You are jnventing meaning where there is none to suit your position. "He knows it well" = he's well familiar with it.
Disguising ourselves as a random akuma / fae beast with flight capability is easy
1)No I am not.
The text speaks for itself. The Ebon Road is not an unchanging environment, and the writeup I went to the trouble to provide for you explicitly speaks on how hazards like Spectres and the Unfaced can differ in density.
2) No it is not. I checked.
Making that claim implies you either didnt check, or you are misremembering.
Flight is Rare among these people. Wingless flight even rarer.
Akuma and kueijin dont get flight without either a winged demon shintai, Jade Shintai 4 over a leyline, Storm Shintai 4 in the real world with sufficient wings to lift a person, or a Yama King Investment that gives them that winged demon power in their normal forms, and at that you're looking at 25mph IIRC.
Demon servitors who fly are winged but relatively slow.
Fae beasts do not appear to exist in Yomi Wan, and very few of them fly without wings; those that do are themselves associated with Big Fish. Like Sleipnir/Odin, the Reindeer/Kringle.
It may be a moot point now, but I'd like to correct the record.
====
Sandstrike is cheaper, and has a single target mode, and I think faster.
Things to consider.
I like Sandstrike Blast for its versatility and efficiency. Super powerful Charms and Sorceries are nice to have, but not particularly useful if you can only use them under perfect conditions or at great expense.
Sandstrike Blast is cheap to activate, lasts for the whole scene, IIRC, and has both single target and AoE options. More often than not, we're going to want quick, cheap effects that don't inflict massive collateral damage to the surroundings, our allies, or innocent bystanders.
I think our perfect attack would be a better offensive purchase to start with. We're picking fights where that sort of thing is very helpful if it isn't outright necessary.
Sandstrike Blast is faster to use, cheaper to use routinely, the targeting roll is DC5, it has both single target and Fuck That Football Field modes, and its AoE mode has a range that is Line of Sight.
As a ranged offense buy, its well ahead of the other contenders IMO with regards for priority.
Sinner Boiling Stare is a perfect attack, but it costs motes per use, and only targets a single person at a time.
The weapon charm is more flexible and has a way higher high end for things like cracking high end defenses, or making armies go away, but would require Molly investing in Firearms to use it in anything other than an AoE fashion.
Oh, and Sandstrike Blast is the cheapest to buy.
Sandstrike Blast: 2 dots unfavored: 8xp
Sinner Boiling Stare: 3 dots unfavored: 12xp
Principle Invoking Onslaught :3 dots unfavored: 12xp
Flight of Obsidian Butterflies: spell: 10xp
Essentially, we could buy Sandstrike Blast, and still have 2xp to spend on raising Abilities, or to spend on an Ox-Body or Rage Recast Aspect. The value proposition is stark.
That is a good point.
I'm just wary of giving anything unsoakable levels of damage, since default WoD characters have almost universally only 7 health levels.
Base Shikome, Kumo Huntresses and Raksha of Ravana have 7HLs. However:
Children of Tou Mu: 8HL
Fat-Striders of the Hell of Boiling Oil: 8HL
Demons of Iron and Violence of Mikaboshi: 13HL
Corpse-Tiger Demons of Wu Hua: 15HL
Even a base Fomor only needs the Huge Merit and one iteration of the Numb mutation to be running around with 11HLs under combat situations.
Admittedly, things have probably already escalated to far on the powerscale for that to be a relevant worry. Still something to keep in mind, that we could then kill someone like Arthur Langtry or any other senior wizard without serious permanent self-alterations with a look.
Langtry is an old Senior Council-tier wizard who has been a target for older than Molly's father has been alive.
I would not be surprised if he has something like Kattrin's final spell in his back pocket to help soak unsoakable attacks.
Not a perfect, but something similar.
People of that tier likely have similar tricks to survive the kind of aggro they tend to pull.

COMMENTARY
Not that it matters, but under these conditions Transcendent Lord of Flies would have activated for that conversation.
Bringing the DC down to 3. So instead of rolling 12 successes, Molly would have rolled 16.
Nergui has Dragon Tears 2? Huh.
That means he has Dragon Tears 1, which means he has both prophetic dreams, and recognizes persons of potential importance in the Great Cycle. That explains certain things.
The Death-Aspected Exigent was triggered by some of the things she saw along a path that explicitly perverts death.
Pretty predictable, and one of the self-evident reasons to have avoided it.
Im getting the impression Arawn hasnt been here, or didnt tell her about it.
And we tripped the random encounter roll. Also as predicted.
And hence, Molly is about to be down 15% of her Essence pool even before getting to the Wicked City, because we deliberately chose to pick the approach path that would run us into conflict.
We certainly cant stand around and fight; that will cost us more Essence which we may or may nor replenish with Murder is Meat, and the Essence expenditure of a fight would have Molly glowing for the rest of the scene, and that would both attract more predators, and give her presence away to absolutely Everyone.

QUESTION
1) The zombie template in ExWoD doesnt have a set movement speed.
Whats the movement speed of Lydia's Hands in this AU?
Can they keep up with her, or would Molly be leaving them behind if she only picked up Lash and Lydia?
2) How many Hands did Lydia bring? What do they weigh?
This is with regards to Molly doing Mind-Hand Manipulation calculations.
