[X] She was going to sit in on final lesson with Elder Ying

Gotta let our baby boy say goodbye to the old mountain

[X] She was going to sit in on final lesson with Elder Ying

I hadn't remembered that it was Ying's trial we gained Zhengui from, nor that Thousand Rings Fortress came after the Spooky Cloud Tribe Man Ghost Debacle until other folks here mentioned those; still, with these in mind I would vote this even if I feel a little bad kind-of-snubbing Su Ling.

[X] She was going to sit in on final lesson with Elder Ying

Because this arc is about paying respects, and Elder Ying has done a lot worthy of respect for LQ.

[X] She would see Su Ling next, who would be coming out of military drill with her former commander Guan Zhi

[X] She was going to sit in on final lesson with Elder Ying

I admit, I don't remember a lot about the elders from back in Forge, but this does seem interesting.

Well, after giving it some thought...

Su Ling and Gan Guangli are a thing, so we'll be seeing more of her in the future through that medium. Also narratively speaking going from Elder to Elder to Elder in the last three visits makes a great deal of sense. It makes this section primarily about Ling Qi saying goodbye to her teachers, and I like that a lot.
