One of my plans was for the Shelley emotion bomb powerset (assuming it's something along those lines and adding Chatroom would let Shelley pull emotions out of other people to make them) was to pull out Leizi's guilt and Maddie's grief into a bomb and chuck it at SM in the hopes that we Sorrow from MGS3 him, making him feel shame for all the lives he's taken, Apiary's included.

Assuming that psychic attacks are still Hit checks, this is looking like less and less of a viable plan.

While I like this idea, that would be kinda out of character for Shelley. She'd be more likely to give everyone on JU a buff made of determination rather than The Sorrow anybody.

Now, Fran, Himari, and Akemi on the other hand…

It was a soft cap, owing to Leizi's training being Stat x 2 for the DC, so once she would be at 10, the DC would be 20, which, once you account for the gap between the stat and the check giving a malus, would be impossible.

Though the fact that it's soft sort of implies that stat bonuses gained from, say, equipment or snagging one of Power's power-enhancement shots or whatever would allow us to go higher.

...well. I suppose that helps explain why Silver Valiant thought that a power armor that can negate powers would be necessary to kill Scarlet Maturity. Methinks that we should start seriously looking for someone with a high Tolerance soon. We're going to need that EXCEED-BEYOND working soon, I can just tell.

Find a high tolerance or train up a medium one. But yeh this fight shows why we need to prioritize E-B wielder as next Powerhouse.

Why is him phoning it in apparently 4 times stronger than the most powerful fighter we could ever have?
That's just the check for the fight, not his individual stat. That stat check is more an abstraction of the situation: "He's a lot more powerful than all of you, but he's putting in the minimum effort he thinks is necessary."

If this was just him vs Lady Leizi, the HIT check would be a lot lower, but with a higher gap between the DC AND Leizi's HIT to represent, "He's way, WAY, stronger than you but he isn't trying to kill you and thinks this fight won't take much effort." Probably like a HIT 12 check.

You can exceed 10 on stats, but not through training.

Alright, something of an order of operations.

We need to do Break Glass and then give Henry a power.

Once we do Henry, we can work on starting the Demon Flamez mission. Sparksurfer and/or Jorogumo will be nice to have, a hero is a hero whether we make one or recruit one.

We need to do Magical Girls so we can get that high-tolerance candidate, and a more long-term G9 solution. R-Train as well, but that'll come later.

We have our alliance missions to work on for New Dawn, too.

Yeh Maddie on 3rd person is a bit to risky to me but her and whatever gadget nora had to counter 3rd person should work.

Thankfully Handyman should be an amazing counter for the shorud so we can do without mona on that mission.

Next turn i think meet the rookies is best as a downtime mission. We need to grind rep to hepefully get max candidates on cenotaph. and we need a pr person now that dominion and powrrs is solidly an enemy.

We have advantage and a +5. There is a decent chance of… not dying I guess.
