Into that Vast and Unrelenting Darkness (40K Xeno Civilization Quest)

The currency we use for diplomatic agreements is called Respect, and I believe we are quite low on that with the Autonites at the moment, so unless we want to be held over a barrel by someone with a fraction of our resources, we should handle their pressing issues before we seek to formalize relations.
We are quite possibly in the negative for Respect quite potentially for not actually helping them with the glaring issue of basically their entire race being under the thrall of a virus for almost 2 centuries after telling them we'll help them.

Like people really need to get perspective. How pissed off would humans get if people that promised help to free their family that's in slavery and then ghosts them for decades at a time with the occasional scraps sent their way to lead them on? A generational hatred would be quite easy to imagine.

Industrial espionage is frankly a extremely mild response.

People also have to realize that the one that did the stealing was only one of them, which is the one that does not trusts us at all.

So far, every plan has us doing the Archive action. It won't net us the golden ending, but it should help prove we do want to help them. We just need to be more proactive about it.

Hopefully we can get the golden endings rewards still, even if it takes us longer.

The problem was that we never said when we would help them, and because they were robots we always thought they could wait a little while longer. Leading to our current predicament.

People also have to realize that the one that did the stealing was only one of them which is the one that does not trusts at all.
Didn't Ijin shoot the manufacturing instalation?

We have no formal bargain with the autonites. We can't because we have a refugee pop we talk to, not a nation state. What we clearly didn't understand was that the autonites were/are in crisis mode. I.e. a drawn out version of the adventure and negotiations we undertook with the khimer and exodites prior to the treaties and arrangements we had with the khimer and space elves. We've been treating them as stable, and clearly that's not how they see it.

The problem was that we never said when we would help them, and because they were robots we always thought they could wait a little while longer. Leading to our current predicament.

Lack of perspective and lack of ability to see things from the Autonites' view. They are *literally* three individuals staring at the glaring evidence and reminder of their entire race being under the thrall of a virus every second of every day while trying to push forward in their limited way to prepare to free their people.

They aren't a civilization right now. They are three *individual* refugees staring at their people that are in slavery to a alien virus.

Didn't Ijin shoot the manufacturing instalation?
The update literally stated that the projectile/mine was something left over from when Ijin was brainwashed from the virus.

We were repeatedly told that they were impatient, there's an active genocidal CPU Moon in their home system, and at various points nearly half the thread has been yelling that we should help them. There's been numerous warnings; I don't think this can be brushed off as a minor oversight.

I don't think even if Ijin was not currently in his oh shit state unlike the other 2 he hasn't had any secret events like the other 2 have (the research place and the clonning lab)

So, did anyone notice the part of the update where the Dancer was made, and the Assembly and Calculators helped out? That seemed really interesting to me.
