We'll be in the thick of it next turn, but this should put us in the best stead possible to seize victory. Trade 2 Lupus class with our flotilla to get the Kil'drabi Battlecruisers in the initial push, and we'll have
almost Five Emperor-class Battleships worth of insane lunatic tier fighters backing 2 SAGs each with state of the art armaments ready to go, and two surprisingly chonky brawlers to work with the rest of our fleet for best effect. Those state of the art armaments are likely also going to give us an edge in seizing an FOB in Brotar by a boarding assault.
The point here is to line things up so we can punch them hard in the nose, and then keep punching until we hit a hard target. We'll be able to field a 22 ship flotilla with probably comparable mobility on the Subsector scale, that should far exceed anything they'll have in place anytime soon, and we can design the Super Taurus next turn in preparation for any further campaigns.
They should have
absolutely no awareness of how insanely dangerous the Super Libras are, and if we're primed to push hard, we're liable to do enormous damage before they can get their shit together enough to retaliate. Maybe even enough to make them sue for peace if we're fast enough.
MI 3 should be sufficient to meet our immediate needs. The point is forcing the frontline out of our doorstep, especially since they won't be quite as nuke-happy with their own territory.
