Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

I've been wondering for awhile now but how would the soul killer charm interact with the wheel? Would Molly be able to permakill the rebels in the FiveFoldCourts?

@DragonParadox What was your ruling on the coffee we can make before having to use AP on it? Couldn't find it anywhere.
I think we could use our soulkiller on them I don't think we should mostly because they are awaiting their revelation that comes in the form of fire and sword. They're not really Rebels so much as a religious sect they are people that need to be convinced by force because of their religion and the fact that no one actually dies so the grand Warden being able to kill Village after village, town after town, Corridor after corridor of people means that they are the controller and Grand Warden of the labyrinth. It's another face of the queen to be.

Yeah but if it turns out that's not enough I think we should soul kill them and see what happens.

Also, how are we feeling now about a possible Stargate to our hell? We have a perfect shaping defense so trying ritual shenanigans in our hell would be pretty pointless, and there are some pretty good precautions we can take-

1. Have the Hellside portal not within the Cities, but within a base in the Frozen Wastes. Maybe the interior Wastes, but either way it would mean that anyone who sneaks through the portal would still have to reach civilization somehow, and any army that manages to make a foothold is dead in the water, especially with Molly having lord of the land.
2. Having checkpoints with required implant interfacing will make it exponentially more difficult for infiltrators to navigate or leave said gate-facility, since no other faction has anywhere near the technomancy skills besides maybe The Wicked City.
3. Self destruct mechanisms are obvious, though it wouldn't kill any invaders in our Hell, just scatter them.
4. Having highly limited designated transports to this facility, full security at both ends of the checkpoints with a whole magitech worlds worth of security precautions.

Now, are there beings that can get past all this? Maybe. On the first, second, or third attempt? Almost certainly not. The Fivefold Courts have a lot of unique properties that would make any attempts to infiltrate require A Lot of time researching countermeasures and trial and error, and that's a timescale in which by the time they DO figure out ways to do so Molly will be far more powerful then she is now.

As for why? Troop transport and trade obviously, the Molly bottleneck is very limiting.
It's been talked about at length. I'm strongly opposed because it's basically like an open IV port to our soul while we're swimming in a public pool.

Security can make it better, but the vulnerability isn't a small thing and it would leave us open to situations like targeted assaults while we're focused somewhere else.

Lord of the Land is great, but not unbeatable. The Denarians, for example, successfully launched lightning raids into Arctis Tor. Where Mab has among other things control of time.

I'm also concerned about people using it as a guideline for finding alternative routes to out hell, among other things.

At this stage it's not really worth it.

Would you say that Alch 1 products are basically soda-level cheap, Alc 2 pharmaceuticals, Alch 3 very expensive pharmaceuticals, Alch 4 really only possible to get in small doses with great connections, and Alch 5 basically 'You know one of the handful of Alch 5 Alchemists personally'

What we should do is conquer one of the neighboring hells and use it as a passageway. Also I look forward to the next time we use IDU. Now that I have managed to collect up a bunch of splat books I think that I will be able to make something myself next time. Right now though Yog's plan works very well. Uju32's plan also works, but I just really want to see Favor of Molly play out.

Oh yeah the vote.

A few of these abilities like the teleportation requires willpower to use. How is Olivia going to regen that other than once per day? Is there some mechanic about Yog's vote that I'm missing?

I don't think so, she has 10 Willpower so at least she has a good bank, but she will probably just have to be careful about her uses for the most part.

Qiao of the Meng more specifically the second step.

She has to learn it but the Po soul would boost that.
Can you be more specific? Is this something she can use in between combat for effective regen? What are the mechanics exactly and how long does it take to learn?

Mind Shield, Clairvoyance, Teleportation and Psychic Invisibility all require will to use, and some enemies can drain your will so if she doesn't have reliable regen in between bouts she may not be useful in back to back or prolonged fights. Which doesn't mean she'd be useless but it's something we'd have to account for.

Pretty sure Mind Shield doesn't have a WP cost, at least from what I see. If anything, it preserves WP because it stops you from having to pay WP from failing to throw off mental attacks.
The others though, yeah she can't spam them all as she is now, but as long as she is careful she can make it a few engagements before becoming criticaly low in WP in a row. Most of the time she is just spending for Invisibility and maybe one Teleport?

The second dot power of the Meng Qiao allows a person to make a difficulty six roll to recover willpower at a rate of one willpower per success. Holden's alterations to the dice pool involved to be willpower so it didn't directly interact with excellencies means she would be rocking a 10 dice pool to recover willpower with hellweaving assumably she's spending and trying to recover this willpower in our service so she would be making it a difficulty five which means if tens don't double looking at an average of five willpower gained for a single hour of meditation if tens do double it's about 5.5 or 6 because we're talking about whole numbers for a single hour of meditation that's assuming she doesn't have any other difficulty modifiers that might help.

Wait, all of those require Willpower to use, Willpower which recovers at a rate of one per day?

Wow, that's awful. And it would be a deal breaker for me if I was voting for Yog's plan.

Of the current allies, only Dresden has the same potential... But his potential stuck behind arete 6 and a rework of the higher spheres.
Harry's main problem is behaving like an Exalt while being a wizard. Maybe if he was using Ars Magica instead of WoD mixed with Dresden Verse laws he could have been more of a brute. Or at least if he had a very different magical education instead of more or less classical White Council fare.

He should be thinking and acting as the most scummy sonovabitch to ever grace this Earth with his presence instead Harry tries to beat people and monsters by smashing into them face first.

How does months to years translate to one Arc? An Arc is like less than a month and Olivia has other things that take up her time.
It really depends on if she's coming with us to Adventure or not because the XP ShakeOut is what actually determines what gets bought if that makes sense Devismar more is on our side and he can teach the Qiao. If she has the XP we can spend it on getting her the bridge of meng she is supposed to be a circle mate at least that's the idea.
