I suppose I can swap over the the Naklis comm hub and put some points into specialist electronics. The former still only gets us 1 Network for 10 EXP, but it does give us some ACD we need too, the latter also gets us Network and a new tech, thought we won't have the points to finish it this turn.Could I convince you to make an alternative plan along much the same lines elsewhere, but in EXP focusing on Naklis? Because there's a lot of free EXP and ACD to be had there, not just Network and Nuclear Materials.
I'll vote for both your original plan and for the alt, to be clear; I think yours is quite good as-is.I suppose I can swap over the the Naklis comm hub and put some points into specialist electronics. I really, really question why people insist on doing stuff we don't need to do when we keep putting off actually exploring more despite the warning we got that people seem pretty intent on ignoring. Again, we need to explore or it's going to bite us in the ass because people keep putting it off all the time.[X] Plan: Protective Spirit Network

Because as I've said, it's in the same sector as the Red Stars mission we just had it do, so it should be a shorter warp trip that inflicts less on the crew and the ship that traveling all the way to another quadrant.I really, really question why people insist on doing stuff we don't need to do when we keep putting off actually exploring more despite the warning we got that people seem pretty intent on ignoring. No, that is doing the minimum with bare safe research and trying to avoid any serious risks. We were literally warned that we need to take risks or we risk extinction. This is the W40K universe, we can't really afford to put our heads in the sand and hope that we don't get blindsided by outside threats.Because as I've said, it's in the same sector as the Red Stars mission we just had it do, so it should be a shorter warp trip that inflicts less on the crew and the ship that traveling all the way to another quadrant.
That's not to mention the possibility that taking time to scan the black holes or whatever phenomena/planets we come across later will provide useful insights or bonuses, like how the Red Giants are giving us extra ACD points now.
We are out exploring with FTL, it's what our ships are meant to do. Which means that every turn, barring drydocking, we'll be poking our scanners into two new areas we haven't yet, and that number is only going to get better the more scanning tech we unlock and the more ships we make.

We're exploring as fast as our fleet allows, and our fleet can only be grown so fast, particularly if we throw our entire efforts into shipbuilding to the expense of growing our economy to sustain further shipbuilding. No, that is doing the minimum with bare safe research and trying to avoid any serious risks. We don't need a fleet, we literally have a ship design meant for exploration and our options include going pretty far and yet your plan involves going very far from our system. We can't afford to wait untold turns to do any serious exploration and doing so is just taking extreme over cautiousness. And yes, it is extreme over cautiousness to not be willing to send ships literally meant for exploring and actually use them to explore. We're exploring as fast as our fleet allows, and our fleet can only be grown so fast, particularly if we throw our entire efforts into shipbuilding to the expense of growing our economy to sustain further shipbuilding.
You'll note that my plans have always taken as many EXP-increasing options as can be reasonably gotten away with--that's not just the sector where we build our ships, it's also where we get the Nuclear Material to build the ships with. If you want to colonize the galaxy, vote for the plans with the most EXP gain, and stop yelling at us to run faster while we're running as fast as we can.
Did you not just see how we fucked up one of our only ships because we're sending them through the warp with protection that can be generously said to exist? I was right there calling for people to build ships and research the warp drive, then take the risks of not waiting for protection to be researched because it would have taken to long. No, that is doing the minimum with bare safe research and trying to avoid any serious risks. WE.WERE.UNLUCKY. As in we literally rolled a 2 last turn. Even with better protection there is always a risk with Warp travel. On top of that we can't really afford to wait to improve Warp protection because it's incredibly costly and time consuming. It could take ages for us to get serious warp protection and we literally warned about being that cautious. Also need to point out that the warp failure happened just going to a black hole to research it while the last time we did any serious warp travel we didn't really have much issues.Did you not just see how we fucked up one of our only ships because we're sending them through the warp with protection that can be generously said to exist? I agree that we need to keep exploring, and we will. But if we push too hard, and end up with our ships having to spend more and more time in the dockyard for repair and "shore" time than we otherwise would need too, we may find ourselves falling behind in exploration compared to where we could be if we had just a little restraint to keep our ships and crews going longer.
I think we need to explore seriously so that we actually have a better idea of galactic threats and threats around our sector. Hence voting for a plans that actually do serious exploration. Otherwise you just keep getting plans where people will put it off indefinitely because they don't want to take any kind of risk on that end.For someone so absolutely adamant on maximum fleet aggression, the plan you're actually backing seems oddly Cautious.
If they are responding to level of development and pacified by rituals there may be a mind of some sort involved. Why is everyone straight up ignoring Sleepwalk Brew? This is literally the best option in the entire CUL , I don't even remember the single option granting 3 stats at once before existing.
Also , what's up with all these peace with bugs plans? Why can't we just do a Temple Expedition and crush the bugs for good? They are probably just mindless drones created to protect the remnants of their creators civilisation
