She's competent and powerful enough that luck and enemy action could see her escape if given the chance. We should kill her now to prevent any future troubles she might cause.
Maeve might be taking her to Winter, but I am betting that it'll be Mab who will be asking questions after what she pulled today. If not Mother Winter herself. There is no guarantee that Maeve will be able to hold Sandra, nor that Sandra won't be able to pull off one last act of spite if given the chance.
Mab, who has a frozen torture garden, where she keeps special prisoners. The same one we escaped from fairly recently.Maeve might be taking her to Winter, but I am betting that it'll be Mab who will be asking questions after what she pulled today. If not Mother Winter herself.
This is THE biggest attack on reality in the last five millenia or so. Why? Because if it wasn't, there would be a Dawn elder running around by now.
Winter will be asking all the questions.
That is what I mean by too much credit unless you think Sandra also has CCC.Mab, who has a frozen torture garden, where she keeps special prisoners. The same one we escaped from fairly recently.
I'm not sure what makes y'all think what happened once can't happen again.
No, but she has extremely powerful backers. Sure, they could decide to cut her loose after failing in this latest endeavor, but they could also decide to expend the resources to try to get her back. That is what I mean by too much credit unless you think Sandra also has CCC.
I want that Maeve favor. Favors are the most potent form of currency.Even if it's a small chance, that's more than enough cause to end her now.
We want to know what the Outsiders Hourglass is and where Sandra got it from. It could lead us to other integral Outsiders plots. She's competent and powerful enough that luck and enemy action could see her escape if given the chance. We should kill her now to prevent any future troubles she might cause.
Honestly kind of agree. Who knows what the Sin Eater might do with spare power."Gracious Majesty, you should not extend such benevolence to this pawn without asking for fealty..."
Implying that the Outsiders don't have a ton of those already. They'll most likely just use some other strong pawn rather than waste assets to try and free a specific disposable one.A powerful, willing agent who can operate freely is probably considered far more valuable than most Nemesis puppets.
I do get what you're saying but without God himself or a shaping defense helping her there's no way for her to escape that prison. The fey are just straight up capable of making Wizards forget they know certain magics outright. Never mind all the body twisting and general awful shit that can just go down when you're in their places of power. We only got out here because we're an exalt who had the help of God and a powerful wizard on our side. In Cannon Molly only gets away because Dresden someone the queen of winter wants to enslave offers more debt to her for Molly's life. To be frank the threshold of getting Sandra back when she's in Winters hands is destroying winter at which point it doesn't matter that she got released. Finally even if they did manage to recover her in that scenario there's almost no way that you'll have her mind intact enough to be a useful servant anymore. No, but she has extremely powerful backers. Sure, they could decide to cut her loose after failing in this latest endeavor, but they could also decide to expend the resources to try to get her back.

Unfortunately not as useful against the knowledgeable as you might hope. The connection can be broken by shaving your head and taking a shower.on a bit of hair taken from the back of her head by usum's blade kept in case she needs to be tracked down later
That is almost certainly true but for some reason I do think if she manages to escape Winter's custody a shower and a shave are not exactly the first thing she's going to do though to be frank I think if she ever leaves Winter's custody it'll be as a shambling insane person, barely a shadow of herself, incapable of casting spells rather than someone we really have to worry about.Unfortunately not as useful against the knowledgeable as you might hope. The connection can be broken by shaving your head and taking a shower.
The reason I wanted hair is because one it doesn't go bad two I do think like the deadline for The Outsiders to attempt to do anything to retrieve Sandra in a useful state is pretty tight. Enough so that the blood wouldn't go bad in that time. In all honesty humans are just terrible at dealing with being tortured and the types of shit the winter fey get up to is considerably above even that never mind the fact that mind magic done on people destroys them. In my mind giving her to Meave is to condemn her to a slow torturous death. No more than she deserves for trying to kill everyone else instead of just slitting her own throat like every outsider worshiper and death cultist should but it's still a really tight deadline to retrieve her in a useful fashion.Blood is much harder to break the connection because it would require well bleeding out all your blood and replacing it. Maybe some large scale transfusion?
However blood replaces naturally so it's only good for about 120 days.
If we really want a strong connection that doesn't wear off and can't be broken. And we don't care about her health then we should take a finger or a tooth.
Puts a another spin on that option to save Slate at the beginning of the quest. We rescue him and as soon as he leaves the Never-Never he turns into goo. Did anyone bring that up at the time?I think people are forgetting the nevernever is made of ectoplasm if she's there long enough she won't even be able to leave unless she's kept in stasis or something.
Arthurain times is not all the time. We literally had multiple mellenia before it.I feel 5 millennia is an over exaggeration yog. Though didn't dp basically retcon that two queens have died in the past by making Maeve as old as Arthurian times? Cause in canon the death of two queens is what had Mab becoming a queen who is and her sister. Since two queens apparently died in quick succession about a thousand years ago but centuries after whatever made them fae had happened. But, here since Maeve's been around the whole time would that mean only one lady and nothing else has ever died?
In fairness if someone could keep someone in stasis it'd be mab in her place of power plus slate is the winter knight so who knows what kind of control Mab has over him.Puts a another spin on that option to save Slate at the beginning of the quest. Yes the comment was about the former queens in canon dying a thousand years ago I'm fairly sure that was a bigger deal and the courts as they are were made in Arthurian times.Arthurain times is not all the time. We literally had multiple mellenia before it.
