Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

If we do bring those civies into our Hell and the Vamps too for that matter we really need to put a bag over their heads and stuff their ears or something so they don't snitch.

[X] Trade him elder bodies for it (Opposed roll to decide how many)

I'm not sure I agree with trying to redeem BS. On one hand he could make a great asset down the line and we already have ghouls and vamps under our employ anyway.

On the other hand if any of those ghouls or vamps steps out of line or relapses we should be able to easily de escalate the situation or if worst comes to worst just kill them and use their remains for crafting. We can't do that with BS he's too powerful...
I'm not letting the vamps out for at least decades.

Bind and grapple all PoWs and evacuees, shift them to the Brass Courts for 2m, and return to the plane
Returning to the plane is the hard part there. We can play our focus music in our concealed earbuds to get to the FFCoF, but it won't be playing in the plane for a return trip. Unless you really want to tell Broken Seeker what conditions we need for our return? I'm sure he wouldn't try to use that to set a trap for us later.

If we ever got our hands on the noose what would we even do with it? In character while potent there's no way we could justify using it. Can it be sacrificed for parts or something?

  • Redirect the plane for the nearest coastline
  • Loot the plane of everything of interest: Papers, briefcases, luggage, laptop computers, potential foci, bodies. Bag and tag.
  • Bind and grapple all PoWs and evacuees, shift them to the Brass Courts for 2m, and return to the plane
  • Have Wings fry the flight recorders, then crash the plane in deep water, burning out the electronics as it does so
  • Then head home by RVD

Preferably Seeker will be gone by the time we start moving people
We probably want to take measures to ensure Mexican authorities don't try to do something like send a fighter to follow the plane, even if such a case is unlikely

That's a lot of pollution.
It is quite literally a drop in the ocean compared to the pollution that is thrown in every day by humans

Do we have any charms that could do something about the Texas sized trash dump in the ocean?
We could make it much much worse if that's what you are asking.

Although given that it is an environmental hazard in a place of desolation any effort we did do to clean it up would trigger TLoF for a -3 DC to all rolls.

Edit: Barren Waste Inflection could do it with 10 human sacrifices and a boat load of essanse if we have any body of water in our kingdom big enough.

The destination does not need music playing; its you that need the music playing(or humming for that matter).
That's a lot of pollution. I am inclined to have them fly wherever. It's not as if we have any hope of keeping this secret.
Less pollution than from your standard cargo ship.
I wouldnt worry about it.

No need.
The Mexican Air Force is large, but most of its aircraft are transports(<30), helicopters (almost 100) and turboprop trainer aircraft(160ish). It has four (4) fighter jets.

Not really something to worry about.

technically if we could transport it to our hell we could just push it over the edge of nothingness.

The place probably has some major powerful dark beings in it though if we actually wanted to deal with it right?

We could just delegate the plane problem to Wings. They might figure something out and if they don't no big loss.

Arc 9 Post 31: Patchwork Partnership
Patchwork Partnership

21th of November 2006 A.D

The air, thin and cold though it be, tastes like an abattoir and Seeker is its eager architect. To give him more treasure is to make him that much stronger, but also maybe, hopefully, that much more likely to heed your words. Is that worth it? Is it the right thing to do or is it just hubris to think that you could turn him around from a dark path he's been walking since before men learned how to pour molten gold into molds?

"How can it be Hubris Majesty, Deathless and Eternal when thou art a goddess?" Usum asks, sounding confused.

You start to scoff at the flattery and then remember that five billion people think as he does. Not the time to think about it, so not the time. I need to get these people to safety...

"It's yours if you want it." Before he had even finished putting the bracers away you add: "Can you patch up the hole once this all snaps back"

Curiosity sharp as a tiger's claws glitters in his eyes, but the skinwalker does not ask the obvious questions, instead he kicks up his feet in one of the few intact chairs, leather and steel groaning under his bulk. "I can do better, restore the pressure here so we do not alert the Red Court's puppets with a dive."

Even though you had already handled that the last thing you want to do is discourage Broken Seeker from being helpful.

Thus he gets to work tearing the skin and flesh off a fallen vampire's arm, then twirling the humerus in his hands like a baton as he murmurs spells of wind and frost in a tongue far out of mortal knowing.

It takes less than ten seconds before your ears pop at sea level pressure though somehow all you had felt on your skin is a gentle breeze. As the tainted spirit looks to the broken door, now covered in Sanctuary-forged brass brought into being by your presence and will you see the tensing of Seeker's shoulders, the way his brand new serpentine tail lashes the air and know it's not the chair that's to blame. He is afraid of me... No, not quite, he does not think I'm about to stab him in the back or else he would not be putting so much of his focus into the magic, he is weary of the implications of what I am, of that I might represent for the balance of power in the unseen world. But is it bemusement or some kind of recognition? That's the million dollar question and the one you dare not ask for now.

Instead you withdraw your influence from the broken door and watch as steel melds with steel in an almost organic manner until there is not even a hint of a gap there. Having observed all of this Wings of Aetheryc Spite does not need to be told to level off, which also saves on fuel to go... Where? Where are you going to go? The vampires have to go to Sanctuary for their own safety as much as the safety of others... but the half-bloods, the Red Court's former victims, the plane?

[] Bring everyone, except Broken Seeker into the Fivefold Courts, strip everything useful or valuable from the plane, then have it crash into the ocean

[] Between Auspicious Wings of Spite's piloting skills, your telekinesis and Broken Seeker's air magic you're sure you can land the jet on a stretch of highway in the desert, take it apart and burry it. Maybe you will have a use for it later.

[] Write in

OOC: The vampires are still going to have to leave this plane of existence if you take the second option, it is just everyone else does not get the visit to hell with the potential information leak on return.

Good to see that BS has a growing sense of wariness in regards to us and our power. It doesn't cancel his inevitable betrayal, but it should at least postpone it for some time.

It does ensure that he will be very well prepared when he eventually comes after us though.

He's had prices in gold and blood today and he only grows stronger for it.

I don't think we want to keep the blameless mortals prisoner.
So let's make sure they don't learn anything valuable so we can let them go without too much trouble.

I think your making a fairly big assumption that he will come after us ever. Naagloshi are essentially scavengers picking off weak prey they don't take risks and thats what fighting us right now when we're drained would be. Much less when we also have time to fight him. Hes unlikely to poke us for a fight he goes for weak prey not shit that can fight back. Not to even mention any time he has is time for us to get exp he is not gonna be getting an easier fight with prep time.

-[X] Rig some explosives to make sure Auspicious Wings of Spite is not trapped in the sinking hull, and as little evidence as possible remains

Maybe we could talk to the mortals first?

I don't really want to take them into our hell if they're going to want to leave in the near future, but if Sofia is any example the red court deliberately preyed on the vulnerable and probably destroyed what little they had before being taken.

Some of them might want to come back, but it's possible that our collection is primarily composed of people who would take a fresh start somewhere the red court can never reach them or would otherwise agree to spend a decade or so there at minimum but retain the right to return after that. By that point basic information shouldn't be an issue, and honestly I'd be more concerned about them petitioning for whoever they'd come back for being allowed to join them than actually wanting to leave.

The more of them that take that deal the fewer we have to transport the mundane way.
