No she didnt.Maeve pretty much did, though. And no, this isn't the equivalent, because we don't know how important these two guys were to Tommy's organization.
Maeve doesnt act in Mab's name. Nor can she command the armies of Winter; there's a reason why Mab's second in command is her handmaiden Lea.
Like I said, the effort it took to stage the ambush extends way past two men with RPG launchers on the Strip.
No.No it doesn't. It requires two people with access to the armory or the way to get weapons somehow to be suborned. Nothing more.
It required an entire operation to find and locate our warparty in the 2.9 million-man population of the Las Vegas metro area.
That is not trivial and requires a major mobilization of organized crime resources in Las Vegas.
I mean, for a supernatural, thugs arent hard to come by.
And this is the US, which is a land where you can buy ARs off the shelf at a gunshop and mod them to fire full automatic. If Sandra or her cohorts simply wanted a deniable hit, thats what they would have done.
I am sure of no such thing.Molly, Lydia, Tiffany and Harry are a combination of powers unique and strong enough that I am fairly sure they can be tracked when together. Why is magic right out? Sandra was right there, could act as a spotter, and likely has some of (mortal) Molly's stuff to act as a focus for sympathetic magic for the purposes of tracking. I think it's rather safe to assume that she'll always be able to track Molly.
Wizards cant even be detected if they arent actively using magic if you dont touch them; Dresden missed Elaine Mallory when he was in the same room with her, and didnt recognize any of the three strega in Blood Rites as magic users, and didnt realize Molly was using magic until after the fetches kidnapped her.
Ditto Demons; if they arent working power, they arent obvious.
Same is true for most Exalts who arent actively flaring their anima banner.
The only person in that roll thats explicitly detectable is Molly, and as far as Im aware she cant just be tracked by her aura; its something I think we discussed multiple times during other story arcs.
Magic is right out because even Dresden, White Council wizard and investigator who did finding spells for a living, required physical samples of the person or item he was looking for in order to find them.
When Molly was kidnapped in Proven Guilty, her old hair didnt work as a tracking focus because it had aged out.
He had to use Charity's fresh blood, IIRC. Its been seven months since Sandra disappeared from Chicago. Nothing she might still have from Molly would be a valid focus.
Which is both a poor choice of priorities(party security first, social effectiveness second, not giving offense dead last), and a misunderstanding of how Egyptian mythology works.I am putting people who don't give off "is evil" on one team to talk to the guy who might react badly to said evil feelings, and the people who give off "is a fallen" / "is a yama queen" feeling on the other team.
Guardian demons are a thing in Egyptian myth. So are demons working for Egyptian gods.
Not everyone has a JudeoChristian outlook on things.
