We were straight up told. "The thing you lack is a front line that can adequately screen for the back line." "But what if more Libra-S" is not the answer to that.

My hope is that by taking End of Line, we can get at least 3 free Infrastructure builds, which if we put into Void and set it up as our Fleet Anchorage, we can now make Heavy Cruisers and achieve hull parity with Neon.
 
I also just don't think it's going to fix things. We'll get more ships, and there will be more reasons to pull back on doing anything interesting, just like there always is, besides the specific situation as it stands on the voter side.
 
Like to lay my cards on the table, I'd personally prefer the Other Pyskana because I think it might be a pathway to fixing the Choir situation, but that's not the choice I have to examine/consider.

TBH this is a little hot take for the setting but I just kind of don't like religious order military groups in general
 
I still think we should do a faith action in the next 3-4 turns, but I can get behind crash-rebuilding our front line ships. Though, would it be worth upgrading the Crux, or not quite yet @Alectai ?

There's not enough time for it to win, but it's a fun Faith thing while ALSO potentially helping us with our Choir shortage...

    We can use a action next turn to complete that since it'll be at .5/2 after the current one.

    But we still need more Crux because what we are lacking is lineholders that can hold the enemy in place. The Lamenters' ships are specced towards boarding and speed/maneuver, not slugging it out. So we still need oodles of Crux frigates to be the bullet sponges.

    Either that, or we start designing a new Light Cruiser that can do some tanking.
