My biggest criteria for Our tank program is if the Tank looks 40k, and not just basic sci-fi tank #6752.
Half the fun is the Rough'n' Rumble Sci-fi WW1-2 vehicles,

[X] Plan: Don't make me come over there!

going with Alectais

They totally are though? It's not like manpower is precious to them.

Ships are, but only to a point
They treat it as a resource. And keep in mind that this is a bunch of imperials cut off from the wider Imperium. So they might be a little bit more cautious about spending ships that they know they're not great at producing large numbers of.

--[X] 4x Lupus-class Torpedo Destroyers

The plan's been revised, we can take advantage of our glut of Aries-S to be our screen for now, but having a wing of torpedo destroyers to punch up with will be beneficial if we get jumped by two Light Cruisers.

I'll admit, one of the things I'm worried about is "What happens if they just decide "Damned the damage and damned the cost, we're going to sink that carrier at all costs" ", which having amore Crux-classes won't actually help us much against (Because they don't have the burst damage to disable a ride-or-die Light Cruiser on a one way trip, and don't have the mass to stop it either)

I hope it doesn't come to that, the Imperial Navy is one of the handful of imperial armed forces that does allow and encourage a controlled retreat rather than fighting to the death, at least for anything heavier than a frigate, but these might not be IN regulars controlling these ships.

[] [Military] Fill Out The System Army Groups - (0/2)
With the military reorganized, it is time to begin a standardization across all our systems to fill out at least one SAG.
(Gain: All Systems currently fully controlled have their SAGs filled to 100% strength. 4 SAGs in Total.)
say what happens when we get 1 out of [] [Military] Fill Out The System Army Groups? we only get half the benefits or do we get nothing until we allocate the 2 actions ?

also we now control 7 systems right? so thats 7 SAG's in total?

The other systems are too newly settled to produce SAGs of their own, I think.

Broadly, I think next turn will be finishing our armament program (Infantry equipment + SAG), and then our third action either getting a pair of Crux-classes or designing our pathfinder ship.

EDIT: I think the refund is just a general fund that we can cash out on when we have a full action's worth?

personally i would like to get away from WW2 designs
russian style tanks still have that rugged unpolished feeling fitting for 40k

a scify T-14 or T-90 would be cool

so should we wait until the new systems are fully integrated and we research tanks and new weapons + armor, so when we standardize SAG's everyone gets the benefit of producing better weapons, armor and tanks?
We have Neon building up beside us looking like they're going to jump us. We might be able to wait for tanks and infantry equipment before finishing the SAG action, but not for the new systems to be fully integrated.

That's fair, I just want to maintain the rugged, Heavy armoured brick feeling, and I really hate the idea of just doing a Basic Scifi Abrams #53647 for our tank. It doesn't fit the feeling of the setting, or even our faction because we pull most of our tech from Dark mechanicus stuff, Imperium stuff and such, and while the ship was understandably, I dislike the idea of going Sci-Fi smooth with our tanks.

Should we also build up some of our military units next turn? Now that we're fighting things that aren't Orks I feel like we should add a Sabotage unit, as that would actually really hurt the Neons as unlike Orks they need to rely on Logistics and stuff.

It'll be really hard finding gritty sci-fi that isn't some level of abomination if you're removing the sleeker aesthetic or the "Just fancier MBTs" from the table.

Yah, I am google searching for possible pictures and Aesthetics (Because just saying I hate X, and providing no alternative is dickish), Hitting on a few option so far but most things in a 40k style are just 40k.

EDIT: had to make a whole different pile for, Cool aesthetically Fitting Spidertanks

Spidertanks would be great for environments with high verticality, but not for open field warfare which is generally what you need tanks for in the first place.
