...wait, didn't the Lamenters win by, like, a lot?
Yeah, so Grom is just a standard Ogryn, not an Alchemical-Enhanced one. Doesn't mean I can't use him in an update.
Edit: To clarify, the Lamenters are still the winners of the Vote, but they are (currently) a singular Dreadnought that did a Lamenter and is out of munitions and freaking out since the container with the Gene-Seed is damaged. So he is busy preventing it from bursting and killing the Chapter for good. Grom here is just a bog-standard Ogryn that exists as a character because I liked the name.

[X] "Yes. The Celestial Choir Shall See Us Through."

Chaos is at its most dangerous when it can be subtle. Remove that and it becomes a lot less of a problem.

[X] "Yes. The Celestial Choir Shall See Us Through."

Increased Chaos resistance? And a choir of skilled psykers to fight for us outside of our system? YES!!!

a choir of skilled psykers
*Self-taught amateur psykers that will develop their unique brand of psykana as they go.

Wait, can we turn grom and any Ogryn we have into the genetically enhanced warriors that we could have chosen but didn't?
As I said, you can make 'em all into Bone'eads and thus vastly increase their intelligence to that of a four year old human.

Oh, the weird annten description throw me for a loop.
POV for that description was through the general lens of the people on that station. You must understand that they do not have a lot of concepts we have, and vice-versa. To them, a sky would be utterly incomprehensible, and a bunny appearing on the station would be so far out of context that Tzeentch probably had a hand in it appearing. So Bnuy got a fitting description from their POV.
