; it even became a pseudo-Himari episode due to her kicking so much butt and the ending scene was one of my favorites to be honest.

Of that we can all agree. Oh dear, we are almost out of time! I would like to thank you all again for this interview and for being a part of a great series. Here's hoping we get some more seasons after it.

Everyone: No problem, glad to be here.

Well, this has been an interesting time, we learned some insider secrets, fun lore and got a glimpse at the writing process behind the show, but I do believe its time for us to head out. This has Been Sol, signing off.

Perhaps For Love, Or Maybe Justice Actor Interview:
A Konami and Toei Collaboration
An Omake inspired by an Omake which was inspired by another Quest entirely… it's peak. Hell yeah.

+50 EXP, +10 EP. I'll be back to update the informational pages tommorow.

Huh new Omake from Solar?!

Wow! I'm really surprised but also that was really good! Nice job Solar!
Bro, you should see how he's been doing in Project Prometheus, this other quest.

More than 12 omakes from him there, 6 omakes from me there, and I think ScorpioSting made at least 4. Shit's awesome.

The concept of his actor AU interview was actually partially inspired by my own Omake there, I believe.

Ok, now I'm going to do a shameless plug because I got sidetracked and I'm really excited ; read Project Prometheus. Rei's actually a canon character in that universe (yes, really), it has one of the best representations of gender dysphoria I've ever read, a good chunk of the reader base over here read that as well and— oh who am I kidding, just read these two recommendations on the user reccomendations thread and then read it.

LucidProp's
Mine

It's literally peak fiction. Go read it.

…my ADHD just possessed me guys, don't ask what Kermie above me just posted. Go read it though, they're still objectively correct.

When someone (hopefully) finally gets around to making that TvTropes page, there's going to be a "Defeat Means Friendship" entry that is just "Himari was supposed to be a recurring antagonist, but after getting knocked unconscious by Rei in their first meeting she was convinced to switch sides through the power of actual food, a planetarium, and Smash Bros. The author was even caught off guard by this development."

Huh new Omake from Solar?!

Wow! I'm really surprised but also that was really good! Nice job Solar!
Thanks! It was possible thanks to Kermies template, I just added some of my own writing to it.
Bro, you should see how he's been doing in Project Prometheus, this other quest.
I have no idea how I've made that btw. I started a profile here thanks to The Remnant of Arcadia, just to post a couple of things. Then I see Kermies first recommendation and I immediately fell in love with the quest. Thanks to good omakes giving points that can help with rolls I decided to make an omake or two. And then I got the urge to make a Hero team in another place than the main setting and... it kind of got out of hand. By the 6th omake I think the creator made some of my omakes canon as a TV show of all things in story, so I made a promise to make a full 12 "episodes". I'm actually waiting on the 12th one till a bit more story occurs, since I'm going to write about the main team. I think it helps that since its based on hero teams and the planet earth I can just throw a dart on a world map, read a bit about it and make a team appropriate for the place.

The concept of his actor AU interview was actually partially inspired by my own Omake there, I believe.
Got it in one Kermie.

Well... I guess I know how I'm spending tonight now.

That is a lot of omakes, and after reading those recommendations I'm just gonna give it a read.

I mean just hearing about spawned a character idea in my head (I love tragic characters with powers that mess them up as people) so we'll see how that grows and changes once I read the entire thing!

And while I was a bit hesitant to mention this (didn't want to take away attention from Solar's wonderful Omake!), I've actually had an Omake of my own sitting around- Though not sure if I should wait until I complete every part of the small series to send it over or not though...

Also: You aren't going to use Traptrix for anything are you? Just making sure :3

Ahahaha you are going to adore Project Prometheus. So many fucked up characters. So much tragedy. But so much love as well.

They're actually still in the "undecided" pile. If you want to write an Omake, I can replace their intended appearance with someone else. Ragnaraika is way cooler anyways.
