Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

Mab's feelings are writ so clear upon her face a child could read them. As the Queen of Air and Darkness rises her hand to smite the thing she is radiantly happy and it is terrifying to look at
On one hand, I really want to stab nemesis and see what happens if you mutilate an Outer Knight*. On the other cockblocking Mab on this feels a little off.

* We're playing a Solaroid, who needs the Great Curse when you can have home grown hubris instead? There are standards to live up to here people. :V

It's Halloween and she looks disturbingly happy. Odds are good she can kill this bit.
In this case, I don't see a reason not to let her do it, and use it for further enlightenment

[X] Let her do it, you are curious to see what it looks like
-[X] Use the scene of the murder to ask "What were the circumstances that sparked the life that is being ended here?"

I am unsure about the question. We could also use "how do immortals die?" and "how does one kill an immortal?", and "whose plans does this murder ruin?" and others. But the point is, the act of the murder itself, the scene, is a very potent focus for the crown. If I wanted to be cheeky, I'd ask "where do I find the perfect weapon to kill the beings such as this one", and then we'd go an adventure for an abyssal shard.

Remind me, what did we promise Charity again?
The vote the promise was based on was:
[] Promise to exercise caution in the use of Murder is Meat
And this was what Molly explicitly thought and promised:
[Your mother]'s not asking for a promise to never kill something all the way dead again, but to be cautious. What that means is still up to you and you know your mother knows that as well. "I'll be careful," you nod firmly

I don't think we should even consult Mab on that, just straight up go for the kill.

There were no agreements between Molly and Mab on what to do with the exorcised entity, so that's clear, Mab agreed to give what she promised on successful completion of the exorcism which already happened, so that's clear and Molly already has her rewards.

We know for sure MiM works, we don't know if whatever the Mab will attempt would actually work, and right now it looks like she is driven by emotions which were actually the root cause of all these troubles she had with Maeve, Molly knows best and is not emotionally affected by the situation, she is better poised to decide and to do the deed.

[X] Immediately go for the kill yourself with MiM.

Mab's smiting could help with the killing if she won't stop, but it's fine either way.

hey boss can we ask a questiin while looking at this part of nemesis?

So would the great liar lie to itself, so would the hatred of All hate itself still.

Hello, they who once where the fetish of the Ebon Dragon, who once was The Shadow of all things, how are you on this fine day?

One internet cookie on the mysterious mortal that lead to Nemesis being discarded being the Scarlet Empress during the grand plan for a wedding.

The exaltation remembers what it was.

What it might be again if Uriel's gambit succeeds.

Playing a template in the hopes of playing another is not a great way to enjoy things. We are an Infernal, we have no need to become a Solar, we can work with what we have, we don't need to *be redeemed* or any drivel like that.

Using the Crown around Mab risks her seeing it, even if not used on her.

Let's not.

You really think she will even pay attention to what we're doing when she has a part of one of her biggest enemy offered on a silver platter right in front of her? When said enemy hurt her daughter who is one of the few things she still care about? When she has no reasons to even try and look? When we're not even using it on her and her seeing it if we did that is not even sure?

The crown is not that easy to see, and I don't think it even is possible to detect it if you're not the target and right in front of the infernal using it.

Edit:

In fact, @DragonParadox, does Molly think it is even possible for Mab to see her using the crown here if she isn't pointing it at Mab but at Nemesis?

Even if she can, the murder scene is still the murder scene right? Come back in two days and poke it like we did Greene's. It should be easier to use than his was by the rules we have for the crown, considering how much more significant the event will be.

Personally I think the murder scene itself is removed enough to be safe, but even if it isn't we can still make this work.

Well, then.
Who are we to get in the way of another's joy?

Also also, something something keeping Molly's secrets is good, also there is a very very slim chance that seeing Mab's work might turn out to be educational for Molly about something useful.

It is ashamed of the fact that it was abandoned and more broadly that it wants to be what it was to the point where it lingers within its victims rather than disposing them as fast as it should for maximum damage sometimes. You did not see enough to know what the criteria are for that but it is common enough to meaningfully affect its performance.
I'm trying to come up with ways of revealing that information to Mab while hiding how we found out. 'All Things Betray' ain't crown-level scary... but ATB might be close to it in terms of how others would respond.

Edit: Forgot to vote

This is Maeve's apartment. Not sure we'll have access to it in a few days. Chances are it's either going to be destroyed or heavily protected.

[X] Offer to kill it yourself. Just Mab knowing about the power isn't breaking your promise to your mother right?
